We had dinner at BellaBrava on a Thursday night and had a really nice experience overall. We made a reservation and were seated right away when we arrived. We chose to sit outside, which made for a great atmosphere. The service was really good--friendly, attentive, and well-paced throughout the meal. We started with the bruschetta and arancini. The bruschetta wasn't our favorite, but the arancini was delicious and definitely the standout appetizer. They also bring out herbed bread with oil and garlic, which was just okay. For our entrees, we shared a hot honey pizza, which we really enjoyed, and my daughter had the chicken tenders and fries, which were pretty good as well. My mom's favorite dish is Beef Carpaccio so for her birthday, decided to take her to a place that supposedly had the best. We decided to sit outside as the weather was wonderful. The area is beautiful and atmosphere absolutely delightful. Waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable, polite, and stayed attentive to our needs the entire meal. Now I'm going to be honest. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to beef Carpaccio. I've had it so many places and some are good, but others were insanely bad (as one of my last reviews). This one was by far the best I've had in Florida. Absolutely amazing and what made it even better was the sautéed capers. I'm not a capers fan but done this way, I couldn't get enough. The Arancini balls were absolutely delicious. Forgot to ask what the sauce was, but absolutely amazing. You could tell the pasta was actually homemade. Tortellini was more shaped like a ravioli which is the only negative I can say about it, but it was done al denté the way it's supposed to be, and there was plenty of lobster in every bite. Most places tend to skimp when it comes to lobster filling, but not this place and it was cooked perfectly. They brought my mom a piece of chocolate cake which was also amazing! I've been to the BellaBrava in Land o Lakes multiple times and we were over in St Pete for a show and decided to try them out. We had made reservations for 4 and had to add 1 more and they were so accommodating. The service was great, for being busy we were helped very quickly and by 2 waiters! The waiter made great recommendations that did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing and I found the bread in this location to be better than our local one. While the inside was smaller than our local one and not as bright, their outdoor seating was huge and well equipped with heat lamps and lots of seating. read more

I came into town to attend a music festival and also met up with a friend from my hometown. I told him I was craving Italian and he suggested this place. While we had a reservation for 9:15, my overly controlling host for Airbnb made us late but thankfully they were still able to accommodate us. We were sat in a booth and immediately given water and complimentary foccaccia (big enough for each person to get two pieces). I was starving and because I love bread, naturally, I dove right in. The focaccia was light and paired well with the olive oil that was on the table. Usually I'd ask for balsamic but it was good enough without it. We decided to split the arancini for an app, drink wise, I went with the blueberry prosecco martini and for my entree, I got the chicken parm. The arancini was good! It's been a while since I've had arancini with no meat but his was def pleasing to the palate! The drink did not disappoint; it was the perfect mix of bubbles and fruit and something I'd describe as sophisticated yet fun! Our main dishes came shortly after and I was overwhelmed by my plate. They def don't skimp when it comes to portions and I could have easily made several meals out of my plate. The chicken was breaded perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The pasta (one I've never tried before) was delicious and was the perfect choice for the sauce (Asiago cream sun dried tomato). After eating all I could, we asked for the check and were on our way. You def get your money's worth here from the food to the service and everything in between. I think they have very good food overall .... for me , not up there with some of my favorite Italian restaurants, but that being said, I've never had bad meal. The truffle pasta is excellent. I usually go to the Tampa location, which is always phenomenal, so we decided to try the St. Pete location this time. The food was great and the staff was friendly, which made for a nice experience overall. The only downside was that it felt like there wasn't much air conditioning -- it was very warm inside, and there was a giant fan blowing near us the whole time, which made it a bit loud. The Blueberry Prosecco Martini is absolutely delicious and one of my favorite drinks! I made a reservation for my GF for later in the evening on her birthday. It wasn't very busy, but they still basically, forgot we were there after the hostess seated us next to the noisy kitchen. She ordered Lobster Tortellini, and said it was decent but not much flavor. I kept it simple and ordered the Chicken Parmesan it was the most bland meal I've ever had. There were mixture of thin sliced lemon wedges, red peppers and pickles on it! Who would've thought you can deep fry lemon wedges?? They were amazing. It came with a roasted tomato aioli which was delish, and we also asked for a fresh hot marinara sauce. I got the Bellini drink, which was a prosecco, with peach purée and peach schnapps. It was yummy and definitely a go to! The pizza was also delicious, it was loaded with meat. This is my second time coming to BellaBrava, it was just as amazing as the first time. Their Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is a MUST, specially in Summer time. It tastes amazing, not too sugary, not too plain. Just right. 10/10 The caesar salad is very good, the portion is amazing, the taste is great 10/10 The Short Rib Ragu is very delicious as well, its an amazing choice and the rib has a very good taste. 9/10 I got the Gnocchi Alla Vodka last time but im not a huge fan of Gnocchi so I did the Gnocchi Alla Vodka but substituted the Gnocchi for Mafaldine Pasta! This is my go to so 10/10! The pizza is also delicious but pastas are my favorite here! so i'd give their pizza an 8/10 The atmosphere is very nice, very cute for date night.
