I've only recently moved into Bella Tess, and would like to share some of my experiences so far. Keep in mind I have been moved in for less than a week, and a longer term review will likely go up as I post more photos of the property and surrounding area. Employees: Callie was amazing from start to finish with my leasing experience. I tried to do my due diligence prior to signing my lease to make things as easy as possible, and everything went quite smoothly. Callie kept me up-to-date on the process flow, was responsive to my questions, and kept me excited to get moved in to my new home. Kudos. Property: The property seems very nice so far, as much of the amenities are currently closed for Winter. I look forward to using the pool facilities and spending some nights near the fire. The property is kept clean, and the styling/paint design choices really keep the property looking modern. This is great in the Spokane area, as many properties were build several decades ago. Having a newer and modern feeling property goes a long way. Parking: Thankfully I work from home, so I'm not having to find parking on a daily basis, or I just might go mad. I've had to walk from near the main offices several times when I came back from errands and found no parking near my building. I accept this as I'm not paying for parking currently, though it is definitely on my radar if I could get a spot close to my apartment. Apartment: The apartments are very nice, especially for the area. I feel like they have done more than the bare minimum in their design and decisions for things like appliances and countertops. While the lower floors have a composite(?) countertop, they're still nice. The top floors have the very nice granite countertops, which would have been appreciated on the lower floors as well, especially with the minimal price difference between a floor 1 and floor 3 unit. The fridge and dishwasher are passably nice. They were probably about the same style as from when the property was built. You can see the age in them a touch, but overall they have held up well and keep a modern look, which I appreciate. Being in a phase 1 unit, I have central air, though it leaves me with less closet space, it has been pleasant so far being able to set my temperature schedules and assure my cat is happy while I'm away. The bathroom has a very large footprint, which is appreciated. The mirror is wonderfully large. The tub? Well, it's "normal" size, which is to say it won't fit an adult all that well. This, again, is expected in apartments. Overall: I'd recommend this property if you're looking for something slightly more upscale than the 70s-90s built units in the area. While they may cost a bit more than comparable apartments at other locations, the amenities and staff make up for this. read more

Horrible!!! THEY LET DRUG LORDS LIVE HERE!! Going to tell you how it really is, no FAKE REVIEW here!! They are built so cheap - SO CHEAP, you can hear your neighbor burp, pee, have sex, have fights, music, TV (so that you can't hear your own TV) and god help you if they have a dog. You can hear the dogs constant barking like it is in your apartment. When people go up/down the stairs, it's Like an earthquake and pictures on your walls shake. They let trash move in there. Want to open your windows? Go ahead. The smoke will come barreling into your apartment so that you are getting MOUTHFULS of it. The office staff are certainly all smiles and so friendly during the move in process. Once you are all moved into your beautiful apartment and you start calling the office to let them know of the sudden hell your living in, that is when all the fun starts my friends. They promptly tell you that they can call the person but they need proof. So they call the person who is using a huge power saw loud as hell on the porch above you while you are trying to sleep and the person says, "no! I'm not doing that, she is just crazy!" The office turns against you and calls you a liar saying no he is not doing that, he said so. Because they don't want to deal with it. They when he is hammering at all hours of the night sounding like he is goiNg to come through the ceiling, they again say they need proof, but won't let you record or video anything because it is against the law. They are FAKE nice, talk behind your back, call you names, talk about all residents in a horrible manner when their back is turned. How do I know? I became friends with one of the leasinG agents and she gave me the scoop. She hated it there and recently quit. Taylor the mgr is nothing but a jerk! No common sense. Rene and Melissa are exactly like high school mean/bully's. So many people have moved out of Bella Tess BREAKING their lease to get the hell out. BY THE WAY, my next door neighbor at Bella Tess was a drug lord. Scary as hell looking and in & out with shady characters all day and night. One night I hear yelling and screaming @ my front door and massive banging. It was, the SWAT TEAM, FBI, AND COPS. THEY USED A RAM ROD TO BREAK DOWN neighbors DOOR. SWAT was screaming get down on the ground. Ninja looking swat team was running around outside with huge rifles. About 25 - 30 cop cars and tanks out in front of my unit in the parking lot. WELCOME TO BELLA TESS!!!!!!!'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Beautiful property located next to a great trail! That is where the nice stops! This is NOT A SAFE PLACE! Leasing agent Marissa lied about this being a peaceful place! I made it very clear to Marissa the reason we were looking for a new place is because I was attacked by a former tenant that I had made several complaints about to management prior to the attack! I made it VERY clear the only thing I wanted was peace and safety! For 2 months now we have submitted several complaints about the tenants above us and to the side of us! Quiet hours are to be 10 pm to 8 am! Every Friday starting at 945 pm apartment BB306 starts there pathetic efforts of practicing for a 10 yard relay! By 1130-12 is when they start practicing for the short jump until about 4 am! Around this time it's time for the dog to also start training, running and jumping throughout the entire apartment! This starts to settle down about 730am. About the time apartment BB208 starts excessively slamming their door! If you have any type of PTSD this IS NOT A SAFE PLACE for you! Not only did Marissa lie about this being a safe place but she also lied about their diligence in efforts to make this a safe place! There have been SEVERAL complaints submitted by phone and email about these situations without any resolve! I want people to also be aware that the dog that is in apartment BB306 is also a pitbull! The apartment management knows that dog is there! I had made several complaints about them leaving there dog home alone to bark for 6 hours every Saturday and Sunday! I even had to call SCRAPS just to get some help for some peace on a weekend when I don't work! This apartment will lie to you to get your signature on a lease! They will tell you that aggressive breads are not allowed! The dog upstairs is a pitbull, they have several complaints about the irresponsibility of the tenant towards the pet, so they know that a pitbull is living in this facility! Also they say this is a smoking free place but that too is a lie! The tenants below us are smoking and the part that is disgusting about it is that they leave their cigarette butts on the ground! This has been reported by my spouse to Paul! Who said it didn't matter it was probably maintenance who left them there! Now that I have given you a small idea of how safe this place isn't, let me talk to you about the lie of 96% efficiencies! read more

