I have an outdoor couch & 2 chairs from the 1950's. The cushions were original and really needed to be replaced. After contacting and getting quotes from about 6 upholsterer's, I went to J & E because there quote seemed reasonable, it is on my side of town and they had really great reviews on this site (now gone?). It took less than 2 weeks for the 10 cushions to be completely remade and I couldn't be happier. Rick, the owner, is very nice, professional, and obviously knows what he is doing. I plan to take good care of my 'new' outdoor furniture so it can be around another 60 years. Thank you!! read more

Don't waste your time. I took in a couple of chairs to be reupholstered, during the middle of the supposed "open" hours, and it was closed. If you're really determined to spend money with someone who can't keep business hours as advertised, be sure to call ahead to make sure someone is at least there. I realized too late that this is the same place that I ran into the same situation several years ago, so that's twice I've gone by during "open" hours and they've been closed both times. I wish I'd left a review like this back then, to remember what kind of place this is. Surely there's an upholstery shop around that's professional and reliable. This isn't it. Now I just hope I save other people the hassle and wasted time. read more

Was shopping around for someone to rework the seat of my Triumph Thruxton motorcycle. Well, I shopped the obvious places and they were all very busy. The shortest time-frame was 2 weeks. The most well known place in the area was scheduling appointments in August! Contacted J&E and was told they could have it done in "about a week". Price was probably in the lower mid-range of others. Dropped off my seat on a Thursday and exactly one week after, I got a call letting me know that my seat was completed! Went to pick up my seat and it looks fantastic! Fair price, quick turnaround compared to others, great results, and a fair price; I will definitely refer people to J&E. read more

J and E has excellent customer service. I Googled an upholstery shop in Denver and most of the results said repair upholstery. I was looking for a company that would be able to put my custom leather on my sports bike seats. So I chose J & E upholstery. I showed up 30 mins before they closed just to see how much they would charge me to upholster my custom seats. After talking with a gentlemen/owner he gave a great price I could not pass up. Then he found out that I drove from Aurora and he immediately started to work on it. Wow talk about customer service. I was super impressed with how great it looked and how awesome I was treated. These guys are great! I had a couch cushion chewed by a dog and was pretty much resigned to getting a new couch.
