Ok not gonna lie....we gotta yelper here...literally! But what's pleasure without pain?...in any area. But it's a 5-second ish pain. I've gotten just a few areas done. How does it feel? Well if you were punished as a kid with a skinny tree branch, it kinda feels like that. Or I would describe it as rubber bands snapping back at your skin....buttttt just depends on how far that rubber band was stretched back. Each area responds to pain differently. And also depends on how wimpy you are. You will cry less if your hair is shorter, thinner, and lighter. Adjustments are made dependent upon your skin type. Make sure you do not tan in areas where you'll be getting laser done. Everyone's results are different. You have to get it done about 6 times roughly. I have had to do more than 6 times, which means it's 50% off thereafter. You are in and out the door in 5 minutes. The techs here are pretty good at what they do! So just sit back, relax, and pray you will not be the guy next door who was a true yelper!! I couldn't help but giggle and LOL. He was yelping a few times! (Sorry! Not sorry!!) But props to him!!! Ive been here several times, but this time was not a good experience The girl who did my treatment was no longer there so i had another tech do the treatment but didnt have the same results i had the last couple times My bumps and ingrown hairs started to appear again and once the treatment was over and time to pay i hot hit with 79.00 for just the back of my legs (and i mean just the thigh part not below the knee) when i used to just pay 45.00 before Apparently they say the last tech was under charging me and that 79.00 was the correct amount. Mmmmm i questioned that and she lowered the amount to 57.00 says that she'll give me a discount because i was there a total of three times. What ? I guess okay I will never go back there again. I've done laser before and let's just say it was the most uncomfortable experience I've ever been through. Hello laser was a totally different world, the experience is A+ every time. This is a follow up to my earlier review. on 4/5/2012. I just went to my second appointment with L for L and I am loving it! This time, I was only flushed for about 2 hours, and it didn't hurt nearly as much. No blistering, either. My technician, Lindsay Black, was extra careful as I told her about my last painful experience. She also made sure to zap the fine hairs on the back of my forearms. Lindsay was very professional and did not rush although they were running about 10 minutes behind today. She got both arms done in about 20 minutes. I have almost no hair regrowth at this point and my skin is so soft. I only wish I had gone to L for L years ago instead of bothering with waxing, bleaching, and shaving for so long. read more

Update: after 2 weeks it was clear that spots were missed. Or didn't respond to the laser. I recommend calling if that happens to you. They have a great touch up policy but there are time restraints on it (logically so. Can't be doing touch ups just bc everyone is impatient and sees actual growth). Gotta say, this place is great! I had LHR done approx 15yrs ago, and the process has come a long way since then. Fifteen yrs ago I had my bikini area done and it took about 15-20 min each time I came in, and it took about 4 visits. I had such great success with it that I decided to get my underarms done. I tried to find the place I went to last time but couldn't remember the name (possible name change by new owners). After reading tons of reviews on LFL, I decided to go with them. I had my first appt with LFL on 5/21/14. First I have to say that I have read many comments on here saying there is minimal pain. For me, it was painless! I remember brief pain last time I had it done (sort of like a match being held to your skin and as soon as you feel the heat, it goes away, so it made my eyes water here and there but that's about it). This time, NOTHING! As a matter of fact, when she started, I asked her what she was doing. She seemed a little confused, so I asked her if she started? She said "yes." I couldn't believe that what she had just done was the process, so I think I asked her the same question two more times and each time she replied with a yes. I couldn't believe it!! It was nothing! This is the best way I can explain the feeling.... For those that have gone in for an eye exam and have got that poof of air blasted in your eye, this is the same feeling of the LHR process. Except unlike the eye exam, there is no anxiety over when the next poof of air is coming. And not only was it painless for me, but it was over in no time! My guess is it took less than 30 seconds for each underarm! It's been nearly two weeks now, and there is still minimal hair regrowth. So far, I am very pleased with the results, but I know I have to go another 3 times at least, so we'll see. I'm assuming I will have the same results I had last time which were great. I definitely recommend this place based on my first visit, but I will keep you updated on the progress because what matters is the end result. Look, I'm sure all the other places are just as good, but seriously why would you pay more for it when LaserForLess charges so much less? read more