My fiance and I were immediately impressed with the entire complex as well as the staff and community at Bella Tess! We attended their open house, which was so thoughtfully put together, and we left the same day literally racing to snatch up a unit! Each floor plan is equally breath taking! I loved everything from the enormous floor to ceiling windows to the detailing of the kitchen back splash and more! We were especially thrilled over the hard floor laminate which brings out a beautiful modern feel to the apartment! The design is neutral which allows all residents/future residents the opportunity to be creative with their space! We also look forward to many days at the fitness center, which is bright and clean, has a lot of open space & circulation, and easy to access at any time. The Club House is another story!!! -- SO many great things I can say about this area! It has windows galore which boast a lot of natural lighting (which i love!) and has been immaculately designed with a full kitchen and living area to host a get together with friends and family! We look forward to great memories here! We also wanted to take the time to appreciate the wonderful staff & management team at Bella Tess! They have gone above and beyond to help assist us in our future move in and we couldn't have asked for a better management team that we trust! Thank you ladies for your kindness and expertise, it hasn't gone unnoticed! I encourage everyone to come on by and take a peek! At the time of this review, the complex is growing, so construction throughout the area is blended into the noise rating but should not deter you from checking out this fabulous property!! Perfect location for avid outdoors people, I walk my dogs to the Spokane River every day! And less than an hour away is Mt. Spokane, grab a coffee from the Bella Tess office or from the Panera Bread right up the street! Stunning views and sunsets, gorgeous units, vaulted ceilings, brand new....everything (appliances, floor to ceiling windows, hardwood floors, etc). Perhaps I haven't found it yet, but seemingly no RJ-45 to plug in a land line, maybe an unpopular feature and possibly nixed, but seems prudent for general safety. The staff is incredibly responsive, kind and accomodating! Very spacious, lush and green grounds. Plenty of community gathering areas with outdoor firplaces, pool with led lights/fountain and a shiny new outdoor kitchen. Strangely positioned BNC connectors for TV/audio, both on same wall of varying heights. Some internal doors are oddly placed in master bedroom which create a cluster going in/out closet, bathroom and bedroom...not sure what happened on the design with that part. Huge laundry room, spacious hallways and a kitchen not long forgotten!! Anything vaguely imperfect is easy to forgive with the location, community and brand new diggs!! read more

