My hygienist Megan was very pleasant and took her time during my cleaning which I appreciate, knowing that I was her last client of the day. Dr. Maddox came and did my exam and she was sooo sweet! She took her time to explain the one concern she had, and did not book me for unnecessary work, but instead gave me prevention measures to follow. On my last return visit she wildly started drilling and filing down neighboring teeth without any numbing whatsoever. She didn't care that I kept wincing. She "joked" that she didn't want to see me again for this tooth. Gladly! I'm never coming back and I'm having it fixed by a proper dentist. Avoid this place!

I found Dr Gross to be a direct communicator who wants to make sure she educates people on their teeth and how to care for them better. I didn't feel like I was just another mouth to work on there. She and the rest of the staff truly made me feel like I mattered, and fixing my teeth really mattered. By the end of the treatment I honestly wanted to hug her. After being told I needed 7 inlays by one dentist and 4…read morecrowns by another when I was having absolutely no problems with my teeth, Dr. Wilson was recommended by a retired dentist as a caring dentist who would work with me to CONSERVE my teeth. And he has done so in the most patient and caring way. Part of my desire to avoid unnecessary dental work is because over the past 10 years, I have become developed heat and cold sensitivity of my teeth and intolerant of any vibration (polishing) on my teeth. One dentist aborted drilling because I could not tolerate the sound and sensation even after being fully numb. Dr. Wilson did a thorough assessment and while he said some of my fillings were showing signs of wear, there was no immediate need for action. A year later, there were a few areas that needed attention. For the cleaning last week, there was a neck pillow to take the tension out of my neck, the rinse water was warmed and the polishing was done quickly. An overall excellent experience. For the 3 areas that needed attention, we decided to do it in 2 appointments. Today, I took valium one hour prior to the procedure, used nitrous, and pumped Adele into my AirPods to help block the drill noise. The work was not extensive, but I felt nothing. I was ecstatic and relieved. I will use the same plan for my next visit in 3 weeks. I drive an hour to Warner Parks Family Dental and would gladly drive 2 hours for this exemplary care focused on my needs.

I missed my appointment because there was a fatal car accident on I-40. I called while sitting in my car literally parked on Highway 70 and told them what happened. Since traffic wasn't moving, there was no way to make it to their office within the allotted 15 minute window they impose. Now, I have received a bill for $50 for my missed appointment. I am looking for a different dentist. I will NEVER go back to this office. A physician's office that doesn't have compassion, doesn't deserve my business.

VISIT THIS OFFICE WITH EXTREME CAUTION: I visited this office in response to an emergency dental…read morerepair in my front tooth, which chipped and cracked. I came back as they recommended another appointment to treat. Both appointments were scheduled, then called me back to reschedule each after another patient took my spot, so keeping a schedule is an issue. After waiting in the chair for an hour, the hygienists and dentist said they wouldn't worry about that tooth and said it's very strong and won't break, though already being cracked. Instead, they redirected our focus to a plan for six tooth repairs in the back, along with root canals, extractions and bridges: thousands in repairs with a couple referrals and $2,000 at other offices up front, with more repairs going into next year, as week as treating more teeth. Now, the initial tooth I asked about in the front tooth cracked in half and remains an emergency and not repaired. I just wanted an office I could trust that listened to my simple concern and addressed it with a repair. I know it's a business and those teeth might have meant a lot more money, but I wanted to address the cracked tooth which was the emergency. Now, I'm really in an emergency situation from not insisting on what I came in for. The dentist was initially nice, hygienists/assistants even more so, but when she asked about where I'd been considering having work done (where three other personal friends had great, verifiable results) she said she could tell me all kinds of horror stories about them, "thousands of people"... I just wanted my teeth fixed and feel naive for the having the trust that led me to ignore the reason for my visit, resulting in my current situation. I'm sure it's a great clinic for a lot of people but maybe just be insistent on what you need if it's an emergency. UPDATE: After trying to address this issue for the 4th time with the dentist, she only cared about leaving a "mean and hateful review" above. She shouted at me over the phone for 15 minutes only wanting to talk about the review she solicited twice. I left a review with my honest experience as I was asked to, but was very disturbed by this shouting tirade of emotional outbursts. From a dentist that neglected my initial concern multiple times, even as an emergency, to "thousands of horror stories" about the competition, her shouting response to "I trusted you as a dentist to fix the emergency problem I came in for" was "you shouldn't have listened and insisted we fix it". Not only would I not recommend this office, I would be careful about working with them under those circumstances. I'd never expect that kind of treatment or response from a "care provider" especially shouting, vengeful tirades for 15 minutes just because you wanted the care you came in for.
