Skin tags and cherry angiomas super are annoying to look at especially when they are on my face. I love checking out a good Groupon deal and saw that Belle La Vie was doing a special on $16 for the removal of 1 skin tag, mole or cherry angioma, and 2 removals for $20. Since I had one skin tag on my left eyelid and a cherry angioma under my right, I decided to give this laser treatment a shot. My husband was dubious about the whole thing, but he knows that when I get my mind set on something, I will follow through and try it out. The appointment process was surprisingly quick. I called on Friday evening, they had an opening the next day, so off I went to Tempe today. The office is cute, nicely tucked behind a temple. The signage was a little obscure, but make sure you look for Suite 5. It faces the street. The receptionist was very pleasant. I filled out some medical forms, waivers and treatment aftercare sheets. Then Jamie brought me into the treatment room. The bed was super comfortable and looked like a massage table sans the headrest. I almost wished I was getting a massage. Jamie explained the procedures to me. They were using a high frequency laser to treat my 2 areas. Being near the eyes, she said that it might be a little more sensitive that other areas of the body. While she used the same tool to address both the areas, the approach was slightly different. She was going to dehydrate the cherry angioma, and she was going to address the surface of the skin tag on my eye because there was no stalk. She informed me that the cherry angioma might need another treatment because it was slightly large and may need 2 or 3 treatments for the cells to fully be removed. She asked if I was ready and off we went. The treatment felt like little sparky, pin-pricks on my face and eyelid, like fast acupuncture needles being inserted. However, it was incredibly quick. Each site took less than 5 minutes. I was to expect a flaky scab and then it will fall off. I will have to wait 30 days for the site to fully heal before I can have another treatment on the same site. However, I might not need another treatment. I was arrived at 11:55 am for my 12:00 pm and was out by 12:20 pm. Thank you, Jamie and Belle La Vie Med Spa. P/S Don't forget to tip like you would when you receive a spa service. read more

I was a little nervous and honestly shy, but she was so kind and professional. Does it hurt, yep but not too bad LOL. I definitely plan on being a long term customer here. I had came in for a follow up procedure I had here, was informed the person who treated me was no longer there. Got there and was completely made to feel like I was wasting the doctor and/or staff member time and before even looking at my procedure was told NOPE I CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITH THAT. Christine is amazing. Prior to meeting her, I had tried different laser treatments, most were unsuccessful and all were painful. So painful, that even with numbing cream, it was barely tolerable. Christine explained the difference between lasers and I gave it a try. To my surprise, not only was the treatment a complete success but no numbing cream was needed. I have now successfully treated multiple areas of my body over the last couple of years and have said, "good bye" to razors for good. Stay away from this spa! Rude & selfish are the 2 words that come to mind on this owner. This spa is not flexible with their appointments either booking or keeping them- I have been to many many spas over the last 25 years and I have never experienced such blatant disregard for a customer's schedule and need for service. I had an appt scheduled in the afternoon. As I was driving to the appt, I get a cancellation text- 7 minutes after the time scheduled! Are you kidding me?!!!! I don't even get a call...nooo..a text that doesn't ask me if I am on my way? ( I was outside the front door) As I open the door, I literally almost bump into Christine & her tech, Jamie. They had already closed the office down and had their purses in hand to walk out the door...7 minutes after my appt time!!! Ladies! I couldn't believe it. I said to Christine, Wow- you do not know how to run a courteous business that caters to women. Women have busy lives- how about at least a call to see if I am coming would have been nice- even a text that asks if I am on my way... 7 minutes after ? No, not here! These 2 ladies wanted to get the heck out and go home ! I felt ridiculously awkward in their place of business..looking at them with all their gear to go home, not even 15 minutes into my appt time...they must have closed shop 1 minute after the appt time!!!!! Christine said she has "early Wednesdays" and has her son to pick up. Really? I have kids too and I would never use that as a reason to be so rude to your customers. If you can't pamper a client at the onset & make them feel welcomed and relaxed, you have no business being in this industry. Don't waste your time ladies!!! read more
