Bellacino's has good food, but you had better pray there's no problem with your order, or you're in big trouble. I've just been treated as rudely as I've ever been treated at any restaurant, for any reason, by them. The situation: I came there to eat with my elderly grandmother. We ordered a large veggie pizza and two fountain drinks. We sat down to wait, and did so for about 45 minutes, before she and the people at the table next to me were urging me to go complain about the wait. I said "No, I've worked at pizza places before and I know how hectic it can get. We'll be patient." After an hour had passed, I went up and asked how much longer it would be on our order. They had finished it, but rang it up as carry-out and didn't even announce that it was ready, in case someone was in the store waiting on it. No, they sat it aside in the back room, thinking the person just wasn't coming. After all this, all they could say was: "Welp. Sorry. We'll either remake it or refund you." That's it. No offers of making it right by any other means. Seeing as it had already been an hour, and grandma was very hungry, I decided we would go elsewhere and just get the refund. All they refunded was the pizza itself. Not even the drinks. Didn't even offer to let us take the old pizza that they were surely going to throw away anyway as some means of apology. I told them this was no way to do business and if that's how they are going to treat people who have bent over backwards to be good, patient customers when they've made a mistake like this, I wouldn't darken their door ever again. They said: "I don't appreciate your attitude. Fine! BYE!" (Exact quote.) Their prices are too high anyway. I still just can't even believe this. I am far, far from one to cause a scene or complain, and bite my tongue almost always, but this episode really infuriated me. 0/10 customer service. I called and left my number for the store owner to call me back and tell them about my experience, but they told me they were out of town and they didn't know when they would get back to me. Good quality pizza for a small town local place. We loved being able to take it back to our Airbnb and enjoy it again another day. Sometimes we're simple people. Crust was tender and the pizza sauce (under appreciated by most) had a good flavor balance. We had a supreme and topping we're the standards you'd expect. read more

I love their Italian Grinders and any salad they make is a full meal! They are good about splitting dishes for convenience. Tonight my family enjoy the Bellacino's Pride Pizza. It was loaded with meat and veggies and the cheesiest in town. read more

This Bellacino's is good, but the one in Claypool Hill is better. Especially the bacon and cheese fries. I think the pizza taste the same at both. I've gotten takeout once and ate in once and had good service both times. I don't think the prices are bad either. read more

We just picked up the worst $25 Bellacinos's pride pizza from this store ever. Asked for no mushrooms and no olives but please add more green peppers and onions in place of them and also add about 10 jalapeños on one of the halves. We picked it up and when we got home and started eating the pizza, noticed in about 4 pieces of it I ate, there was a total of 4 pcs pepperoni, 2 pcs of sausage, 5 slivers of green pepper, a couple onions, and about 7 jalapeños. What toppings were there were covered by the cheese so it was not obvious there was such a shortage of toppings. We called the store to complain to the manager and he said it was made the way you ordered it and all toppings are weighed. There is NO WAY they measured these toppings. The manager was rude and insisted it was prepared properly and never offered to make it right. We have been good customers for several years and this is the worst pizza ever picked up from there. If you feel like paying $30 EACH for a large "specialty" pizza that meets nearly zero expectations, definitely try out Bellacino's in Bluefield, VA. Just be sure to stop for some Pepto and acid reducers on your way home. You'll understand why after your second slice. Unless you want to be ripped off with false advertising don't bother. Their prices are everywhere and then they charge you more than advertised. They say they have up signs saying that they have increased their prices but increased to what? No percentages, no stickers, no nothing to say what the new charges are. They can literally make up anything and charge you for it by those standards. read more

Great Pizza. The crust is moderately thin but not crispy/crunchy. The cheese seemed very fresh as well as the toppings. We ordered the large 16" but they have a small 8" that would be great for an individual getting lunch. I would eat here again. read more

Had a great experience, trying this place out for the first time (still can't believe I haven't eaten there before). It's a small, hole in the wall-type place, sandwiched right between Supercuts and the ABC store near Walmart in Bluefield Virginia. Everything in there looked amazing. I had the Chicago steak grinder, which was really, really good. Presentation was nice, since they box your sandwiches for you if you're carrying out, rather than simply wrapping them in paper like at Subway or any other fast food place. The restaurant itself was clean. A couple of tables needed bused when we got there, but they did them really quickly while we were waiting, so I'm assuming the people had just left a few minutes before we got there. The wait itself wasn't bad. They told us it would be about 20 minutes (we were carrying out three sandwiches), but it actually only took maybe 15 minutes. Service was great. Staff was very polite and friendly, though the young man behind the counter was so soft-spoken it was a little difficult to hear him at first. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, instead of 5, is the price (plus, to me, 5 stars equals perfect, so it's going to be pretty difficult to get that). They don't break the bank or anything, but it's definitely more like the price you would pay eating at a restaurant as opposed to a fast food place. My 18 inch grinder was pretty much $15 or slightly under without a drink or anything. Still, great food, and I'll definitely be going back. Just not the type of place you could necessarily afford every day. One thing I will say is they don't skimp on the meat on the sandwiches. Going to take me to meals to finish the sandwich, so it's actually not a bad value. read more

Called in a order I was not very familiar with the menu.I had eaten there once like years ago and remembered the food being good,however this time the person that took my order was not very helpful and sounded frustrated and ended up charging me for large sizes on my order without asking me. Last time I was there I got a calzone, and it was perfect! Absolutely wonderful, and the sauce remains beyond amazing! But I'd be lying if I said all was well... I used to love their Club sandwich, but they seem to have replaced their sliced turkey with a seasoned chunk turkey which throws the flavors completely off. My favorite sandwich in the world is apparently not available anymore. That's not a good thing. But if you want a pizza or a calzone, I still can't find a better place to go to than Bellacino's! read more
