We decided to try it anyway maybe the food was really good. Here is what we found. The good - Cannoli was delicious, pizzas were well made and tasted good. The bad - The chairs were sunken in the middle so it felt like you were sitting on the wood of the edges (uncomfortable), many of the calzones listed on the menu are actually strombolis and were merely okay, the pasta dishes tasted like Chef Boyardee boxed or canned heated in a microwave, tea was more like brown water, there is an unmarked step into the bathroom which came close to creating a bad fall, the wait staff was disorganized and bordered on unprofessional (drinks and food came out one or two at a time, some of us were done eating before the others even got their food and the food was not worth the wait), the menu was expansive but not in a good way (too much stuff and none done well), and everything was overpriced. All in, the bill was close to $200 and I could have ordered and enjoyed the same food from a local pizza chain for least than half the price and it would have been tastier.

Ignore the few reviews that talk about scratched tables and old furniture. Yes, it is an old building that has been serving great food for obviously a long time. Who care about older tables if it is clean and serviceable. The calzones are huge. On the advise of the waitress, we only ordered the medium to split and we could barely finish it. Our salads were fresh and large.

She went through the trouble of marking everything on her iPad that I did not want, (relating they did not have carrots or tomatoes) and then again asked me what dressing I wanted. I believe if she had stayed a bit more focused and listened, (and told us upfront there wasn't a sample size of sauce), it would've been a better experience, (waitress wise, even though she was pleasant).
