The owner is super kind, communicative and attentive to my needs and questions. I always used to do acrylic nails by other nail techs and my natural nails became damaged so I wanted to start growing my natural nails so this was actually my first time ever getting a regular gel manicure! Lina was able to see me early the next morning so I jumped at the appointment. Lina is quiet and direct, some might find her brusque. But she really isn't, she knows her craft and has the tools and knowledge to prove it. She worked on my calluses before soaking my feet, explaining the soaking caused the skin to open up and be more delicate/painful as she carefully "sanded" down the dry skin. She had special power tools for the various bumps which were far less painful than the pumice stone treatment most spas use. I have never had calluses retreat so quickly. She also pointed out other health issues my feet were experiencing and what I should be doing to make them feel better. Her shop is small with 2 chairs and is blissfully quiet, unlike many large noisy Nail Salons. If you want a real Health Spa experience for your next Mani/Pedi I suggest you seek out Lina's Nails.

What I didn't like was when she was done using the tools for my pedicure she put them in my dirty foot water to clean (I am not sure if she took them to clean further but it made me wonder how the tools we're disinfected. As I walked up to the counter to pay I had to walk around the clipped toenails from other customers. Timely and effective communication when looking to book for a pedicure…read more Booked via yelp for a 1pm appointment for the next day- Showed up a little early and they were graciously able to get me started earlier, very clean and friendly tho did seem a little visibly disappointed when I declined a manicure even tho I was asking for the most expensive pedicure- my tech took their time, was very thorough and loved that they don't use the cheese grater on my feet! It's a solid place to get a good pedicure , one tip I would give to the establishment is to be mindful of how your techs react when a customer declines a service.

Every time I go in the nail techs go above and beyond - I always walk out with beautiful acrylics that are thin/natural looking and well shaped. Tonight they even took me as a late walk in and stayed half an hour past closing to finish my nails.