My husband and I just moved here, and it is a very nice place to live. The staff (thanks, Renee!) is friendly and very helpful. When we had maintenance requests for our door and dishwasher, it was taken care of the very next day, and we were also called beforehand to let us know maintenance was coming. We haven't had too many noise problems. The one time we heard a lot of dogs barking from our neighbors', we notified management, and it has no longer been an issue. There are also lots of community events like night yoga at the pool that was provided free of charge for the residents. The pool and the gardens are also well-maintained; I see groundskeepers always working on them. There is also a very nice gym with plenty of machines. I work out everyday and never have to compete with others for use of the machines. The apartment complex is super close to the Centennial Trail, dining establishments, Fred Meyer, and the Valley Mall. Parking can be a little tricky until you get a much coveted covered parking spot (or garage). Overall, it can seem a little pricey to live here compared to other places, but you definitely get what you pay for with a communicative and helpful staff, new appliances, beautiful grounds, and convenient location. read more

I absolutely love the staff at Bella Tess! I will be moving to Spokane this summer from another state and was very stressed about apartment shopping online. You never know how true the images you see online really are. Well when I called up Bella Tess apartments I had the pleasure of speaking to Melissa and told her my situation and within minutes we were facetiming! She stopped everything she was doing to give me a virtual tour around the complex and my apartment! Talk about amazing staff!! Melissa, as well as Taylor, both went above and beyond in helping me choose my apartment as well as help me through the application process. Since then I have secured a 2 bed/ 1 bath on the top level which will be available come summer. The apartments are functional as well as gorgeous and spacious at reasonable prices too! I also love the location as there is a mall within 10 mins and a trail along the river close by. I highly recommend renting from Bella Tess Apartments! read more

This place is stunning! Eye catching from the moment you turn the corner and the colorful buildings line both sides of the street. The amenities they have are better than any other community I've seen, a resort style pool with a lounge deck, multiple outdoor grills, a gym that rivals a professional one, a newly renovated dog park, central air, electric charging stations (we can all agree with gas price this is number one) locally owned fresh brewed coffee daily the list is endless. The staffing is always so friendly and professional. I'm always greeted with a smile and a hello. The maintenance team is equally as friendly and efficient happy to help with the smallest of tasks. Close to the freeway and minutes away from restaurants and shopping, while also across from the Spokane river and the centennial trail it is in a great location. Hands down the best place to live if your looking for a new place to call home in the Spokane area. read more

The Bella Tess Apartments are a wonderful place to call home. The location is super convenient, close to I-90 with easy access, shopping for everything from groceries to furniture is nearby, and walking distance to the Centennial Trail and Spokane River. The Bella Tess complex features great amenities including a nice sized pool, fitness room and club house, along with beautiful landscaping and a nice, big yard. They are pet friendly creating a great atmosphere for those of us with furry friends. The apartments themselves are very comfortable. The kitchens are large and the main living space has a 'great room' feel. The laundry room is a plus, seldom found in other apartments, along with central air and gas heat. The high ceilings make the apartments seem even larger, and the third floor 21-foot ceilings are spectacular! Add to this the friendly and responsive staff and Bella Tess is the perfect choice! read more

I'm not a resident here but I visit the area quite often and have many friends who live inside the apartments. I've become fairly familiar with the maintenance staff and the tasks they undertake. I must say the job that the maintenance team does is done superlatively. They keep up with on-time work completion, stay up-to-date on complaints, do excellent cleaning work, and are all around very friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves are very nice, and an excellent choice for anyone looking for a beautiful and modern place to stay. The grounds have commodities, including a dog park, which make for a more convient and comfortable stay, and are clearly taken very good care of to make for some lovely scenery. This place is excellent, far above what I expected from past experience with other property management firms, and a clear choice for individuals who are able to afford the living spaces. read more

