I've brought several vehicles to them over the past few years - for a variety of fixes - not anymore. They've upped their prices to the point that it's just not worth it. Staff is always friendly. Unfortunately my recommendation will stop there. Bought full set of BF Goodrich KO3. Love the tire but they had a shimmy in the front end. On the 3rd time (3rd visit) they told me that there was a defect in one of the tires. The Manager (John) explained that there is an issue with some of the new tires that Goodrich Engineers were working to see what the exact issue is. They ordered me a new set of tires (different manufacturer) and on the 4th visit installed the new tires. So not only did they charge me $72 more for the new tires, John " couldn't remember " having the previous conversation with me and he also couldn't tell me why they gave me the vehicle twice before without the tires being balanced. Came in because discount tire broke a stud on my car. I knew I had other mechanical issues with my with my car but Tim addressed it with a reasonable price and solution. i dont think know what doing debate over condensor controls ac false regulates radiator,cooling fan, and coolant reservoir, that does not regulate cabin temp evap, temp sensor, blend door actuator, blend door motor, climate control unit, refrigerant, compressor, blower motor, ac relay switch only items control ac unit. defroster works off relay switch however air not work defroster void, cabin temp 86 not normal should be 60-65 ac working full, also not hot air vents, under steer column if thats case cabin temp 115-125 most time given 90 degree had most summer very uncomfortable even w/all windows, sunroof down that extremely hot michigan. read more

Summary: don't trust any repair suggestions they make without consulting other repair shops. We took our car in for a simple repair on the tires we purchased from Belle Tire. After fixing it, they provided a quote to my wife for $2500 worth of repairs and said the car was unsafe to drive. We had just brought our car to a dealership the other day (that we trust) and they reported all of the items on the car as being good to go. We took it back to the dealership again, and they reiterated their findings. Be mindful if you are a woman going into the Alpine Belle Tire. After much negotiation over the phone with a sales rep who provided final pricing with price matching and a dealership coupon to show up and assist manager to say we will not do that. Manager would not accept pricing per tire viewed online and dealership coupon that was promised to us. Assistant manager was not willing to help get what he needed nor work with me in person. I needed paper proof. Asked me to move aside from counter so he could help other customers. :( We have bought tires from belle tire on 4 other vehicles over the years and they have been good to use. Seems like customer service isn't top priority any longer. For us at this point it's not about the pricing but the lack of customer service that was given today. read more

I went in for a tire patch and the broke my exhaust pipe. They tried charging me $400 to fix there mistake. I don't think it was intentional, likely just an employee breaking it and not wanting to get wrote up. Stay far away. I'm already struggling to pay rent and now need to pay for another costly auto repair. Avoid at any and all costs. read more

I have been coming to this Belle Tire for years - only in the past couple have I really started to notice how much they are striving for great service. I stopped in on a Friday around 8AM to put air in my tire - they have free air out front! One of the guys came right out to help & put the air in and made sure it had the right pressure. SO helpful. Came back the following Friday to have my tires checked since my sensor was showing low air still. I came in over my lunch break and I only had an hour.. the guys got my car in, check the tire (found a nail), patched the hole, and calibrated my sensors (because the last place did not). They made sure to get me in and out before my hour was up. Plus - FREE. Not only will i come back for my tires but I will recommend people here, too. Great service and nice guys. What a vast improvement over visits of the distant past. (Several years past) I've always gotten a good price on tires so I've been there quite a bit. I knew my car had some issues. No one tried to sell me things I didn't need. Even told me I didn't need a service I thought I did. I happened to have time to wait so I got a lot of past due work done on the vehicle at an extremely reasonable price. They had time and could get all the parts the day I was there. (Shocks, struts, tie rod) Treated me right from the beginning of my appointment right on through. Fantastic communication. Will definitely be back with my second vehicle that also needs some past due maintenance work. I have to say this was an extremely pleasant change from some of my past experiences at Belle Tire and they earned a customer. Attentive staff, great prices, honesty. I have a weird model car and had some complex issues with getting new tires. While it did involve multiple visit, Steve made sure to call me and communicate clearly. He was very transparent about every single part and made sure I was satisfied with the work. When I had questions he explained everything clearly and easily. I brought a full set of 4 tires on Labor Day weekend. I was getting 37.3 miles to the gallon. I noticed my mileage went down to 31,2 on 11/21/2026. I started putting air in my tires every few tires. I went to Belle Tire this and sasked for my tores to be checked. He stated that they were booked for 2 weeks out. I siars the we are going on holiday vacation stating this Wedesday. I said that i need it looked right now, He saus get put air in the tires and come bacj in 2 weeks. NEVER NEVER THIS THIS LOX-CATION, They have very poor management!!! read more

