Discount tire was supposed to be closing but a (cute) guy named Evan was still there cleaning up and closing. He reopened just to help us. This is the second time we've come here, with Evan working. came here for a simple wheel swap. take one set of wheels and tires off, put a new set of wheels and tires on. that was in november. opened my summer wheels up today, after being in storage under my supervision, and only one of rims is defaced, not like curb rash, but like it's been dropped. went into the store and they refused to help me in any way, and refused to take accountability. at least they were nice about it. it was supposed to be a simple job, now it turned into a full price, third party wheel repair, or ordering a new wheel by myself, both are not something I was looking forward to doing. probably will not be coming back, as I want my personal belongings that I spent a lot of money on handled with care, and i'm gonna go to a more accountable place instead. one star for them being nice about it, 0 stars for everything else. not how business should be handled. you guys messed up. take accountability! read more

Noticed I had put air in my tire on three separate occasions in the short span of 2 weeks! I took car in to Discount Tire for air check. They found the culprit which was a nail. However, based on its position it couldn't be repaired. Thankfully I had added the tire certificate when I purchased my tires in February '24. One thing is I didn't know I needed to purchase a certificate again for new tire once you use it, but I get it. It was still worth it in the long run because I didn't have to buy a new tire! However, I don't think that was explained with initial purchase? They didn't have my tire in stock but the associate helping me named Brock took good care of me and called around to other stores to see if they could get in same day. They called me when came in same day, and I went up and did not have to wait long!! I'm back in the office with time to work before closing out for the day! Everyone was nice and professional! I buy my tires from TireRack.com. Been doing it for years because the selection of brands and sizes is significantly more than any brick and mortar store can carry. It requires, however, a local shop install the tires, and Discount is one of their recommended installers. Great. The car they were going on is a Lincoln and I actually had/have two full sets of tires/rim as I used to have separate summer and winter tires. Now it's not necessary as there's a new category of tire that is excellent in winter but doesn't wear in the summer like winter-only tires do. That's what we opted for. Made the appointment and took the car to Discount for the installation. Midway through, I see the technician rolling one of my rims into the front of shop to talk to me. I figured it was either cracked or bent, but no. Instead, the technician showed me a thin black line where the tire seals against the rim. He said, "See that line? These rims need to be replaced." I've worked as a mechanic in a shop in my past and know quite a bit about cars, including rims and tires. I asked him if the same problem was present on the other rims, just to see what he would say. Yup. Same problem on both. I asked him what would happen if we installed the tires on these rims, which he also indicated were perfect otherwise. "I can't guarantee that the tires will seal and not leak air." Hmmm. I took my finger and rubbed it on the black line, knowing it's just rubber. It rubbed right off. I asked, "Don't you clean the rims before installing new tires?" He said they can. I told him I wasn't interested in new rims. Instead, he ignored me and said, "Let's just see what rims we have in stock," and walked right to one of the computers to start looking it up. Alas he gave up quickly when he realized they didn't have any rims in the size needed, took the rim back, and finished the job. About a month has elapsed, and the pressures in the tire (which were not anywhere close to even on any tire when I left Discount, but fixed that on the way home), have stayed exactly where they were after I evened them out. I'm sorry, but there is NOTHING legitimate about my experience. It was easy for me to see right through the idiocracy of what I was being told, but I'm sure there are enough people that wouldn't know any better, and upon hearing that they "can't guarantee the new tires will hold air" without new rims, would feel like there was no other safe option but to get new rims! I've used Discount Tire (different locations) on and off throughout my life, and I've never had this kind of experience. Obviously I won't be going back, and I'll never let anyone I care about go there either. read more

This Discount Tire location (in front of IKEA near Ford and Haggerty) is fantastic. I drive over 50,000 miles a year for work, so I need frequent tire rotations and repairs. Today I came in for a nail that was in my tire. I walked in at 8am and was on my way with a repaired tire at 8:20am. This is the second positive experience I've had at this location. For my personal vehicle, I usually have my tires serviced at Costco because I find their prices to be competitive. For my work vehicle, I care more about being able to get in and get out. I've tried to take my work vehicle to various Belle Tire locations and EVERY SINGLE TIME the wait is either outrageous or they flat out tell me they can't get me serviced until another date (even if I am there at opening). Belle Tire (Ford/Canton Center and Ann Arbor Rd location) either needs to hire more people or manage their current crews better. Discount Tire, keep up the great work. Whoever manages this location does a great job. You will continue to have my business as long as you continue with reasonable service times. Discount Tire has a cool online portal for setting up appointments which is nice. The only downside with this feature is that it appears you cannot make next day appointments, but perhaps this is to keep space available for walk-ins. I'm not 100% sure. read more

