Wonderful food and friendly staff. I've never had anything to complain about. The pizza dough and sauce are some of the best in my opinion.

I love their food but it's expensive for the location. I ride my horse here to pick up food sometimes. Bout to order again now.

The staff is friendly, but I'm not sure about the service because I always just use the drive thru (which I love, by the way).

This evening a man was at the counter arguing that he had placed an order and paid but the waitress kindly stated that she could find no record of his purchase. He could produce no receipt or phone proof that he had ordered. He stormed out and said he was going to leave a bad Yelp review. I wanted to counter his bad review with a good one.

Recently went to check out this restaurant and from the start felt duped by AI. Since the website…read moreprovided an option to reserve a table and the pictures led me to think it was somewhat like a fine dining restaurant, I was surprised to find a pizzeria with wait staff. We decided to try it anyway maybe the food was really good. Here is what we found. The good - Cannoli was delicious, pizzas were well made and tasted good. The bad - The chairs were sunken in the middle so it felt like you were sitting on the wood of the edges (uncomfortable), many of the calzones listed on the menu are actually strombolis and were merely okay, the pasta dishes tasted like Chef Boyardee boxed or canned heated in a microwave, tea was more like brown water, there is an unmarked step into the bathroom which came close to creating a bad fall, the wait staff was disorganized and bordered on unprofessional (drinks and food came out one or two at a time, some of us were done eating before the others even got their food and the food was not worth the wait), the menu was expansive but not in a good way (too much stuff and none done well), and everything was overpriced. All in, the bill was close to $200 and I could have ordered and enjoyed the same food from a local pizza chain for least than half the price and it would have been tastier.

Mind you, the restaurant was not packed, but they seated us in between two tables when there were at least 6 other open tables in the room. Server was quick, friendly. I ordered breadsticks, not realizing that they provide bread for the table (I made the assumption they didn't based on the menu having bread and breadsticks listed). The breadsticks were a very odd texture - seemed doughy but they were not undercooked, lots of butter & garlic. I had the stuffed shells for my entree. My salad consisted of lettuce and cut up tomatoes (which I hate), nothing more. Therefore I had lettuce with my French dressing. The entree came out quickly and looked great. However, the ricotta on the inside of the stuffed shells was super creamy and not very tasty. The sauce was ok, not sweet enough for my liking, but not bad either. The shells themselves were al dente, but seemed chewy. My husband had the shrimp cocktail, which he enjoyed. He ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti as his side. The chicken parm looked great, but seemed to be a frozen chicken patty that was deep fried and drenched in sauce/mozzarella. The spaghetti was pretty good. Overall, meh. Won't be back, but we had something to eat and supported local not a franchise so there's that.

First of all, even though I read that this restaurant has been open for several years. It was…read moreexceptionally clean inside - tables, floors, walls, and especially the bathroom. That speaks volumes for restaurants. We ordered a pizza and manicotti. I wanted to add a salad, but passed; see why later. Let's start with the pizza. My husband said it was the best pizza he had in the area and memories from his childhood from the best pizza joint that he ever ate at in Houston when he was a child. A+ I ordered manicotti. The pasta was tender and the filling inside was good; however, the marinara sauce was just more like a plain tomato sauce that had no flavor, so I was super disappointed. It came with a couple of pieces of garlic bread which were decent. I asked for a small side of Alfredo sauce and I visualized to her about how much I wanted which was like a small sample. She should've told me when I was ordering that they do not have a sample size, but she did not. What I got was a whole bowl of Alfredo sauce and of course I got charged 5.50 for it; and it wasn't even good. It was thick and coagulated. If she had verbalized that they didn't have a sample size I just wouldn't have ordered it. It seems like most of the issues besides the marinara, would have to be attributed to the waitress, as she could not stay focused. She was attentive coming to our table, but she just didn't open her ears to listen when we would speak. For example, when we asked her what size a small pizza was, she said OK a small pizza, which kind. We said, we were asking you the size of it. She didn't know the size but made a hand gesture of approximate size and said it was like a personal pan pizza. When I ordered a salad with thousand island dressing, with some things left off. She went through the trouble of marking everything on her iPad that I did not want, (relating they did not have carrots or tomatoes) and then again asked me what dressing I wanted. When I responded 1000 island again, she replied they didn't have the dressing either. I cancelled the salad. I believe if she had stayed a bit more focused and listened, (and told us upfront there wasn't a sample size of sauce), it would've been a better experience, (waitress wise, even though she was pleasant). We will visit this restaurant again, but since I know the marinara sauce was lacking I will stick to a pizza like my husband had.

The covered patio is fantastic--it sits perfectly between buildings, creating a light, refreshing breeze that makes outdoor dining incredibly comfortable. There's also an ample amount of seating, so you never feel cramped. The service is just as impressive as the atmosphere. Our first server, Cassidy, was so amazing that we specifically requested her on our second visit. As for the food, you really can't go wrong. My husband, mother-in-law, and I tried the Philly cheesesteaks and tortellini on day one, and followed it up with the baked ziti, manicotti, and broccoli Alfredo on visit number two. Our pasta entrée's came with a fresh tossed or Caesar salad, and they start you off with warm, soft bread that has the perfect crust. The portions are incredibly generous (expect leftovers!), making the pricing very reasonable. For my husband and me, our bill was only around $45 including soft drinks. We love this spot for lunch and can't wait to come back for dinner and drinks!

Let's start with the positives: They were flexible, let us change the wine for soft drinks. Despite getting there right at dinner rush, they got the food out quick. Portion sizes were good. The bad: The food itself was okay, not mind blowing. Would say the pizza was good, but it seems like we both got edge slices that seemed to be more bread than topping, luck of the draw there maybe. The dessert was the saving grace, simple and not too sweet. Overall a positive experience but i'd be more inclined to give this 3.5 if Yelp had half stars.

Sometimes it is only open for takeout and the tiny hours are limited to around the weekends for dinner. I had considered trying their Roman style pizza, but a pesto pasta special enticed me. It came with a granular, sort of cheese and a robust flavor. I thought it could've done with some fresh tomatoes on top or something of that nature to balance it out, but even as is the pasta was springy and the walnuts that came with it filling. The special soda I ordered was not available, and I got switched to a regular root beer, which to be fair was quite good.
