This time Simran told me it would cost $160 for a trim...so I cancelled the trim. I was originally scheduled for color and cut and to be out by 12:45. She was done with my hair (without trim) by 12:35. It's crazy that an extra 10 min would cost me over $160 Also, after washing the color out of my hair, I was asked if I wanted a blowout.... Oooof! I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Citrus Salon yesterday. I called ahead to ask if the stylist had experience with extensions, and the receptionist assured me she did. Unfortunately, when I arrived and she started washing my hair, it was clear that she had no extension experience at all. At that point, I honestly wish I'd left, but I stayed hopeful. What was supposed to be a blowout turned into a rough dry--if you know hair, you know there's a big difference between the two. The styling was a disaster. The stylist seemed visibly stressed and frustrated with the extensions, and the curls weren't holding. I politely asked if another stylist could help, since I had an event later that night, but was told no one else was available. One of the other stylists came over and showed her a technique, but she was unable to replicate it. I even asked if she could just straighten my hair since it would've been easier, but she refused because part of my hair was already curled. In the end, I asked if I could leave with it half done so I could finish it myself, and she asked me to stay longer. I ended up paying the full amount and tipping, but I'm honestly disgusted by how subpar the service was. I feel completely lied to and like I wasted my money on a service I didn't receive. At least my hair is now clean- but it was definitely not a "blowout". I should've just gone to Drybar. I unfortunately won't be coming back here. :( read more

Bryce! Bryce! Bryce! I couldn't recommend a stylist more. I have been seeing Bryce for years. He is talented, honest, and a wonderful person. Within the last year, I experienced a personal tragedy/loss, and Bryce has been a bright spot in my grief. He is hilarious and supportive, and I always leave looking and feeling good about myself. The best part is going home looking beautiful and watching my husband stare at me for hours on the days after my hair appointments with Bryce. Our hairstylists truly are caretakers, and I couldn't recommend a better human to trust with your hair, precious time, and self-care. Citrus Salon is also a lovely place. It is airy and zen. ME TOO! Adam is the absolute best stylist I've ever had and now it's come to this: I will travel hundreds of miles for him to do my hair.
