Next, I showed her a photo of what I wanted for length, hair was almost to shoulder , she immediately zeroed in on color. She said I can do that color. Which she did, beautiful auburn. However the cut was a disaster, the top and sides from front view was wonderful. Then she did the back then turned me around, gave me a mirror and said it's short. OMG. The front and top were great. The back; from ear to ear, then to the crown she cut my hair 3" at crown and shorter going down to nape of neck. WHAT! My family was WHAT??? I have very long and thick wavy hair and wanted her to cut it so it had layers and emphasize the natural curls. She did a fantastic job and also taught me how to style and diffuse and dry my hair at home so that way I'm able to replicate the same low maintenance look I was going for. Highly recommend! You can make a reservation online and they do require a deposit. I think it was about 25% of the service selected. And then you pay the rest in person. I found that it was good value for the money compared to haircuts in the bay area where I live.

If you are Black and want your hair done right DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. My daughter was asked to leave with her Locs soaking wet. And no one else in the shop said don't worry I'll take care of you.