I had some rims powder coated, and somewhere in the process, they ruined my center caps. I reached out to DT, and spoke with Tiffany. She was able to find, and order my replacements right away. She was thorough too. She made sure she was ordering the proper replacements, made sure the tires I ordered elsewhere were the right fit, and found the specific lug nuts needed for my wife's car. She was able to get the tires mounted, balanced, and installed while my center caps were being delivered. I was told to expect them to arrive in about a week. They showed up just a few days later, and now the car is complete! To be honest, all of the staff at the Canton location that I had interaction with, were all very nice people. As I was waiting for the work on my car to be completed, I sat back and listened to other customer interactions, and the staff just seems like genuinely good people, trying their best to help everyone they can, as quickly as possible. read more

Granted it was a sunny Saturday morning in May, but I made an appointment for 8:30am and I waited in line 25 mins just to talk to someone. It is apparent that their top priority is selling tires even answering phones with tire inquiries before moving the line. My first time in the business since I bought my tires 2yrs ago. I made an appointment because I knew Discount Tires would be busy. I waited in line for a good 15 minutes and yes I was on time. My turn and I explained what I needed done and that I had an appointment. He said it would still be a 40 wait. WHAT? But I made an appointment. Ok, 30 minutes later my vehicle was done, tire repaired and rotated. Get the tire insurance it is so worth it. The staff are very knowledgeable and more then eager to help and get the job done. My suggestion would be to have a seperate check in area for customers who made an appointment and treat them appropriately. They are not walkin customers and should not have to wait. Took my wife's car in here which is a 2021 with only 18,000 miles on it because we had a slow leak in the rear tire, damn nails. After waiting inside for 35 minutes he said let's go out and see the tire. He measured the tread depth and said that we only had 2/32 of tire tread and he couldn't repair it, but he could get me in right away and put on 4 new tires. I told him we rotate the tires every 5,000 miles like recommended and he said he couldn't put a patch on the tire. I left here and went down to Another box tire store and they repaired it for me. They also stated that 2 tires were at 6/32 and 2 were at 8/32. When I actually need tires on my car I will not be going to Discount Tire. I'm sure my business doesn't mean anything to them, they were really busy, but that's not how they should be doing business. read more

Although I've spent a fair amount of my time in the area the last year or so, I had no need for anything related to tires...but having had good success with other Discount Tire locations, gave this one a shot. Due to Covid, they had an exterior check-in station, where I explained that my tire was going flat. There was a short wait, and unfortunately I found that my tire could not be repaired. That said, the folks here were knowledgeable, honest, gave me options, and when the new tire replacement happened, it was relatively quick. I was very happy with my experience at Discount Tire in Canton. I realized my tire had a leak the day before leaving for a road trip. I called Discount Tire and explained my predicament. They told me they do walk in fixes and at the time, the wait would be about 40 minutes. I had two small children with me but came in and my car was taken care of promptly. We waited maybe an hour while it was replaced. They have a large window looking into the garage which my son was glued to most of the time. They were courteous and prompt. Literally left a very uneasy feeling in my stomach after visiting this location for something extremely simple. I brought my fairly new vehicle here only because it was walking distance from my job. I had a slow leak in one of my tires from hitting the track at car wash which caused a bubble in the sidewalk. I figured it's not a big deal let me just drop it off and let them replace it with a new tire. I paid $230 for one single tire - no issue. The guy tells me he will have it done by 330pm. Also, no issue. An hour later i'm getting a phone call about "swollen" lug nuts which had to be forcibly removed. Not only did they not call me with the information about the said "swollen" lug nuts, they lied to me and said that they forcibly removed them and that I would have to pay an additional $135 for 5 lug nuts. I was extremely angry because you're legally supposed to call a customer before doing anything extra to a customers car but when I show up I have the exact same lug nuts on my car that I came in with. Obviously they tried to scam me out of an additional $135 bucks. Never will i return, also will be letting the corporation that I work with to never do business with them. 2 thumbs down. read more

Was a good experience but got home and my Veloster was missing a lug nut on every wheel... Nathan said they had to remove the security lug nuts and said they might be scratched up a bit which was fine because i forgot to bring the security key. But they never told me i was gonna be driving home missing 4 lug nuts because my security lug nuts were damaged too much to reuse.. Unacceptable, they sell wheels and tires but don't have extra lug nuts for customers who just paid almost a grand? I called them to let them know about what happened and was told that driving with 4 of 5 lug nuts was safe multiple times and was never offered any compensation or discount.. They didn't even offer to replace the missing lug nuts, NOTHING! Seems letting customers drive off with missing lug nuts is a common practice judging by how they sounded on the phone.... Like it wasn't that big of a deal! This is a big deal and a safety hazard! Poor communication! I just can't believe they let me drive home without even telling me? Disappointed! read more

Had no issues with this place, I'll definitely be coming back! Will was the man who took care of my car issues and boy was he great! Personable, efficient, fast and friendly. This is a busy discount tire but they work hard to make it a smooth and fast transition. Knowledgeable staff and whether you know zero or little about cars, they'll be of excellent assistance. Had to wait an hour and a half but this place is so great it's no wonder they're busy! 15 or so chairs available to wait in with water and coffee if you need it. 4 or 5 cars are being worked up at a time, they'll take good care of it! read more
