The bad - The chairs were sunken in the middle so it felt like you were sitting on the wood of the edges (uncomfortable), many of the calzones listed on the menu are actually strombolis and were merely okay, the pasta dishes tasted like Chef Boyardee boxed or canned heated in a microwave, tea was more like brown water, there is an unmarked step into the bathroom which came close to creating a bad fall, the wait staff was disorganized and bordered on unprofessional (drinks and food came out one or two at a time, some of us were done eating before the others even got their food and the food was not worth the wait), the menu was expansive but not in a good way (too much stuff and none done well), and everything was overpriced. All in, the bill was close to $200 and I could have ordered and enjoyed the same food from a local pizza chain for least than half the price and it would have been tastier.

We ordered a large veggie pizza and two fountain drinks. We sat down to wait, and did so for about 45 minutes, before she and the people at the table next to me were urging me to go complain about the wait. I said "No, I've worked at pizza places before and I know how hectic it can get. We'll be patient." After an hour had passed, I went up and asked how much longer it would be on our order. They had finished it, but rang it up as carry-out and didn't even announce that it was ready, in case someone was in the store waiting on it. No, they sat it aside in the back room, thinking the person just wasn't coming. After all this, all they could say was: "Welp. Sorry. We'll either remake it or refund you." That's it. No offers of making it right by any other means. Seeing as it had already been an hour, and grandma was very hungry, I decided we would go elsewhere and just get the refund. All they refunded was the pizza itself. Not even the drinks. Didn't even offer to let us take the old pizza that they were surely going to throw away anyway as some means of apology. I told them this was no way to do business and if that's how they are going to treat people who have bent over backwards to be good, patient customers when they've made a mistake like this, I wouldn't darken their door ever again. They said: "I don't appreciate your attitude. Fine! BYE!" (Exact quote.) Their prices are too high anyway. I still just can't even believe this. I am far, far from one to cause a scene or complain, and bite my tongue almost always, but this episode really infuriated me. 0/10 customer service. Then I called the store after placing my online order to speak to someone and make sure that my request was understood trying to not confuse anyone and ask that I be charged for them, to then be scolded by the asst Mgr and told they didn't give away stuff for free. If I overlooked the option to add them to my order, my bad. And don't want anything for free. But was repeatedly told that I was a deadbeat looking for a handout. This was an $88 order mind you. She refused to add them on for me despite repeatedly asking her for the love of God, just add them as a side and make sure to CHARGE me for them but I was told that all I was getting was what was already included and that they were already "giving" to me. So I lost my religion temporarily and said some things I'm not proud of, canceled the order, and haven't been back. I emailed corporate, but all I heard back was a generic auto-response from the computer system. I never got a call back from corporate, the store Mgr or the franchise owner. Thats not a good way to handle a long-time customer in my opinion. I worked with the public for many years and I always tried to take care of my customers as if I were the customer. I felt that it was worth giving away a $10 pizza to an unhappy customer once because that satisfied customer would reorder from me in the future. That assistant Mgr lost a long-time good paying, good-tipping customer over a nickel's worth of pepperoncini that I begged to be charged for. I would have fired my employee for such nonsense.