I LOVE Laser for Less (Chandler)! If you are going anywhere else for Laser hair removal you need to stop now and call to make an appointment with Laser for Less, Chandler. I wasted a lot of $$$ at another Laser removal place before I found Laser for Less and now I am kicking myself for not going to them first. If you pay to wax any part of your body you should be lasering that hair off. It works better, lasts longer, and in the long run is cheaper. Pros - 1. Free touch ups 14-18 days after your first appointment if they missed 1 hair they will touch up for free. Never had a problem with them discouraging me, in fact it was the opposite they give me reminder cards so I know when my touch ups are due. They encourage you to come in. 2. They can also charge you by the laser shot instead of a whole area. So if you only have a few random hairs they will just charge 10 cent per shot on the legs or 70 cents on the face or smaller areas. You can't beat that deal. 3. I am pretty sure they beat or match all prices in town. 4. Once they laser the hair, all your hair will fall out and wont grow back for like 2 months, its better than waxing. Not all laser removal places use the type of laser that does this place does. That is why I recommend them, it works a lot better! 5. They actually care about getting rid of unwanted hair and will go over all their policies with you. Kristen is who I go to and she is great. I have been to almost all their girls and they are good. 6. In fact when it was my birthday month I didn't know I got some discount and they back credited me for it, I feel like they are always trying to get me the best deal. 7. They always have deals. Just last month they had their underarm extravaganza where you can get your underarms done for $30!!! That is so cheap. They let you buy up to 3 sessions. Secretly, I've grown tired of hearing people say that I have great skin (I don't have to shave as much or as often anymore). Before my laser hair removal sessions, not many pointed this out about me so I can rule out "good genes" and rule in Laser for Less. But enough about me and on to the review which is why you're reading this. There are so many fliers and deals out there for laser hair removal and the only place I would choose and recommend to my family is Laser for Less. I've been a customer for 11 years (I go mostly for touch ups) and I keep going back because the laser technicians and really understand my skin and hair type to maximize the laser effectiveness and to minimize that "rubber band snap" feeling (they are very personable too and that puts me at ease.) Also, their pricing is phenomenal for returning customers (there are really great deals for new customers too). The appointment booking (and rescheduling) process is a breeze, appointment reminders are available via text (and email) and the touch up policy is generous (I go in for touch ups I referred two people in my family to Laser for Less after they tried one of those laser hair removal places near Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and didn't get results (plus they paid twice as much than at Laser for Less.) read more

Update, December 2014: I had a total of (I think) 9 sessions on my bikini area and 6 or 7 on my armpits. My last session was at the beginning of September 2014. I began seeing regrowth on my armpits almost immediately, and in November, I began seeing extensive regrowth on my bikini area. This is regrowth of dark hairs that were supposedly eliminated. I have very pale skin and dark hair and am an ideal candidate for successful hair removal; for my final 2-3 sessions, Kristen used a very high setting on the machine to ensure that the hairs were destroyed. Laser for Less is very clear that laser treatments offer "permanent hair reduction", and Kristen explained to me that some clients have occasional, isolated hair regrowth. I am experiencing a LOT of regrowth, though. Based on this I have to say that laser treatments offer temporary hair reduction, and I am very disappointed. I've lowered my rating from 5 stars to 3 based on the enormous regrowth I am experiencing, and will edit this review again in the future if the regrowth increases. I've been going to Laser for Less for 5-6 months now, having regular treatments. I started going for a bikini treatment, and the results were so impressive that I decided to add armpits. Kristen is the technician who regularly does my treatments. She is always friendly, but always respectful of my body and space. And she does a great job! I can see a big difference even after one treatment and I am THRILLED! I already booked a 2nd treatment and cannot wait to do more areas on my body. I workout often and have several stubborn areas where I cannot get rid of fat. I am 43 and after having kids the skin on my stomach is loose and the lower abdomen bulged. I am 5'5 and weigh 125 on average. At my lowest weight last year, 119, the bulge would not go away. I even tried many workouts that target abs.
