I call BC Heat and Air due to an inoperable furnace. They tech arrived when promised on the same day that i called. Quickly diagnosed the problem and turns out new furnace was needed. They were able to install unit the next day. Workers were fast and cleaned up afterwards. Owner Tim came by on 2 occasions to check on progress of work. Tim also followed up the next day to see how the new unit was working. His hands on approach was impressive and appreciated. I will use them again if needed. read more

Excellent customer service and fair in price. Called Tim the owner at 0730 Saturday technician was at home by 0900. It was determined that the furnace needed to be replaced. Within an hour Tim and Sean arrived with new unit. Total completion by mid noon. I appreciate Kevin's upfront honesty by not charging me $$$ to repair it for a short time and end up having to replace it anyway. Also very neat installation and cleanup afterwards. STAY AWAY! Scheduled an appointment for my AC -- not working. Called the day of my appointment at 8am to confirm appt. "Yes will be there." Called at time of appt and he said "we will be there later." Called later and he said "what's your address and cross street?" "I have a guy close to you in Canton." End of the day comes and --NO CALL NO SHOW--!! Awful! I called 3 times to confirm appt and YES we will be there. They left me high and dry in 90 degree temps and no call back. Now I need to wait another week on a reputable HVAC company to come and fix my AC issues. Steer clear of this company and call Family Heating & Cooling. They respect their customers! read more

Well, must say most small company family owned here in my area are really super. Seems this one lacks what the other small business have. I was told to call Saturday morning so I did right after they opened. The person i was to speak with was off a few days so told to call back this morning. I did and that was like 7 or more hours ago and I left a message to call me. Nope has not happened. The last time I did call was really a joke. The guy told me that they did not work on my type of furnace air conditioner. Hmmm, is this suppose a Heating & Cooling Company or what? Seems the owner has his mother who has the same furnace and he helps her and also was just at my neighbors an helped her. What the heck...so here is the rating just for you. My air conditioner stopped working today while I was at work. I came home and my house was 88 degrees. I called Tim at Belleville-Canton Heating and Cooling. I was not surprised that I had to leave a voicemail for him, considering it was 91 degrees outside and I'm sure many people were in similar situations that I was in. I was surprised when Tim called me back at 9:30pm and came to my house at 9:45. He replaced a part and had my AC working by 10:00! Who does calls that late at night? I had previously worked with Belleville Canton Heating and AC two months prior to my current issue and the service was very poor, rude and expensive. I was charged $200 for less than 30 mins of work and I feel the issue was not serviced properly. When I called back regarding my current issue as it was very similar I was talked to in a very rude manner and was informed he would call me back in a few days when he could fit me in his schedule. (note: 5 days later and still no call) Since I was very displeased with our phone conversation I looked for another service company. This upset me as I like to support local business but BC HVAC made it impossible to continue to support them. After reading several reviews about Crain Heating and Cooling I decided to call them. I called during what seemed to be a very busy morning for them. However staff was still very pleasant and was able to get me on the schedule that day. Tech Jason arrived on site five hours after my trouble call. Jason was able to fix issue in less than 30 mins and only charged me for the service call. It was by no means a big job for Crain but it was important to me and they understood that. I will have Crain come out and do a full inspection to assure I have no surprises when I start using the furnace portion again. If you want friendly, fast, and a good price call Crain!! Otherwise feel free to work with Belleville Canton Heating and Cooling but be prepared to be disappointed. read more

Tim who seemed to be a nice guy came out to my house to diagnose a problem with my furnace. After going through multiple tests, it was determined that it may be the smart valve. Tim told me if that's the issue that I may as well replace the entire furnace for $2300 instead of just replacing the part which he did not have ($500 w/labor). Since I wasn't prepared to spend that kind on money at that time, he decided to replace the hot surface ignitor and charged me $250. Needless to say, it did not correct the issue. The next day I did hear from him only to ask if I wanted to replace the furnace. A couple of days later I attempted to call him and only got his voicemail. I explained that I didn't have the $2300 but I wanted to just replace the smart valve. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM SINCE!!! So Tim got my $250, furnace was still broken and I was literally left out in the cold!! If you're in the market for a new furnace salesman he may be your guy. If not, BEWARE... read more
