We had a wonderful visit to YOLO Cafe for Father's Day. It's a cozy lil' spot in a small plaza. They have comic books and games, which makes it great for working or just hanging out. Just so you know, there is no restroom available. We shared a few drinks, and my fav' was the strawberry matcha! The banana matcha was good too, but the strawberry one really stood out. The coconut matcha was a bit plain for my taste. The lemonade was very sour, but in a good way! All the croffles were tasty, or as my 9-year-old says, "bussin"! Briscoff croffle though! The staff was really friendly, which made our visit even better. My son was excited to get some free cards for his collection, including a Monkey D. Luffy card! That made his day special. What a gem of a coffee shop! Tucked away in the corner of a mini plaza, this place is easy to miss but absolutely worth seeking out. The menu has a ton of options, and I'd say there's truly something for everyone. I got to try the Banana Matcha, and my goodness it was phenomenal. They use real banana, the flavor tasted fresh and natural, with no artificial syrups or overly sweet aftertaste. I also ordered the Chestnut Coffee, and wow. The espresso was bold and flavorful while still maintaining a perfect balance of sweetness. The foam on top deserves its own shoutout! thick, creamy, rich, and incredibly satisfying with every sip. The barista (possibly the owner?) was incredibly kind and welcoming. You could tell he genuinely cared about both the quality and presentation of the drinks. Not only are they Instagram worthy, but they're delicious too a combination that's harder to find than you'd think. The interior is adorable, with comfortable seating areas and fun touches throughout. I loved spotting the little decorations around the shop, Pokémon and one piece. I came on a Thursday afternoon and stayed from about 3:00 to 7:30 PM studying, and it was the perfect environment to get work done while enjoying great coffee. Recommended by my friends. I got the melon drink with added boba. Drink itself was okay. Nothing special. I just think it's too expensive. This is $6+ .75 to add boba. The barista is so sweet and friendly, I came here to study and I felt comfortable to stay, the pistachio coffee was perfect! Not too strong and not too sweet. The peach green tea was bomb! When we entered I will say it was great customer service. They were kind and my order came out in a good time. We got an m&m candy for waiting which was nice of them. This place is first and foremost a boba spot. Their matcha looked good and I wanted to give them a try. I ordered a lotus matcha with almond milk and 50% sweetness. The cream top was the perfect consistency and what I love on matcha...but the actual drink wasn't it. It didn't taste like quality match and more of a green tea latte you buy with boba. It tasted sweet and overall felt as if I was drinking sugar. For boba? This place looks great and I'm sure does amazing! But for good matcha? I'll pass. read more

The owner is incredibly kind--he even gave us a little cake since we were the only ones there for a bit while studying. There's lots of seating, plenty of outlets, and the ambience is great. It had a banana whipped topping and real bananas in the drink so that was a nice surprise. You get a little pocky to eat with it that you stir your drink with you still will need a straw! The chocolate matcha my boyfriend got was also very good. He felt like there was a little too much topping, and it was very rich. That subjective though if it's a good or bad thing. He was nice to encounter as he had great customer service, greeted with a smile and was patient while I ordered.