I ran over a nail, and after a pretty rough tire changing experience, went here for a repair. They patched the tiny hole in the tire, then they inspected the tires and recommended new ones before winter. Their prices were comparable to nearby places, so I decided to purchase all 4 new tires. About 2 days after leaving with my brand new tires, one of them went completely flat! I had to get someone out to put the donut on again!! And then drive back to Belle. After having to schedule an appointment and leaving work early to fit into their schedule... I waiting for an hour, and they said the valve stem had gone bad (something they should replace when they replace the tires). At least they repaired it at no charge, but it was highly inconvenient! I really needed an oil change and figured if I were there again then I might as well get that taken care of, but they charge $35 which is a bit pricey since places down the street offer it for $26 and will wash your car too! Not very impressed, overall. read more

Was friendly and a quick experience getting my quote for new tires on Black Friday. I had an associate look at the tires and measure them to get a quote. Tempe replacement device works later was good. The quote of future needed repairs by Josh Bowerman and another guy Daniel Thompso was well put together. I'd say they are a food group of mechanics in feting quality service at reasonable prices. They have have free air too and a pretty clean bathroom. If I could rate this a 0 I would, please take your business elsewhere and I cannot stress this enough. I called the day prior to see if I could come in and have a headlight installed and they said just to come in because it's a first come first serve basis. I come in today and the guy running the front stand was so extremely rude, literally rolled his eyes when I walked in the door. "how can I help you" in the most monotone, annoyed, discouraged tone. He asked me what kind of car it was as if he had nothing better to do, then told me it was gonna cost me around $141. In the way he was speaking to me he told me as if I shouldn't even do it, I ask him the soonest availability and he said I don't know. what do you mean you don't know? I definitely laughed in his face and said have a good day, to which he replied with nothing. I literally cannot imagine having a job and being this miserable. the good thing about employment is that you can actually choose where you want to work, believe it or not. Literally one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a mechanic. There are so many other places on alpine to get your car worked on, go to literally any of them, other than this one. My Jeeps steering was wondering/jerking left and right causing my whole car to wiggle. Took it to this Belle Tire and talked to Jesse about the issue. Said that they were going to test drive it and see what the problem was. 30 minutes later Jesse called and SPECIFICALLY told me that the wandering/jerking was due to extremely warn bushings on my rear upper control arm causing the rear axle to slop around. They replaced the rear upper control arm, rear ball joint, tire rod end and adjusted the caster angle for $500. Picked up the Jeep the next day and guess what... STILL does the same thing! Absolutely unacceptable. This Belle Tire either misdiagnosed my issue or intentionally sold me parts that I did not need for profit. I immediately called this Belle Tire back and told them that I will be dropping my Jeep back off tomorrow morning. Extremely disappointed in this Belle Tire. Will update review soon. Update: Dropped the Jeep off the next morning and they told me they were going to get to the bottom of it. Later that day Belle Tire called me back to let me know my car was ready to be picked up. They had someone follow my Jeep from behind and found that the lower control arm was actually the problem. Jesse apologized for them missing the problem and replaced the lower control arm for free. I am shocked that they initially released the Jeep back to me without seeing if the steering problem was fixed. This Belle Tire in the end did the right thing and fixed my Jeep's steering problem. 3 Stars. read more

Came in to have the shaking in my car fixed. They told me It was because needed all new tires. When I picked it up after they upsold me all new tires the shaking was worse than it was before. I went back and they said that the balance was off (not sure why since they just put new tires on) and they fixed it. My car was still shaking and noticeable at low speed even in the parking lot and they said there was no way for them to test drive it to see if it was shaking... I went back a third time and still no help or willingness to actually fix what is wrong with my car. Wish I had read reviews before cause it looks like others have had the same issue. Extremely dissatisfied! Instead of actually fixing what was wrong with it they slapped new tires on my car and called it good. Now I am out $600 before the holidays and still have to go to another shop to get it fixed since I can't trust them to do their job. Definitely won't come back and will recommend others not to go here! read more

