We called the day before if they could have service done the next day so we dropped the vehicle off the night before. We called them at 2pm as we hadn't heard anything from them and they said they were just getting it in the garage. We called them at 5pm and we're told they hadn't touched it yet. Took my car here to get tires. Seems like this is a company that believes in Bait and Switch. They were very friendly on the phone. They gave me a reasonable deal, so I dropped my car off. I decided to walk to Walmart down the road since they said it would be ready in 45 minutes. 10 minutes later I get a call saying that the tires they quoted me on were the wrong size for my car....even though I told them the exact tire I needed, and it would be another $400 to get the right size. Well here is the deal, the car dealership gave me a quote for the right size, and they supposedly beat it by $100... That's why I went to them. Now they are $300 more than a dealership? I told them no way. I was not happy. The guy tried to sweet talk me and say he didn't want to lose my friendship. Wow. So he brought it down $300. It was still $50 more than the dealership quote, but my car was already there- -and they knew it. So I said ok. It took them 3 hours to get me out the door since they had some computer problems. I'm guessing they just put my car at the end of the line since I was not happy as it was.... It's funny, because on their sign, it says they meet or beat all other deals out there. Not true, I'm sure there is some small type in there that gets them out of anything. My advice- hold them to any quote because they will try and change it. read more

Hadn't been to Belle Tire in a while and needed a tire fixed. Although the tires on the car were not purchased there the repair was done at no charge. This location is a stain on the Belle Tire brand. Being a Belle Tire customer for many years I have been satisfied with all aspects of my treatment and level of service. This long standing period of mutual satisfaction with Belle Tire ended when my home location changed and thus my servicing store changed to Belle Tire in Bay City. The staff at this location have proven to be some of the rudest and most unprofessional collection of individuals employed or encountered in over 20 years as a customer. The Manager is ineffective in overseeing and managing his staff, he has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and interpersonal communication. While I don't want to name him specifically, he remains a major obstacle to good service and professional customer service. While I am not ready to completely end my relationship with Belle Tire, when in Bay City I would recommend going to Discount Tire which is just 5 minutes away. Discount Tire staff and personal are friendly, responsive and professional. read more

As someone that occasionally needs new tires, I guess I lost focus on the complexity and smoke and mirrors that seem so prevalent in this business. Belle Tire didn't didn't disappoint. We started by calling to get a quote. With a good number in hand, we drove 60 miles to get tires. We arrived, and left our car. Before we could walk down the road, the manager called to report the quoted tires were unavailable. Seems the ones we really needed now were $400 more expensive. Because we had already price shopped, we told him no. Suddenly the price started to drop. After he reduced the price $300, we agreed as we still needed the tires. After an hour and a half, our car was done. Or was it! Seems the programming of the tire pressure sensor would be an issue. Another hour and a half later, the manager apologized, promised a free oil change, and we were off. I can't imagine collecting on that oil change. Major fail mr manager. Set an appointment two days ahead of great service but the gentleman who first greeted me not so pleased with. My appointment was for 8 a.m I showed up 15 minutes early and walked in knowing that I was there early just wanted them to know I was there for my appointment and the guy who first greeted me was very rude to me when I told him about my appointment. He looked at me and ignorantly asked me if I knew what time it was cause they were not open yet and they don't open til 8 a.m. if they did not want people inside before then they shouldn't have the doors unlocked. After that another gentleman took over and was very pleasant to talk with. read more

Getting a new windshield? Go somewhere else... Scheduled an appointment to have windshield fixed, took the car in only to find out the tech was out sick. Not sure why no one called to let me know? Rescheduled the appointment for 11:00 a different day. Took the car in and was told it would be done in 2 hours. I walked around town for two hours and went back to to pick up the car. When I arrived the Assistant manager walked out back to check on my car, he came back out front to tell me my mini van was almost complete, I explained that I didn't own a mini van and pointed to my vehicle that was out front, with the cracked windshield.....long story short, with a 'sorry about your luck attitude' the assistant manager initially stated the job wasn't completed because they were 'double booked,' but later stated there was a mix up and the car with the 1:00 appointment was taken prior to mine.....ugh, ok.....they offered to drive home, which I agreed to. The car was done by 4:30 and I found my own ride back. In hind sight I should have just left with my car. Not sure which story to believe, either way I'm not sure how, with effective organization, you don't know you are double booked or how, with effective organization, a car with an 11:00 appointment gets confused with the 1:00 considering the 3 hour time difference.....and question whether or not I could have left with a mini van? I'm only giving them two stars because the tech that drove me home was very nice and empathetic to the situation, he was really deserved a five!!! As a woman who knows nothing about tires, front/rear alignment, etc., I depend on the people at Belle Tire to give me honest advice/guidance and at a cost which I can afford. My visit was very fast. Everyone was wearing masks and staying 6ft apart. The only negative thing I noticed is that the showroom was dirty. The table next to my chair was dirty. I took out an antibacterial wipe and cleaned it off before I sat down. In this critical time of the Covid virus, I think they could do better. read more

If Belle tire breaks something on your vehicle that was not broken when your vehicle arrived at their shop...they will claim its your fault and take zero responsibility. Do not be concerned about the issues they create, be concerned about the multiple issues they will find that does not exist. Yes your right they will find multiple fictitious repairs and charge you an arm and a leg for repairs. The bottom line is DO NOT GO TO BELLE TIRE. You will be able to have your vehicle repaired properly by simply taking it to your local mechanic. Belle tire and all the other corporate and dealership chains will steal as much money from you as possible. You are easy money to them nothing more. AVOID BELLE TIRE AND OTHER DEALERSHIPS THEY WILL SCAM YOU AS LONG AS THEY EXIST. read more
