I received a few quotes with varying prices and couldn't decide, therefore I also did a Google search of reviews of the various places to help me make my decision of where to take my vehicle. GP, which is 45 mins away from my home, and an hour in traffic from my work, quoted me a flat rate with parts and labor included, which was $20 more than a shop in my neighborhood. The removal and install was fast, and the gentleman was very professional. My bill was actually $20 more than the flat rate quoted. Therefore, I ended up paying $40 more than I would have paid had I gone to a local shop, 1hour 45 mins driving, and a 1/4 tank of gas. Pricey lesson learned. However, I'm grateful that my windshield is fixed before winter. I recommend this location for folks who live in the area. It's clean with a comfortable waiting room. Also, if you're low in cash, make sure you know that "flat rate" doesn't mean the same to everyone. Use the Project tool to receive quotes, etc, but do extra homework and know exactly how much a service will cost you in exact pricing, considering your travel (gas) expenses, and time when comparing.

I had my windshield replaced on my 2011 Ford Escape XLT on February 25th, and it has been a nightmare of property damage and zero accountability. Contacted about the leaking on Feb 27th. ​The "Service": ​Major Leaks: Within 48 hours, it started leaking. The headliner is 90% stained, and water leaks directly through the sunglass holder and a pillers. I'm literally having to use a tarp on my car in Michigan weather just to save my interior from mold and electrical failure. My seats and floor boards are soaked. ​Safety Hazards: They left shattered glass all over my dashboard, switches, and even the street. I spent time cleaning it up, but tiny shards are still embedded everywhere. ​The Mess: There is polyurethane residue all over my headliner and support towers. They even covered the VIN with it, making it unreadable. ​The "Customer Service" (or lack thereof): I have been dealing with "Robert" for weeks. On March 7th, he said the glass was out of stock. On March 9th, he said it was in stock and a tech would be there by noon. Noon came and went. 3:00 PM came and went. No call, no show. ​I was told the "back office" is the only one who can help, yet I can't get a single person on the phone who actually has a solution. It has been nearly two weeks of water damage and excuses. Now we have been blocked on multiple phone numbers. ​If you value your vehicle and your time, stay far away from SkyView. They are quick to take your money but will leave your car damaged and then ghost you when you ask them to fix their mistakes. Lawyers are my next step.

During the installation, the technician damaged parts of the interior of my car, not just the trim but the actual area where the windshield meets the interior. The cut was uneven and done diagonally, leaving visible damage. They also broke the plastic cover for the rear-view mirror / camera assembly and never reinstalled it. After the installation I discovered that the windshield is leaking water inside the car, which clearly means the windshield was not sealed properly during installation. I also hear wind noise while driving. The car was also left dirty with debris from the installation, and nothing was cleaned afterward. What's most frustrating is the lack of follow-up. When I contacted the company, they told me they would send a technician and that someone would call me to schedule the repair. Since then, no one has called and they have completely stopped responding. It has now been a week, and I'm still left with interior damage, a missing camera cover, and a leaking windshield. When a company advertises professional service and warranty support, they should stand behind their work. Right now I'm just hoping they take responsibility and fix the issues they caused.

He said that wouldn't be a problem and snuck my wife and I right at the end of the day. They were also able to install the tires I wanted and able to replace all of my old lug studs and repair any holes that were damaged on my hubs. I forgot to mention one of my ball joints needed to be replaced and he said they had them in stock and could have it done with the four wheel alignment . The price was way lower than I expected and had me out in 2 hours. They had to order 2 of my wife's 4 wheels in but had her in by the next day at another great price. Every star earned!! The staff there have restored our faith in humanity. Thanks again!

I brought my car in for a simple winter tire install, and they managed to chip the finish on all four of my BBS wheels. To make it worse, they even installed the wrong tire size on one wheel -- an absolutely ridiculous mistake. When I confronted the general manager, he flat-out denied everything and tried to gaslight me by claiming I must be confusing my car with another customer's vehicle. Their customer service team wasn't any better. They also denied the damage despite the obvious evidence. Only after pushing the issue did they offer to pay for repairs, but at that point I had already disputed the charge with my credit card company. This place is a joke. I will never return to any Belle Tire location, and I strongly urge others to stay far away unless you want your vehicle damaged and then be blamed for it.

