First, Jamaal London was fantastic. If I were rating based on him it would be 4 stars. Learning how to load and properly make use of all the space would bump him up to five stars. Really professional, kind, hustled and was on time. Fabio was friendly, however he was very lazy and arrived late. He was there for an hour and half, used the bathroom twice and left the door open which allowed my cat to escape. With me specifically saying, don't let my cat out. Luckily, I found her roaming the halls downstairs close to the door that leads out. This would have been a scathing review if I lost her. The first hour they took 3-4 items out of the house. Very slow, I think because it was pretty much a one man team. Fabio carried small items, talked too much and just seemed to drag his feet and be lazy. I cut him loose early because I, a 37 year old 5'7" woman was moving boxes faster than he was. The point of hiring your company was to not have to move. Very disappointing. Also your name is Bellhops and you're a moving company but had no dolly or moving equipment, slightly bizarre. Won't be using them or recommending. I'll find alternate options to unload my equipment in a week. read more

I booked Bellhops thru Amazon Home Services. I was contacted by them and everything was verified. But 3 guys were verified and only 2 showed up. This caused us to not get everything we needed to done. If they weren't able to find a third guy, I really wish they would have told us so we could adjust our schedule. The 2 guys that came were awesome. I would have used this company again for sure if they had only fulfilled their end. Update 01/27/2016: Bellhops contacted us to apologize and try to make it right. They gave us a partial refund to help us with what we had to pay to hire additional help the following weekend. Great customer service. read more

After reading numerous reviews on Yelp I decided to book 2 movers to unload my Uhaul into my new second floor apartment. Great decision which I will repeat!! They confirmed the day before via email with pics and profiles of the bellhops that would arrive the following day. The captain called me an hour before my move to assure me that all was on schedule and even offered to bring me and my wife a coffee. They moved everything very quickly and safely! They offered to assist with setting up beds and other home furnishings. They were amazing!!! Great value and super friendly staff! I was doing a lot of research for moving companies and came across a Groupon for Bellhops and I'm so happy I did. Booking them was very easy and all done online. Michael called me before my move to confirm and let me know they would be there on time. Conor was perfectly on time and started working right away, while Michael got a little turned around and was a few minutes late, but I can't complain! My complex is confusing and he charged me 15 minutes less even though I don't think he was a full 15 minutes late. You could tell they were very good at what they do. I was moving into a townhome with a flight of stairs that has a landing that you have to turn on. I was concerned about nicking my new walls but was very quickly put at ease with the care that Michael and Conor took to protect my new home and my furniture. They were very quick and efficient! Made everything look very easy. I already have plans to use Bellhops to move my furniture when I get my floors done and my sister will be using them soon too. read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! The "lead" of our move did not show up and apparently told their office that he was not coming. Which left us with the "helper" who had zero equipment and had no idea what was going on, not his fault and was a nice enough guy. The office wanted us to reschedule the move but its an apartment...on the weekend. We couldn't move the lease date so we had to make it work with myself and the "helper." Had to damage sheets and blankets to make the move happen. Absolute shit show. read more

Would NOT recommend these movers. Two kids (very small, not at all capable of moving bigger furniture) showed up with absolutely no equipment. No dollies, and the worse thing, no wrapping paper or anything to protect furniture. My $800 tufted fancy couch (which is the only piece of furniture I own that I truly love) was completely ruined. BEWARE of BELLHOP! If I could give no stars I would. I hired Bellhop a month in advance and on morning of move when they were supposed to arrive at 9am they called and said running late with truck so 1030am. Then at 10:30am they called and said one of the two scheduled movers had a personal emergency so maybe 2pm but possibly the move could not happen that day. Obviously, that was and is unacceptable as I had to be out of my one rental by end of day and in my new rental before 5pm for loading. They were the absolute worst at communication and feel like I was lied to as when I said just send the truck and one driver that could not be done as that mover also then had other moves to do. It made no sense at all. They apologized and said sorry can't find movers and left us high and dry. No offer of compensation, no solutions, nothing except a have a nice day. Never had a moving experience as bad as this in my life and I am in real estate so have moved and seen moves many, many, times. read more

