I told her I wanted a natural brown highlight that maintained my previous color and she made me feel so beautiful by the time we were done! I don't know how she did it, but she blended my brown highlight into my natural dark black hair to compliment my skin tone perfectly. It wasn't brassy, not reddish, it is this perfect shade that looks natural and still beautiful when it grows out. I also enjoyed talking to her throughout our session! When I pull up I see a text - no apology, nothing, at 605pm "it's Easter Sunday I can't make it tonight I can fit you in tomorrow". WHY would she agree to that appointment if Easter was a problem? Also she had 3 whole days to figure that out! And let me know!! This was also her appointment to "make it up to me". THEN SHE BLOCKED ME!! My texts were coming back green and when I called it went to voicemail so I had my boyfriend text her and it came back blue... I knew she blocked me. I have been nothing but understanding, kind and a loyal customer up until this point even though she's canceled on me multiple times leading up to this. She was also asked to leave her last salon so I think I might know why. I wouldn't go near her ever again. I've had more respectful interactions with the worst people. For now I will make super dark roots and platinum blonde hair the new TREND till I find someone else.

She asked a LOT of questions that I wasn't sure of (square or round in the back? How far up w the #3?). I told her I trust her. She spent a good amount of time on the haircut then asked a lot of questions about color. I am in from San Diego and had no idea how to answer. She did not skip a beat and went right to it with a color I "agreed" on. She was methodical on getting the color in everywhere. Then set me aside to wait. My place in San Diego has me sit for 10-15 minutes. After 30, I told her I need to see my mom at 12 and have to get rolling. She told me "3 more minutes". I was patient. Well, this is one of the best colors I've had. Great compliments from my mom and sister (who are quick to heckle me). My stylist obviously had excellent training. I was hesitant throughout but my attitude is always, it will grow back out. Ha. Now I don't want it to grow out.