As a former professional in the auto repair industry with decades of experience, I purchased tires…read morefor my 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter from Northville Firestone, which included free tire rotations. Unfortunately, my experience with this location was extremely disappointing, immoral, unethical and had zero integrity resulting in unperformed services, and thousands of dollars of unresolved vehicle damages to my Mercedes Sprinter. The first time I visited for a tire rotation, I discovered they had not rotated my tires at all. In addition, they failed to inform me that one of the lug nuts had been stripped. I had paid for services that were not performed, and Firestone chose not to address these issues or communicate with me about it. When I returned the following week for the promised rotation, I spoke to the store manager, Terrance. He was unapologetic and cold, moved forward with the tire second attempt at a tire rotation. **However, things took a much worse turn after the second visit. A few weeks later, while inspecting my vehicle from underneath, I noticed severe damage to the undercarriage frame of my Mercedes Sprinter. It appeared that the vehicle had been improperly hoisted, crushing the pinch weld frame on both sides. The damage was significant and would cost thousands of dollars to repair. Worse yet, no one at Firestone--neither the technician nor the management--had informed me about this damage whatsoever.** I immediately filed a claim with Firestone Corporate. Chad Mcghee, a representative from Firestone, refused to take responsibility for the damage, citing that weeks had passed since the incident and therefore Firestone would not be held accountable. Despite providing evidence of the damage and the improper hoisting, Firestone declined to repair my vehicle or even discuss the issue in person. This level of negligence and disregard for customer service is unacceptable. My question to Firestone is: How is it the customer's responsibility to inspect the underbody of their vehicle after a routine service, especially when the damage is clearly hidden from view? Why should I have to audit services I've paid for to ensure they are completed properly and without damage? After the first visit, I could clearly see the tires hadn't been rotated, but I never expected to have to inspect the undercarriage after every visit. It's absurd that Firestone didn't take responsibility for their actions. I'm left with a $70,000 vehicle that has thousands of dollars in damage, all because of negligence at the hands of Store Manager Terrance & staff. In conclusion, if you're looking for professional auto repair, I highly recommend avoiding Terrance and his team at Northville Firestone. You would be better off finding a repair facility that values integrity, takes accountability for their actions, and provides the service you paid for. Firestone in Northville is severely understaffed, unprofessional, and, unfortunately, run by a team that lacks basic ethics, integrity and does not take responsibility for their actions & accidents. They hire grumpy, underpaid, overworked, and inexperienced staff, which only exacerbates the issues while projecting poor attitudes. I would not recommend this location, to anyone. DO NOT GO HERE! (Firestone Auto Care, Northville MI)…read more I'm leaving this review to warn other customers, especially anyone who has experienced pressure to approve unnecessary repairs. About six months ago, I had my rear brakes and rotors replaced on my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe LT at this Firestone location. At that appointment, the manager (Scott Phillips) told me after the fact that it was "corporate policy" that brakes and rotors must always be replaced together. That claim felt questionable, and I later researched Firestone's policy and learned this is not universally required. On 1/31/26, I returned for a front brake inspection. I clearly stated I only wanted front brake pads replaced and did not want rotors unless they were truly out of specification. My vehicle has only 50,018 miles, and I drive about 8,000 miles per year locally. Scott insisted I needed both front brakes and rotors and claimed I only had "4mm left" on the pads. When I declined rotors, he refused to perform the brake service at all. He also refused to provide rotor measurements when I asked. The service report contained no objective specs -- only vague notes like "Technician Recommended Based on Experience." This location appears to rely on upselling and pressure tactics rather than transparent, documented assessments. I went to another shop immediately afterward. They confirmed I did not need rotors, only brake pads -- and that Firestone's brake measurement was not accurate. They also confirmed I needed an oil change and coolant, but no air filter, contrary to Firestone's recommendation. After this experience, I looked up Firestone through the Better Business Bureau. The Northville location is not BBB accredited and carries an F rating. The BBB also notes thousands of complaints filed at the corporate level in recent years, with many involving failure to respond or unresolved issues. I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle ANYWHERE but here.
