I got what i ordered and it tasted great!. I order a very simple coffee, americano, but it is the best way to taste what coffee taste like and in my opinion best way to judge a good roast. A bit slow but there seems to be only one person running the show most of the time. read more

The location here next to the breezeway is great. It gives it a cool feeling during the middle of the summer in Bend. The coffee shop is reminiscent of a larger chain, the menu is well thought out and the service is very friendly. The baristas are all quick and easily show their committment to quality. These are the things I like about a coffee shop. There are only a couple of things I don't like about it. First up, the coffee. We must of visited on a day where quality control was out because it was burned; not as I expected. The pricing was kind of high...the creative ambiance is not always good enough. I'm sure that this place has it's loyal clientele and thats a good thing. It's just not the best in Bend. read more

Bellatazza- The original birthplace of extraordinary coffee and espresso in downtown Bend. Bellatazza will always have a place in my heart for educating me about excellent espresso, and coffee drinks. It is still capable of producing great drinks efficiently, but I think it was even more quality a few years back. Definitely worth checking out for anybody who is exploring downtown Bend, or even Central Oregon. My favorite drink is a double 8oz americano, with lots of room and whip cream. While Bend, like many PNW cities, appears to have an abundance of coffee options, this is one worth seeking out while in downtown Bend. A huge variety of coffee drinks - a local friend of mine ordered a doppio cadrona and the baristas didn't bat an eye. Friendly service, efficient staff and good coffee make this one to come back to. Foodwise, I've only ordered shortbread and smaller items that they get from the Village Bakery - but then again, why would you care about the food at a coffee shop? read more

When I'm in town this is a perfectly located place to have meetings and the best coffee in town. Service is impeccable, the barista are helpful with no pretentious attitudes. Depending on the mood I order house coffee, soy chai or an Italian soda. All are delicious all the time. The house coffee switches out almost every day so you get to try different varietals and experience things you normally wouldn't. I don't know that this is the best coffee in Bend, but it's good coffee, the staff is friendly, and the outdoor tables provide one of the best of locations for enjoying a nice day downtown and doing some people watching. For speciality coffee beverages there are probably places in town that do a better job than here, but I'm a "coffee black" person most of the time and this works well to get my caffeine fix on the days when outdoor ambiance is also a priority. read more

I've been coming in here for years, today was the first time I've experience such horrible service. Not even a thank you and both females looked liked they may have had a terrible morning. Other than today, I would have given your business *****! Not very busy and the tables were not cleaned. When I come in again if these two are working I will go to Gordan, he's nice all the time. Very rude staff. Entered the coffee shop and got yelled at while not wearing a mask. Sorry, was pulling it out of my pocket to put it on, honest mistake. Then Attempted to use the restroom prior to ordering and again was yelled at "are you planning on ordering?". When I said yes, I was then offered the restroom code. Went here on 08/11/16 at about 11:30. Waiter was rude and coffee was disgusting. Perhaps we came here on a bad day, but this place really isn't 4 1/2 stars: not sure how that happens. My wife and I stumbled upon this place after our original selection wasn't open at 7:30 a.m. Really? A coffee place not open at 7:30 a.m. On a Saturday morning? I'm not going to name that place because I'm giving them a chance to redeem themselves tomorrow. Anyway, back to Bellatazza. I had a standard white mocha and it was on par with Starbucks. It could have been a bit stronger so next time I'll get a white mocha americano to get the extra shot of espresso. The location is right in the heart of downtown Bend so it's perfect. We will definitely go here again when we come back for another visit! read more

Their coffee is amazing. We had a large party and went in on Christmas and the customer service was great. From the peppermint mochas to dirty chais they were exquisitely made and were used as the place to beat for coffee the rest of our trip. read more

07/16/2014 Update: I just spoke with the owner and I have to offer props and kudos for his responsiveness to my review. He contacted me almost immediately and has offered to go WAY above and beyond to provide a better coffee experience the next time I am in town. I look forward to meeting him and enjoying what will no doubt be a far better cup. I will be back and will continue to give business to a local business owner who cares so much about offering a great product with excellent customer service. What a disappointment! For a Bend favorite, I really expected better. I ordered two, 16 oz, Iced Americanos, sweetened with honey. I was charged $7.10 for the drinks (yes, you read that right, $7.10 for what equated to 4 shots of espresso, ice, water, and about 2 Tbl of honey) because they charged extra for the honey....what?? According to the clerk, honey is a "flavoring." I order this drink all the time at other coffee establishments and never get charged extra, this was just bizarre. Anyway, the barista did not bother to stir the honey into the hot espresso before pouring the ice on it, so our honey just sat in the bottom of the cup, nice and hard. Honestly, I expected better from such a popular coffee shop. I'll probably pass on my iced Americano next time if my only choice in the area is Bellatazza. read more

A great coffee shop that shows the best Bend has to offer. Very very friendly baristas, nice atmosphere, definitely top notch. And to boot you get one of the best WiFi connections in the downtown area and that is critical for any coffee shop these days. MAKE LOCAL HABIT. The owner does just that. He is a part of the community. He is the original coffee house in Bend in fact. He is in the heart of downtown for a reason, quietly at the center of it all as he should be. You can't grow coffee here so he has made himself a part of the community where his coffee grows as well. Bellatazza has good specialty coffee and a great downtown location. They're an awesome part of the Bend culture, but the service is consistently bad. The coffee and the tea are good, and I hate to cover up the foam art. I recommend grabbing a coffee and enjoying it in Drake Park. read more

I've been here twice in the past week and really love the vibe of this place. Their loose leaf selection is excellent, and their maple cinnamon scone tastes just like pancakes-- yum!
