Cute, quaint cafe. Street parking available and there's the Civic Center Parking lot across the street (just in case). I had a vanilla latte with almond milk- the coffee tasted great and the owner was very friendly. Have some patience with the staff though after you order, they get quite busy and only one person was making the drinks on this hot June Saturday morning. My only complaint is the outdoor seating is slightly confusing. The cafe had three tables with chairs out in front but then there's another building next door that says it's a residence but it had a lot of outdoor seating and I noticed people from the cafe were sitting over there. I still don't know if that seating is for the cafe, for the residence, or both. Some more signage would be helpful! read more

This is a lovely gem of a cafe in Baraboo! Great espresso and tea, and the pastries are to die for. We shared a raspberry chocolate gluten free scone which was amazing and big enough for two of us. Great ambience and beautiful outdoor seating. Servers were very chirpy and warm too! read more

Loved this place! First of all, it's in a cool location with plenty of outdoor seating and a loft indoors with lovely decor. Second, the coffee and pastries were delicious! Excellent, smooth foam on the hot latte complete latte art. The iced vanilla cardamom latte was excellent too- a little sweet(I'll get it half sweet next time), but I love the flavor combinations. My veggie frittata was fresh and delicious. Finally, the service was awesome too. Can't have a good coffee without a friendly barista- thanks for the great service! read more

Best latte I think I have ever had. Quiche was very good. Outdoor seating is so pleasant.

What a great place. Have driven by it for several years. Today, we made it a priority. Parked across the street in the Baraboo Auditorium parking lot. Plenty of spots. It was Saturday and we just finished watching a little league game. We won, so we were in our best behavior. Entered thru the front door and immediately came to an ordering counter staffed by a barista. Pastries by local bakers were nicely displayed as were a few breakfast items. The owner, Karen, was there helping and answering questions. Very friendly and helped guide our selections. Wifey had hot decaf with a spot of cream. I had an iced decaf americano with two shots coffee and a lot of cream. Both coffees were hearty and had great flavor. I got so excited with mine that I dumped it over and had to get a remake. Very embarrassing to say the least. We both ordered the breakfast fratatia. It looked delicious and was loaded with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, spinach and a bunch of herbs. It was served as a slice about 4"x5" - very generous serving. It was warmed up in the kitchen area and brought to the table. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day, but there was plenty of seating inside. The place is rather quaint with I'm guessing seating for about 25-30 inside and plenty of tables outside on their deck and in their garden area out front. We are happy we stopped. Karen was a gem. She came and spoke with us as we ate. Learned all kinds of good stuff. The coffee was superb, the fratatia was delicious and the setting was classic. Highly recommend without any reservations. We look forward to returning. On the way out we picked up a few additional pastries for home. Can't wait to try them. PS - it's Sunday morning and we are enjoying those pastries we brought home yesterday. Absolutely delicious - chocolate orange scone, fantastic leaving hint of orange in your mouth as a reminder. Almond croissant, superb almond flavor and covered with almond slices. Blueberry scone, delicate yet lemon flavor leaves a pleasant freshness on your palate. Haven't tried the carrot cake cookie yet - maybe this afternoon. read more

Stopped in this morning for breakfast. Had their salted caramel latte and chocolate walnut scone. Cute little cafe- seating upstairs in loft area - 3 small tables, one larger and then a bar along the wall with stools. Downstairs there is two 2 seater tables and then patio seating outside for nicer weather than today. The scone was delicious- crunchy exterior and soft interior. The latte was also yummy. The minute you open the door you know the quality of the food and beverages is going to be high, all crafted with care. The pastries are all made in house, with a big variety to choose from. The coffee drinks are also top notch. And we loved the modern farmhouse interior. Love this and highly recommend! read more

We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee on a perfect early morning. But the very best part of the entire visit was the quiche! It was the best quiche I have ever eaten! This is a cute, small cafe right in the heart of Baraboo...it is family owned, which I love, appreciate, and am proud to give my business to support. The customer service met my expectations; I never know what to order at new places especially, and was offered several recommendations as I quickly talked through what I was looking for here. The coffee is flavorful, yet strong (you can taste the coffee flavor! ). You can tell that the baristas now their customers, as i observed them seeing familiar faces and this place definitely has a community feel. I ordered the frittata and a custom made latte w/ locally made honey and a drizzle of salted caramel, along with a raspberry, peach iced tea (seasonal). Overall, I enjoyed my experience trying this cafe out, although the missing star is for the hours, which are only from 8am-12pm (I put in a request for Yelp to change) so I did feel rushed to eat my food and get my drinks to go. Also, just a heads up that the bathroom door slides open, so don't push and pull like I did! xD read more

My wife and I frequently visit this amazing little coffee shop in baraboo. We are fortunate enough to live close and regularly tell others this is one of the best coffee shops we have ever visited. We travel fairly frequently and try coffees shops across the United States and still say this is one of the best! As a bonus, their baked goods are also incredible! The owner and employees are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Very nice place to visit while you are in the area! read more

By far, Baraboo's best coffee shop and café. Food is fresh and the baked goods are outstanding. Nice variety of spaces to sit for some work or catch up with friends. Staff is friendly and cheerful. We lost another great place in town a year ago but we're so pleased to see Bella Vita open up this year. The parking near by can be a bit tricky but you can easily park over in the city lot west of the cafe if finding a spot on the street is difficult. Enjoy! read more

We were driving around Baraboo looking for a place to eat and decided to go here. The employees were so kind and helpful. I have many food allergies and it's always a sweet surprise when restaurants are friendly and accommodating about them. Our food and drinks were delicious. Our group of 8 had heard this place just opened a month ago so we needed to check it out! One never knows if a new restaurant will be running smoothly. It was a happening place! Great looking food, fabulous service, cute tables, and local artwork, we were in for a treat! The outdoor garden seating was surrounded by the absolutely cool vibe of flowers in great big oversized pots. Decorated so well. It was an all-around awesome place to hang out! Inside we had freshly baked homemade quiche, turkey gouda wrap, a vegetarian hummus wrap, a chicken salad sandwich, Caprese flatbread, mushroom cheese flatbread (to go), the very last morning bun, (we know now why there was only one left!) cherry pistachio scones, cowboy cookies, flourless chocolate cookies and a great big sigh of relief! Not only is this place adorable, and the food and drink amazing, the servings were exactly the right size! No complaints, only praise from EVERYBODY, including an 82-year-old MAN! He said he would come back, just not with 7 women! Cheers to our new favorite cafe! Love the character of this place! For the next visit, we will be sitting upstairs on the second floor, we have to check that out too! 10 out of 10 stars! read more
