    Ms. S.

I've shopped at this Goodwill store for many years, and found wonderful treasures. The last two times I went to shop however I had to turn around and leave due to no parking available. For those who are unaware, the City of Lynnwood has purchased the property that the Goodwill store is currently leasing, their lease ends in 2030. The City plans to install a new City park once they destroy the current building. The adjacent property next to the Goodwill which is currently under construction was purchased by American Capital Group (ACG). They are building a large building with ground level retail spaces and apartments. The proposal from ACG indicates that they will provide access to 30 additional parking spaces once construction has impacted the availability of Goodwill parking spaces . To date ACG has not provided the additional parking spaces which has greatly impacted the stores ability to operate as they cannot provide sufficient parking for their customers. I understand that these buildings are aging and the recent light rail installation has created an opportunity and need to better support the community with necessary housing and green space. I am disappointed however that the City and ACG have not supported the non-profit business during this transition. Goodwill brings many jobs and community support to the City of Lynnwood. Do your part City of Lynnwood and ACG, keep your promises.

    A large store.

This Goodwill is a little out of the way, but on the plus side, there are two other thrift stores located across the parking lot: Finding Treasures and Bella's Voice. So it's a three-for-one stop if you make it up here! I was surprised at how big this store was inside. It has a good selection of clothes and shoes, especially women's, and a large kitchen/housewares department, although the furniture area is kind of small and ratty-looking. This location feels older and somewhat run-down, but it's pretty clean and well-organized overall. Like all Seattle Goodwills, there are holiday sales and colored tag discounts, and prices are reasonable. I didn't see much of the Target clearance-salvage inventory here on my last visit, like some other stores -- Shoreline is probably better for that if you're up north. If you stop in, don't forget to swing by Finding Treasures and Bella's Voice while you're there!

Melissa & Doug shopping cart. Amazon price: $55.99. Goodwill Lynnwood: $12.99.

WAY too expensive at a store where every single item is donated to them. The owner is worth billions. Disgraceful.

We used to really like Bella's Voice and shopped there regularly after moving to Lynnwood in 2024…read more We have spent close to $3,000. That changed with one visit which occurred a month ago. Look at the photos for the condition of a rug they sold. At the Shoreline store, I purchased a rug that was tightly rolled and sealed with tape, so there was no way to inspect it at the store. When I got it home and opened it, it was in unacceptable condition: heavily stained, paint marks, and a strong cigarette odor. This is not an item that should have been on the sales floor. I brought it back within a week with the tag attached and receipt in hand. The manager Leonora did not start by looking at the condition. Instead, she went straight to finding reasons to deny the return. First saying there was no tag (there was), then saying they don't accept returns on "furniture." At no point did she engage with the actual issue. When I tried to show her why I was returning it, another employee inserted herself and escalated the interaction. I did raise my voice out of frustration (my voice carries) but I made no threats and was trying to explain a legitimate issue. Rather than hearing the concern or working toward a solution, the situation escalated quickly. The manager told me to leave or the police would be called for CRIMINALLY TRESSPASSING, and that is exactly what happened. Police were called over a return. I tried to de-escalate and offered reasonable solutions (exchange or completing my purchase), but the manager declined and stayed focused on denying the return and calling the police to have us removed for CRIMINAL TRESSPASSING! Even the responding officer looked at the rug and attempted to find an amicable resolution. My daughter, who was not involved in the interaction, was also threatened with trespass, which was upsetting and unnecessary. This should have been straightforward customer service: 1. The item was not in acceptable condition and the condition was against their own donation policy. 2. It was packaged in a way that prevented inspection 3. A reasonable review could have resolved it Instead, it escalated into a situation involving publicly funded law enforcement over a defective item. As a nonprofit serving the community, I would expect a greater emphasis on resolving issues directly rather than relying on public resources to shut down a legitimate concern. For a place called Bella's Voice, it was surprising how quickly the conversation was shut down. The executive director has chosen to ignore my formal complaint. Photos are attached so others can judge the condition for themselves.

I absolutely love thrifting and I'm mildly upset that I didn't find out about Bella's Voice sooner!…read moreIt is, without a doubt, my new go-to for second-hand goodies, especially because it's so close to me. I believe all proceeds also go to animal welfare, so this place is a win-win. Store & Selection: (5/5) Upon entering, it's definitely smaller than most thrift stores I've gone to, especially compared to big names like Value Village and Goodwill. Do not let that turn you off! The selection here is AMAZING and I love how the racks are organized by size and color. I think I've walked out with an armful of stuff each time I've gone. Service: (5/5) Everyone here is really nice and they make checking out very quick. Other notes: Not sure exactly how their discount system works and how often it changes, but all their stuff is tagged by color for a corresponding discount. This place is definitely cheaper than other thrift stores, which is great if you're in a pinch.

Love this place! The commercials are right on about the prices and the selections you can find :)…read more Coming here can be a bit dangerous, especially if you're only planning to find one thing you'll walk out of the store with a bag full of... goodies. For those who want to avoid the long line during hectic shopping hours, I would go during a weekday and in the morning.

I was in this location Monday and witnessed the most horrific, embarassing display of non-customer…read moreservice. I came on here to see if the poor woman involved left a review regarding how she was treated, but unfortunately I dont see she has. The fellow customers in line in front and behind me were also appalled at the way the manager and her friend, a cashier, treated this poor woman. I wont say too much, I will let the victim tell her story if she chooses, I can only give my perception. But if corporate ever checks these reviews, please know that manager on Monday, June 15th and the cashier who speaks the same language (European) were treating a well dressed, well spoken, well kept, kind, patient, honest customer with such judgement, dirty looks, and spoke in their language, more than obviously about her, for more than 15 minutes in front of her. Also proceeded to speak badly of her AFTER she left the store, in front of the rest of us customers. The group of us heard the issue the customer had, she explained it to the manager and we all witnessed the play out because there was only 1 other cashier so the line began to build when the manager came up to address the situation which had a very simple resolution. But this manager decided to make things an issue, when there wasnt one, ridicule this customer per item and reject helping her. If I was that customer, I would have walked out immediately after being treated the way they discounted and degraded her. Im still shocked over a day later and its weighed so heavy on my heart how embarrassing it must have been for that customer. I am infuriated the manager is allowed to have a personal relationship so close with her cashiers that they speak of customers IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE in front of the customer, while giving her demeaning glances and looks as though she was beneath the worst of the unhoused and addiction driven thieves that plaque the stores now a days. Im never returning to this location and the other customers who were also disgusted by the behavior made similiar comments of "we like the Shoreline location better anyway. This is just wrong! Is she really doing this to her when there is a line this long?" So it sounds like a few customers will be going elsewhere. The manager truly made a huge issue out of nothing. Upper management, retrain your managers to not be so disrespectful, to not speak in gossiping fashion in other languages in front of customers and not treat every situation as a scam or fraud. That poor woman didnt deserve that treatment. Shame on you! Remember, the universe delivers back to you what you put out!
