The assistant manager was my attendant and she did well with her pics-I REALLY had thought I had already seen beautiful dresses before my appointment here as I had been to two other stores and tried on a ton of dresses! Unlike other stores you don't walk through the dresses and pick you explain what you are looking for and they bring out dresses in your price range to try on. Each dress was beautiful!! I mean MORE beautiful that ones I had seen at the other stores! Needless to say I found my wedding dress and am very happy I waited till I went to Bella's-I would recommend coming here for sure! I went to pick up a dress for my little sister who is going to be in a quince and the sales lady was SO RUDE. I did not feel welcome in that boutique, I was going to stay and look around and possibly buy a dress but I'm going elsewhere because the customer service was poor. It's not hard to be nice and helpful especially when that's suppose to be your job. Soda in hand? Seriously? I think you have me confused with someone else... y'all sound so unprofessional! Adored Reagan! Had our first day of appts today to shop for dresses and Reagan was our consultant- she was a delight from the first moment. She listened to our needs.. and in the matter of 80/90 min she systematically helped our future bride find the dress of her dreams for her very special day. For both the MOB and MOG we enjoyed the area to observe try-ons and the professionalism and the attention to detail that Reagan provided while pulling dresses to suit the bride. Had a scheduled appointment for my daughter to look at wedding dresses. What should have been a light hearted event with lots of love and laughter quickly turned into a nightmare. Yes, we were greeted nicely at the front door and told it would be just a few minutes before our consultant would be with us-not a problem. We were quickly moved to a table and handed an iPad to look through dresses and told to mark down the ones she would like to try on/look at. She picked about six dresses as the majority of the dresses where mermaid/second skin dresses and although most were beautiful they are not meant for a girl who wears a larger size. The consultant did not seem happy to see us and did not make us feel very welcome. She even told my daughter she would not put her in a dress that she felt would not flatter her and that she was not like the other girls who would say anything to sell a dress. Needless to say my daughter tried in four dresses- two she liked and two the consultant liked. After the fourth dress we agreed it was time to leave even though we still had time left in our appointment. I don't recommend this shop simply based on customer service. Also go look at the reviews and then the replies by Bella's --it's NEVER THEIR FAULT according to them it's always the customer's fault. read more

Bella's helped me find a dress after an extremely horrible situation from another boutique. I'm so thankful for them! There was a great dress selection and I was even able to walk out with the dress the same day. I cannot thank Bella's enough. Disappointed in lack of choices I am an offbeat bride. My wedding is day of the dead Spanish Mexican fiesta (not scary). I have never felt like an Offbeat bride or that I was different until I went to 4 different bridal shops in 2 states. This shop was the worst about making me feel bad about being different. I have bought a dress before when I was overwhelmed and pressured into it. SO this time I went into buying a dress prepared. I had a list of dresses from the designers they list on their website. This list was tossed aside. The shop has the same old lace and ball gowns you could find any wear. Nothing different and fun and not a lot of help finding it. I spent an hour with a consultant who was nice but new. The manger had nothing I wanted and wasn't really willing to go out of their way to help me find it. read more

Bad Experience. i was a bride that already had a dress, but brought my daughter, a bridesmaid, in to get a dress. i was visiting family and wanted them part of this experience. sadly, it wasn't a nice experience at all. first, i found information on the internet that was apparently incorrect about a line they carried. no big deal, i didn't fuss. What was really annoying was i had to help my daughter with her dress while the sales gal stood there. Then the owner interrupted and wanted the incorrect information from the internet so she could correct it, interrupting our looking at dresses. It was chaotic and we didn't get any help. my daughter did find the dress! but it wasn't credit to the people in the store. read more