My wife is a harsh critic so when she tells people that she loves her Bella Tess apartment, she really LOVES it! The layout of the apartment makes the living room area larger than most apartments and the living room windows are a great asset as they let in a lot of natural light. We have a very nice view of Antoinne Peak and we can watch the sunsets. Bella Tess is also located near a trail-head that gets you on the Centennial Trail so you can have an invigorating walk or jog near the Spokane River, which is another reason why we choose Bella Tess (not to mention that they are conveniently located near major stores). The office staff of Bella Tess are friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Melissa and Taylor guided us every step of the way, which made the whole process painless. They even make cookies. Apartment hunting and moving is something that we all dread! The wonderful staff at Bella Tess made moving for me one of the best experiences I have had! Not only did Melissa constantly stay in contact with me throughout the process but the entire staff checked on me several times while I was waiting for my apartment to be ready to move in. Once I was all moved in my A/C was having some problems and Taylor and Melissa were quick to help and had the problem resolved almost immediately. This staff is a great group of people who make a clear effort to get to know their tenants and build relationships with us all! This is definitely a place that I plan on staying for a long time and I'm excited to see the community grow and become what the staff at Bella Tess intend it to be. read more

I knew right away these apartments were well-built, modern, high-quality living spaces that I would want to live in, as soon as I arrived. After just walking through the leasing office and clubhouse, I fell in love with the chic decor and attention to detail. The leasing officer was super friendly and informative and very professional. Once we toured one of the apartments, I was astounded at the architects and builders for choosing such a unique layout as well as the placement of each building and how it's facing the natural environments encompassing them. Really excellent place to live and I am excited for my friend to move here so I can visit her and we can lay by the pool in the summer time or go on a run on the centennial trail just a few footsteps away. read more

My girlfriend and I searched for an apartment for months and then our dream apartment came to life out of no where! I first called before construction was even finished and I was pretty much sold just from my first impression, Taylor! Her and her staff are super friendly. The apartment complex is a nice modern-urban look, the grey/dark brown compliment each other very nicely. There is more room than you'd expect, all of the appliances are stainless steel, up to date. Noise from upstairs is pretty standard but the noise from wall to wall is impressive. The windows are tall and gorgeous! The pass code lock on the door comes in handy when you don't want to carry an extra key around. We dreamt an apartment and this blew our dreams out of the water!! read more

I applied in late September/Early October. I didn't hear anything and called the leasing office. Renee assured me that she had everything other than a few minor things (proof of rental insurance at their location and information on my cat). She said she would email me multiple times and did not. I stopped into the office. Again Renee assured me they had everything and would email me and did not. 3 weeks later she finally emailed me advising she could send a lease. She did not. Not in a huge hurry to move, I waited another week or two and called. AGAIN I was promised the lease would be sent and it was not. I found another place. Good riddance! read more

It's hard to find a place that meets all your needs or well I used to think that until we found the Bella Tess. It's close to schools, parks and shopping. The staff are incredible and go the extra mile to make you feel like family and are always there to hear what you have to say. They made moving in easy and enjoyable. The kitchens here are big and the upgrades of stainless steel look absolutely sharp. All in all the apartments are gorgeous, modern and spacious. The floor to ceiling windows make the apartment extra bright and makes it feel like a home instead of apartment. The neighbors are friendly too, I promise you won't regret moving in here! read more

I have not lived at Bella Tess, but the wonderful customer service makes all the difference and we will hopefully be moving in the beginning of July. I felt so welcomed and had a chance to have all my questions answered. I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door. Chana was so helpful and excited to show us around a model apartment and the entire apartment complex. She definitely went above and beyond what I thought was going to be shown and informed of. Bella Tess have so many amenities and truly want their tenants to feel safe, welcomed, and at home! Our experience so far with all of the staff at Bella Tess has been fantastic! Our move in process has been fast, smooth, as easy and moving could be. Melissa and Katarina have been incredibly kind and helpful. We made a couple trips in to look at different apartments, I've asked numerous questions, and they've been smiling and excited to hear from us each time. The apartments are gorgeous, with a warm home quality, and a layout that makes it feel more like a house and less like an apartment. Bella Tess was such an amazing home for my husband and I. When we had to leave due to work, we were so sad to go! So much so, that when we came BACK to Spokane Valley, we leased for a second time at the apartment complex. Bella Tess was our first home together, it was where we started our family and where we met so many amazing people. The leasing team was always kind and helpful - any complaints we had, they were always on top of it! We eventually built a home and moved ahead in life, but, we will always cherish and appreciate the experiences and friendships made at Bella Tess! read more
