$10 footlong sub, chips, drink, and a doughnut Sub was really good! I got the Italian, which I think tastes better than Subway. You have a choice of wheat or white French bread. I got white and it was amazing. I deducted a Star because I did have to wait a while as Chris the owner was the only one there. I understand, he just opened but he's going to need help. Overall a great place to stop for lunch or quick snack and sweet fix. They have, smoothies (also with boba), small snacks, subs, doughnuts, and ice cream station coming very soon! As well fancy doughnuts! To top it off Chris is SUPER nice and helpful. Definitely stop by, try it out.

My best friend's mom lives down the street from this Doughnut shop. Her kids have literally grown up, walking two blocks away to get donuts their whole life. Today the tradition still lives on . My best friend's been on a very strict regimen because of cancer . She's decided to stop and her first Naughty craving was donuts from her donut shop ! I ran right over! They recognize the order. A true hidden Gem in the city of Southgate . Yeah you probably heard all doughnut places are the same but I disagree . The first thing I noticed coming in was the friendly greeting the owner gave me and my wife . It was close to closing time but we were never rushed and we received great service. The doughnuts themselves were delicious . We had driven by many times and notice customers were always coming in & out. So we had to try for ourselves. So there it is we bought a dozen doughnut and every bite was great. Nice fluffy and tasty just what you want in a doughnut. They also have an extensive selection of sandwiches which I will try on my next visit ! read more

Literally the BEST donut shop ever! I always get a croissant breakfast sandwich with jalapeños and it never fails to taste amazinggggg I've grown up down the street from this place and I would go here in the morning sometimes for donuts or boba. I live in paramount now, but I still 100% vouch for this place as the best spot for breakfast, donuts, and drinks. Their Thai tea is literally the best, and their donuts are always fresh and fluffy. The staff are always friendly and quick to start on your order. You won't ever have to wait long. Hardworkers, they definitely deserve to have traffic in their business! Plus the seats next to the large windows make a rather cozy atmosphere. Definitely come here whenever you're craving breakfast food. read more

I don't usually rave about donuts, but these donuts are really good. So soft and fluffy, the donuts holes are probably the best I've had since I was a kid. The chocolate twist is so good as well, I been wanting a chocolate iced donut and every place I've gone to didn't taste like actual chocolate. This one does. Love love love. Not too many reviews so I wanted add input. Found this place on Yelp as we needed to pick up sandwiches before our flight from LAX, that was open early (8am) and not a chain. We try to support small businesses when possible. We only got sandwiches and coffee but they had the standard donuts, holes, muffins and croissants. Big variety of coffee drinks. Was also impressed with the kolaches (pizza, and I think other meats - 3 total?). They also had these cute pastries with fruit/cheese. If I wasn't cutting back on carbs carbs I'd order a few. Swing by if you need to get food before your LAX flights and support a small business! I had seen on instagram that they were reopened, so I had to come and support. I ordered a egg, ham, and cheese sandwich on a croissant, and to my surprise it was massive and loaded with cheese. It was absolutely delicious and was large enough to feed two people. I also ordered a thai tea with boba which was also amazing. I will definitely be returning for the great sandwiches, donuts, and especially the thai tea. They have great customer service and deserve the community's support! read more

They are recently under new management but the service was excellent, the new owners are incredibly nice. The thai tea was amazing and the breakfast sandwiches are to die for, it was so delicious the croissant absolutely makes the entire sandwich! Also grabbed a dozen donut holes and they were fresh. I came here randomly in between doing laundry because I was super hungry. Their breakfast sandwiches were really delicious, and their boba is really good too. Their dozen donuts are very cheap but delicious. They include two specialty or large donuts per dozen as well. They also have thrifty ice cream for $1 on Tuesdays. History

Established in 1980.

Originally, this donut shop was named “Sweet Stuff Doughnuts” and owned by a friendly, married couples for a while, until they retired. Recently, Chris (the owner) decided to buy this donut and revamp the place by adding new items on the menu like subs, smoothies, breakfast croissants, oatmeal bowls, salads, thrifty ice cream and iced coffee. This donut shop recently got renamed simply to “Sweet Stuff” to keep some part of the original (80’s) name. Furthermore, management is currently adding new things almost every week from new equipment to new menu items that’ll improve the business. It’s currently still getting noticed, but has many customers already coming back!

She was super sweet and took my order and was very helpful and patient. We ordered out 35 Ham, Cheese & Egg sandwiches and she even gave us a 10% discount! Placed a 50% deposit to secure our meal over the phone and the rest was paid the day of. One of our directors went to pick up the meal and he said he had a great experience as well. Everything was ready to go on time and nice and hot. Unfortunately I was unable to try the sandwich as I was not apart of the crew this year but I heard great things from my coworkers!! Their theme is Friends and being a fan of the show, I think there is potential to get more creative with their decor. I do like that they have books and boardgames for their guests. They also keep the music level down making the coffee house a very cozy place. I want congratulate Cake and Coffee House for creating a such special menu. I'm looking forward to $5 crepes on Fridays and more yummy drinks from you guys in the near future.

This place is under new ownership. Finally a place near home where I can grab a decent cup of coffee or a quick sub for lunch. This is my new go to spot. Coffee taste good now. I've always been a donut kind of guy (Tradition if you know what I mean)!!! The coffee quality is unique. I don't have to add so much creamer to cover up the bitter taste (of other coffee places). This is probably my favorite place to get a sub it's cheap it's local and it's way better than subway. They also got really good boba smoothies that just go great with the sub. I'm never been a huge fan of donuts but these have changed my mind. The customer service is great and definitely recommend stoping by. read more

They have the best Tuna and Turkey sandwiches that I ever had before. Their ice coffee, Thai ice tea and smoothies were fantastic and their Ham and cheese were delicious. Staff is awesome and They have a great selection of different breakfast sandwiches and donuts! I come here almost every weekend to get their bacon egg and cheese with iced coffee and it always hits the spot! Definitely a great place for a quick breakfast! read more