They broke a 4wd actuator doing a ball joint replacement. Passed it off on me because its a old part, its worn. Funny, I had done the other side's ball joint myself 3 days before and managed to not break the actuator. Got offered free labor and a very inflated price I'd have to pay for the part. After over 100,000 miles on my car, and still having the original factory tires, it was time for new tires. The recent downfall of snow only reminded me how bad I needed new tires. I read several reviews for different tires and decided to get some Bridgestone Ecopia tires. I was able to take advantage of a $50 coupon at Belle Tire as well as a $50 rebate from Bridgestone, although I'm currently still waiting for that. The tires I wanted were not in stock, so they had to be ordered. After a few days I came in to get them put on. The wait was just under two hours. I was very pleased to see that they actually washed my car while they were putting my tires on. I had requested to keep the front two tires and they wrapped them up and loaded them in the trunk for me. I have no complaints at all and their employees seemed to be very knowledgeable and respectful. Belle Tire offers free air, free alignment, free tire rotations, free wheel weights, free flat repairs and a few other freebies I would have to look at my receipt to remember. You can't go wrong with buying tires here. I hope these tires will last a very long time and when I need some new ones again, I will definitely be coming back here. read more

Excellent Location - and I commend Belle Tire (they have improved from past experiences I have had). Had some break, tire, and strut work done at a different location (Belleville). Had some issues with the breaks about a month later. Took the care in - they were very accepting and had everything in their computer. They listened to my issue and simply took care of the problem. Efficient - only took a few hours. They needed to replace parts and just initiated it with no questions. Not that it was about "not getting charged" - but they did the repair without cost. Simply because it was the right thing to do. Doesn't have to be that way every time - I will go back just because they did the right thing by me as a customer and offered to help. I brought my truck here to get all four tires put on and when I got it back I had no breaks and when I told them about it they basically told me it was my own fault and to fuck off. I bought 4 new tires and an alignment at nearly $1,600 I drove away and the car started shimmying at highway speed. I stopped back 4 times to have it fixed over a 3 week period of time. Always too busy that day but could schedule for next week. My Schedule didn't allow me to do this so on 4th attempt they said they could get at it in an hour. Waited 3 hours and they still hadn't moved my car. When I asked they were sorry but my vehicle would be next. I asked for my keys back and left. Never do I plan to support a business that doesn't back up their commitment to providing a service. Not only have I invested $1,600 in tires and service but also the time involved in stopping to get their failure corrected and having to drive 3800 miles with a shimmying car. Little do they know that I have several vehicles that get tires etc there through my business that they will never see again. After spending a half hour of being the only one in line at Discount Tire down the road and never being acknowledged, I gave up and drove down to Belle. I was greeted before I was already all the way through the door, and everyone at the counter offered to help me. I let the guy know I needed tires for my car and wasn't for sure what ones of the two types I needed, and he literally RAN outside to my car and ran back to check for me. Told me it'd be about an hour, maybe and hour and 15 mins, so I walked over to Walgreens and came back 40 mins later, sat down on the bench, ate my bag of Skittles, and they drove my car up right in front of me and were done already, with the tires and a thorough list of all the other minor things wrong with my car that they inspected. 10/10, 5 stars, will never go anywhere else for tires or other issues. I wish there were negative stars for this place. By far the WORST tire place I have ever been to. Maybe this place will give you better service if you're a man. I came to get 2 tires for my car but wasn't sure what kind I would need. When I talked to the sales guy he told me immediately they would have to do 4 because that was the "rule." The front two tires had been replaced less than a year and a half ago and still had plenty of tread left. While I understand there are rules for AWD vehicles about the allowed % difference between tires, at no point did they offer to measure my tires for me with anything other than their finger. The sales guy I dealt with told me I was irresponsible for not replacing all 4 of my tires and as I left the store he made some remark about "stupid women drivers" to his coworker that I couldn't hear the rest of. I will NEVER be back... but if insulting, condescending sales guys are your thing they maybe this is the place for you. read more

I went to Belle Tire for what everyone expects--I needed tires. In the process, they informed me I had a bad bushing, so I paid to fix my control arm as well (because apparently that's how you have to do it). When I went to pick up my vehicle, the music was blasting (I always turn the radio down when I get out) and they told me I had a brake line leak. Doing more research, I came to the conclusion they broke my brake line and told me I had a leak to cover their mistake. They charged me another $600 on top of my tires and the control arm, and also left greasy, disgusting finger prints all over the outside of my door (my truck is white). I looked underneath to see the new brake lines expecting it to be obvious; they didn't replace everything, just pieced things together. Horrible experience here and I'll do my best to steer people away from this place. They offer free tire rotation and flat fixes for life but I don't think I trust them to touch my truck again. read more
