Had a great experience, trying this place out for the first time (still can't believe I haven't eaten there before). It's a small, hole in the wall-type place, sandwiched right between Supercuts and the ABC store near Walmart in Bluefield Virginia. Everything in there looked amazing. I had the Chicago steak grinder, which was really, really good. Presentation was nice, since they box your sandwiches for you if you're carrying out, rather than simply wrapping them in paper like at Subway or any other fast food place. The restaurant itself was clean. A couple of tables needed bused when we got there, but they did them really quickly while we were waiting, so I'm assuming the people had just left a few minutes before we got there. The wait itself wasn't bad. They told us it would be about 20 minutes (we were carrying out three sandwiches), but it actually only took maybe 15 minutes. Service was great. Staff was very polite and friendly, though the young man behind the counter was so soft-spoken it was a little difficult to hear him at first. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, instead of 5, is the price (plus, to me, 5 stars equals perfect, so it's going to be pretty difficult to get that). They don't break the bank or anything, but it's definitely more like the price you would pay eating at a restaurant as opposed to a fast food place. My 18 inch grinder was pretty much $15 or slightly under without a drink or anything. Still, great food, and I'll definitely be going back. Just not the type of place you could necessarily afford every day. One thing I will say is they don't skimp on the meat on the sandwiches. Going to take me to meals to finish the sandwich, so it's actually not a bad value.

    Oven baked perfection!

Then I called the store after placing my online order to speak to someone and make sure that my request was understood trying to not confuse anyone and ask that I be charged for them, to then be scolded by the asst Mgr and told they didn't give away stuff for free. I have no problem paying extra, and tried to have her add them to my order, and pay for them. And was again told that I wasn't getting any free stuff. If I overlooked the option to add them to my order, my bad. And don't want anything for free. But was repeatedly told that I was a deadbeat looking for a handout. This was an $88 order mind you. She refused to add them on for me despite repeatedly asking her for the love of God, just add them as a side and make sure to CHARGE me for them but I was told that all I was getting was what was already included and that they were already "giving" to me. So I lost my religion temporarily and said some things I'm not proud of, canceled the order, and haven't been back. I emailed corporate, but all I heard back was a generic auto-response from the computer system. I never got a call back from corporate, the store Mgr or the franchise owner. Thats not a good way to handle a long-time customer in my opinion. I worked with the public for many years and I always tried to take care of my customers as if I were the customer. I felt that it was worth giving away a $10 pizza to an unhappy customer once because that satisfied customer would reorder from me in the future. That assistant Mgr lost a long-time good paying, good-tipping customer over a nickel's worth of pepperoncini that I begged to be charged for. I would have fired my employee for such nonsense. Just my humble opinion.

So, I went in to grab a thin crust Extra Most Best pizza at lunch today (same time as a week or so…read moreago) and was told they do not keep the thin crust pizzas hot and ready until after 4 pm. He could make me one but it would take 15 minutes. I left! Little Caesars's competitive advantage is convenience (Hot and Ready). If I have to pre-order or wait on a pizza to be made once I order it, then my options are wide open (since every other pizza place does their business this way). This was my last trip into Little Caesars, ever!
