I had a very disappointing experience at Bellflower Bagel. The customer service was extremely poor, and both owners were disrespectful toward customers and employees. I personally witnessed employees being spoken to in an unprofessional manner and customers being treated disrespectfully. I also observed behavior that I found very concerning, including the owner making inappropriate comments about people's race and making fun of customers when their cards were declined. In addition, I saw conditions that raised health concerns, including mice and roaches in the establishment and food being prepared without gloves. I was in the area so I decided to check out one of my old haunts for a bagel. I used to frequent this place when I worked out this way. The bagels here are coming straight out the oven. That's a plus for me. Only thing is sometimes you have to wait. Service was great just like I remember. I was bummed to find out when I got home home one of the bagels had a hair growing out of it. Bagel went straight to the trash. Hairnets would probably solve this problem. Be aware next time you pick up some bagels here. Aside from that the other bagels were good. Hygienic update: This location is busy on the weekends and bagels will run out! Stopped by here on Thanksgiving morning and the drive thru was long, so I went inside instead! The owner actually had her from door wide open so I walked in and said hello. She was very friendly and told me come on in and I may ordered. She was busily seating up for her day but was very attentive to me . Loved that, so I asked for a recommendation and she suggested bagel on ham I choose bacon instead . The bagel was fresh soft and big. The eggs were freshly scrambled not fake eggs. You can actually see the bacon not too hard and not too soft or overcooked. Delicious. I didn't get a fountain drink but instead picked a power aide with a cup of eyes. No inside seating which understand due to COVID so I sat outside.
