I wish I could give a 1/2 star. I only write reviews when the service was beyond expectations or well below acceptable. I went here on last Monday just to get a clean-up of my brows. I've been a few times when I'm not able to go to my preferred spot. This time the lady that did my brows, who I later learned was the owner, had the job of cleaning me up. She moved from my right brow to my left and the thread popped and her nail scratched my face between my brow and my hairline. Of course I was startled. She explained that she was trying to remove a difficult hair and it popped. She said she apologized so I will give her the benefit of my doubt. I asked her if the older lady with the glasses could complete the service for me and she allowed her to remove the one hair that she claims was causing an issue. Afterwards, she gave me the mirror and asked if I wanted aloe on my brows. I said Okay but I noticed that my left brow wasn't even close to the look of the right and neither of them were clean. She stated that she wasn't finished but saw that I was irritated and decided to stop. Please tell me how are you going to know that you popped the thread, scratched me, and knew that the service was not complete and was okay with that enough to give me a mirror and aloe. She said that I asked for the older woman to finish the service but she was the owner and she's the one who trained her. She asked if I wanted her to fix it but after the experience and the conversation, why would I? Then she asked if I wanted to get a frequent guest card or use one that I had. I told her no because I wouldn't come back. My bad in all this is that I was so upset that I moved from that point on auto-pilot as the older lady who had done no harm to me cashed me out. I paid and, again on auto-pilot, gave a $2 tip. I thought about it as I walked to my car but decided that my energy had already been spent and I knew a refund would have been a task. I knew that once I calmed down, I would make my experience known on Yelp. I've never received exceptional service the 4 times I visited the shop but it wasn't horrible until Monday. I see others have had a great experience there so I would say enter at your own risk. read more

I came to Belle Brows for threading after a nearby shop botched my eye brows. I waited a month for them to grow in then stopped by Belle Brows. They did a fantastic job of repairing the damage. Sorry Yelpers, this place has gone downhill. I've been going for six months and great experience, eyebrows on fleek, rest of face flawless. There is an old woman, with glasses, who will spritz hand sanitizer in your hand when she gets you in her chair. If you get her, RUN!!! I get full face threading. She pulled off my eyebrow skin, scarring me, barely got my chin, and left obvious cheek and chin whiskers. How she missed all that, I have no idea. The one star is because the younger ladies were good, but it seems the really good lady left, so we are stuck with the old lady. I sat in her chair yesterday, then remembered my last painful experience and bolted out the door before she even started. Yeah, it was awkward and she called out asking if something was wrong as I ran out the door, but I'd rather that then go through the torture she put my skin through the last time I sat in her chair. Onto another threading studio today. read more
