I have used different Belle Tires for around 30 years. I have found them to be honest, into customer care, and respectful to women. That is until I had to use this location. I have had trouble with both back tires and on the day I was too sick to go to work, one was flat when I was heading to a doctor's appointment. Luckily I have a small air pump but had to blow up the tire to get there and get home. When I found out it wasn't COVID, I decided I had to replace those tires that was almost 4 years old. I took a picture of tire for size and got on their website to find some tires. I have been buying my own tires for 45 years now and have worked on cars almost as long. When their site recommended a different size, I was OK with that. I found a set in stock and made an appointment. That is when the trouble started. Tires not there but could get them later in the evening. Since I was waiting and had an appointment for a Heart MRI the next morning at 6:30 am, I agree to go with a higher price set. Next was I wanted the wrong size and the tech didn't believe it was their website mistake. Of course, they didn't have the 1st type and the ones I agree to was more. My appointment was at 3:30 PM and they didn't even start until 4:30 I waited until after 6 PM to get my car back. I did have them put the new tires on the front and the front on the back. Got blow back about that. Of, course their alignment check found a small alignment problem. I knew it being that small, nothing had to be done. I was treated like a woman who knew nothing about cars. While waiting I overheard one their employees explaining to 2 people he was showing around the waiting room how gets to be friends with his customers so he could up sale. I guess he must think everyone just listens to their phone and this old lady is one who digs deeper to find information for honest reviews. read more

These guys fixed a screw in my tire , cost to me nothing! Even better these did al these repairs in under 15 minutes. I've had a lot of tire issues with hitting pot holes, damaged tire rims. Today the tire gods smile upon me, and Belle Tire couldn't not have made it easier for me. I'm sure the get grumpy people (myself included) in with emergency repairs. Had a flat on a tire I bought here. It was damaged. They were swamped, apparently due to the 8 Mile Road and other numerous potholes from what I overheard. A few weeks ago, they also promptly fixed my wife's brake issue. As always, great customer service. Charles took care of me very efficiently. He's great. Brought my car in for a tire rotation. Was told that I had a very loose left side control arm. Would cost $675 to replace. I took it to my mechanic for a second opinion He said that I didn't need the control arm but just a ball joint replacement. ( Which he said that the two were night and day difference). They replaced the ball joint for around $200. A big difference than what I was quoted. I stopped by Belle Tire on my way home to see what they would say and redeem themselves. What I got was very bad customer service. The person Justin who I talked with said the ball joint was part of control arm. Don't know who the mechanic is but should have known the difference. Personally I think everyone that works at this location is lazy as shit, especially the manager doesn't want to go above and beyond for anyone unless he's at the dinner table. Also another thing is watch out for them charging for alignments and not doing it. I have marked up where my alignment is to see if they do it and they don't. read more