Living in Lubbock and getting married, my wife went wedding dress shopping and ended up finding a dress she loved and we bought it from Bella's. When the dress arrived, it didn't fit her in her hips even though she had her measurements taken there. The response by the owner was that she NEEDED TO LOSE WEIGHT and said they couldn't replace/exchange the dress. For an occasion that is supposed to be so happy, Bella's basically did all they could (short of losing the dress) to ruin the experience of purchasing her dress. We ended up having to spend a ton to alter the dress due to the lack of any sort of accommodations from Bella's. I would avoid this place like the plague. read more

I had a memorable experience here. I made an appointment about a week out and told them that I was a military bride and needed a dress for my wedding in two days. They were super accommodating to me making sure they pulled out all the dresses I wanted to try. Laura was my consultant and she was simply fabulous. She knew so much about every dress. By the end, she brought out one more that I just knew I wouldn't like but it ended be "the one." A little out of my price range but I couldn't leave there without it so my family split it three ways. I worked with Stephanie and she was great. The dressing room and spaces were very comfortable and there was no pressure to "buy immediately" which I appreciated. I did end up returning to purchase my favorite dress, but didn't feel guilty for taking the time to think about it. I would have appreciated more guidance than I was given in picking out dresses. Essentially, at the beginning of my appointment, my family and I were left alone with a giant book of pictures and told to pick out what we wanted to try on. Especially since I was looking for a cheaper dress, the fact that none of the dresses were labeled with a price was challenging. read more

Cindy is hands down, the most knowledgeable person in the bridal business in a 300 mile radius. And the main staff of Bre, Erica and Stephanie are the best at what they do. They are honest about dress availability, shipping times and quality of garments. They will go to great lengths to see that the customer is satisfied. No other store in town (or in the area) has the quality or selection of dresses and accessories. Whether you are shopping for bridal or special occasion, go and see the ladies at Bella's. They were just rude, wouldn't hear me out. it was an automatic no. I was sat down at a table so I could look at the selection and immediately found several dresses I loved. Went to try on and really felt like the consultant was listening to my needs. We made a day trip to drive in to Lubbock and made it a point to get to Bella's five minutes after they opened. The day before we called to make sure we didn't have to have an appointment and we were assured that all though they did take appointments for specific times, they worked on a first come first serve basis. We arrived five minutes after opening and were the only customers in the store. We were sat at a table, handed a tablet and VERY rudely told we had been misinformed about the first come first serve policy. We were allowed to scroll through the website but were not allowed to try on any dresses not even for the bridesmaids and mother of the bride, the bride couldn't even browse the floor. WOW! I had such a GREAT time at Bella's. The staff are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I have shopped with these ladies for ten plus years now, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. All of my daughters have found their banquet and prom dresses at Bella's. All three have come back to find their wedding dresses here as well. All of the gowns were of the best quality, I have not been able to find better in Lubbock. I have read the reviews for Bella's on this page and I am astounded at the negative feedback and what I can only imagine are lies. I have never experienced anything below outstanding service at Bella's, nor have my friends and their daughters who have frequented there. Bellas owner and manager singlehandedly ruined my wedding planning process and almost my wedding. They did not finish alterations on my bridesmaids and tore a hole in my wedding dress. They didn't not offer to help and practically kicked me out of their store. I do not recommend this business to anybody! read more

I had a pretty good experience here after coming from a disaster trip from David's Bridal. I had read on google reviews that they aren't nice to bigger women... I wear a size 12 in jeans which is a lot bigger in the bridal world... I also had a limited budget (1000 or less).... the sales lady was hesitant at first and said I would have less selection but quickly pulled 5 dresses. I fell in love with the third one and was ready for a purchase.... the only advice I have to give is to work on how sales people/manager act. They DO come off as "upity" but I just reminded myself they have sales positions and aren't any better than the brides that come in to pay their salaries. Since I was buying a piece off the floor I wanted to barter a bit (not custom ordered) and I'm guessing it was the manager,,,, she seemed offended. There are nice ways to say no without making your customer feel put off (definately the upity came out of her)... To her saving grace her staff (our sales lady) was so superb I could look past the arrogance and appreciate the great service she gave us. read more