my tire was losing air consistently, so I knew something had punctured it. I made an appointment at Belle Tire. Not only was the tire repaired in less than an hour, but when I pulled out my card to pay he handed me my keys and said 'You're all set." I have bought tires from a different location in the past, and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but I was blown away! All-time worst auto service experience. TL;DR, I came in for a flat tire... left with a non-functioning speedometer + other sensor failures and a tire that is still flat (a day after they serviced it). Long version: I took my car in for a tire losing air and to get patched. While it was there, the techs noticed I had some bad rear shocks and bad front ball joints. I had them go ahead and fix it for me. I get the car back, turn it on, and every light on the dash is on. I talk with the front desk worker, he says some sensors might just have to re-adjust. I thought, sure, no problem, if it doesn't go off, I'll bring it back. I get just out the driveway and notice the speedometer and tach going up and then dropping to 0, rapidly. Also, the gear indicator, oil temp, and other lights are flickering and going blank. So of course, I bring it back into them and they tell me to leave it and they'll look at it. I get a call from the store manager, Collin Sikes, saying the car is ready for pickup. I make sure to ask "The dash lights are all off?". He says they are all off. I go to pick it up and the employee at the counter tells me they couldn't fix the issues and I should take it a dealership and that what they did couldn't have done this... They expressed many times that they thought it was an issue I had had previously, which is completely false, the car was in perfect working condition prior to this. I have never had a dash light on, let alone 6 of them. Everyone up there that I talked to was very nice and respectful but at the end of the day, I took my perfectly functioning vehicle in there and it came out of their shop essentially undriveable, with no recourse other than take somewhere else. They just washed their hands of me after I paid them $800. I called around to local (and not so local) dealerships to get it looked at, the earliest appointment they had for an electrical technician to service it was two-three weeks. The car will sit in my driveway until then. Luckily, I have a spare vehicle. Once the car is diagnosed, Collin made mention of wanting to make things right, if they could trace the problem back to what they did. I thought this was very nice gesture and I appreciate his commitment to that end. However, it doesn't excuse the extremely poor service I experienced. I will revisit this review after this is all said and done and change the rating accordingly. Honestly, I just want my car back the way it was. read more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! the other day i pulled in to belle tire because the check tire light came on in my car.......so i stopped at belle tire and they checked my tires almost immediately......the service tech that checked & filled my tires (the pressure in all 4 were considerably lower than they should be) suggested that i should have the wheels cleaned & sealed....(who knew ?).....so i made an appointment to come in to have it done.....and much to my surprise & delight.....my car was in & out in under an hour.......the staff is great....the waiting area is clean & comfortable....and most amazing when asked what i owed (i was expecting to pay for the service) i was told there was no charge......that type of service is definitely above & beyond and a great way to win over new customers and promote customer loyalty......after several disappointing appointments with discount tires.....i'm switching my loyalty to BELLE TIRE.....they definitely know how to treat & value their customers......(both old & new)..... read more

Charles and Patrick were very polite and courteous. Got us in and out on December 23rd in less than 2 hours with no appointment. Driving north on 275 Sunday and I hear a pop in the front end. Thought I hit something on the road. No big deal right. Tire pressure light comes on, car starts to pull to the right, and front right tire is obviously going flat . I get off at 8 mile cause I know there is a Belle Tire just west of Haggerty and I bought my tires at Belle. I know they are closed but pull in and change my tire. HA! The spare tire that I have never lowered from under the car is too low to drive on and the store air pump is not working. I park the car, get a ride home, and set alarm to get up early to get to store. 4th person in line, 5 minute wait, and Collin calls me up to help. He was very friendly, pleasant (yes it was a Monday morning), and told me how they would look into it right away and call me when done. Two hours later Collin calls, car is ready I can come and get it. They filled spare and hung it back under car. Plugged the hole in the formerly flat tire and told me to have a nice day. Christine K. and i took her car into this location, a tire technician told us it SOUNDED like it was a compression issue. No diagnostics were run. i asked if it may be a fuel pump issue, i was told no, they also refused to preform that test. Later i called, i was told over the phone that they didn't charge us for it. We appreciate not being charged for nothing. Collin Sikes said the sound it made during start up, caused them not to do any further inspections. They handed us the keys back. The truck was in the same position in the same spot in their parking lot (never moved) however they did leave the hood open. We just got word back from Firestone down the street. They did a diagnostic and found out that it IS the fuel pump and said that a simple diagnostic would have shown that. This not how i was trained as a (Ex) Belle employee. Had my car towed here when I broke down on the road. A "tire tech" informed me that they could not do the work because they ASSUMED it was inner engine problem. They didn't even run the typical full diagnostic work because they said the engine "sounded funny". Didn't even attempt to take it inside or shut my hood properly before handing me back my keys. The employees of the shop do not seem to fully understand the scope of their position...or any want to do the entirety of the job on hand. I came in for an oil change. Too soon for new tires. The oil change went ok. After I got home I discovered a new dent in the hood. I know it was new because I just finished waxing the vehicle and the dent would have showed up then. The Assistant Manager, Danny O Stevens, responded to my complaint and invited me back to see the dent. I came back and was very disappointed with the result. The Assistant Manager accepted no responsibility whatsoever. Said if I brought in estimates that maybe, but only maybe, they would reconsider and offer partial compensation. I do not find this offer or attitude acceptable. My time has worth also. read more

Shop was busy but they still managed to fix my tire in a little under an hour and a half. This location is much much faster than the novi location. Will be coming to this one again. read more