I used Bellhops for my move from downtown Denver to Castle Rock and could not have asked for a better experience. I was extremely anxious about the move, especially because the freight elevator doesn't work in the building I moved out of and my fiancé couldn't be there for the actual move. I was able to book with Bellhops on Wednesday for a Friday move which was a major reason I chose to go with this company. Matthew H and Connor R showed up right on time and had absolutely no issues moving all my big furniture out of the cramped high rise. The truck made it to Castle Rock in good time for a Friday during rush hour and the move in was quick and and painless. I ordered a loading/unloading service with truck from Bellhops on 6/25/19 for the next day (that's 6/26/19). I requested three men and Bellhops assigned Christian M., Macari H. and Elias R.. My house was three bedrooms house with two story and the one I would move-in was apartment with two bedrooms in ground floor. Before moving into my house, I used to live in an apartment with two bedrooms in the second floor. I am giving this detail because when I moved into my house, I ordered a service from U-Haul website and requested only two men. I drove the U-Haul truck myself. Those two men loaded and unloaded my stuffs less than 4.5 hours. Because of that, I ordered a service from Bellhops for 4 hours with three men. I requested three men; it was because I bought treadmill, washer&dryer and desk when I moved in the house. These are the only additional items I added to my stuffs. But Bellhops system suggested me to hire four men for six hours. I didn't accept their suggestion because of having experience with U-Haul mover helpers. Although they suggested four men and I requested three men, one of them didn't show up at all (Elias). When I requested the service, Bellhops sent me an estimated cost ($845.00). Their hourly rate was reasonable with three men and truck ($179/hr). However, it didn't show what costs how much. I learned it after I got final bill. Although they called me in the day I ordered the service and asked me if I had question about anything, they didn't tell me what costs how much. Here costs break-down: Christian ($84/hr), Macari ($30/hr), Truck ($35/hr) = $149/hr (w/o 3rd person). I paid $218.75 for the truck. If I knew the price of truck, I wouldn't request it at all. Instead, I would rent U-Haul truck and it was going to cost me around $100 with everything. If you want to request truck service from Bellhops, keep this information in mind. As I said, only two men showed up during the service. Christian was leading everything and loading took a bit more than 3 hours. When three hours passed, Christian told me that truck couldn't stay with us more two hours total service requested, that's, since I requested the service for 4 hours, truck could stay with us for mostly 6 hours. Therefore, he wanted to stop loading and go to other home for unloading. However, there were still many small items at home to be moved. At this point, it is worth mentioning that truck was big one. My stuffs occupied a little more space than half of the truck's container, that's nearly half of the container was empty. Moving helpers put my stuffs to the bottom of the container. From front to back, container was full, but from top to bottom, only half of them was occupied. Interestingly, when the container was full from front to back, Christian came to me and said that truck couldn't stay with us more than 6 hours in total. At that moment, he also said that only a few small items were left and you could carry them. Yes, we moved them out ourselves with a van by running three times. BTW, when I asked Christian why the third person didn't show up, he said he would join during unloading, but he didn't. After unloading was done, moving helpers clocked out but they helped me 15 more minutes to carry treadmill within the home, that's, they didn't charge it to me. I liked pricing strategy of Bellhops because they charge for every 15 min. I found it very fair. As a result, whole service took 6.15 hours. After this service, I was charged $1060.25 ($525 for Christian, $187.50 for Macari, $218.75 for truck and $129 base fee). Then, I gave them a call and complained about their service. In response, they offered 15% off and my final bill became $901.22. At the end of the day, I was unhappy with their service. This is my first and last time with Bellhops. I will go with U-Haul mover helpers in the future. read more

We used bellhops to move out of our 3rd story apartment. The guys were amazing! ( Riley and Benjamin were our movers) They showed up right on time, and worked so hard! They had such positive attitudes and were so incredibly helpful during the move. We cannot believe how fast we got everything done. The service was also amazing, we were notified by text when our time started and we're promptly notified when the guys " checked out". We discussed with them before they started that we were hoping to stay within 2 hours and they made it happen! We will absolutely use them for any future moves and would recommend to all our friends. DON"T TRUST THIS COMPANY. This was a nightmare from the beginning. They called and told us the movers would be late, and asked us to call back to confirm. On hold for 45 minutes to talk with someone who was apologetic. At 5 when they rescheduled, only one mover showed up. There was no way he would be able to move the heavy pieces alone. Again on hold for half hour, was told they were sorry. SORRY? What on earth was I to do? We were supposed to leave later that night. Left us in a total panic. Love! I was hesitant to use a moving company because I've never seen that much value in it since my friends are usually willing to help. From here out I will be using Bellhops and recommend you do too! They were so efficient and friendly. It was nice to ask them to move something and they immediately, with a smile, picked it up and got it out of the way. Friends don't always do that without a drink or two. I randomly chanced upon Bellhops while looking at various moving services. I had already secured a UHaul, so only needed attentive movers to help lift heavy furniture. Admittedly, I made the reservation with very little notice, but was delighted to receive an email confirming my move details within an hour. I requested 2 bellhops to help move furniture from one apartment to another. The two bellhops arrived right on time, and with smiles on their faces. They were very positive, attentive, and hard-working. We were able to get everything moved within an hour and fifteen minutes, and they were a delight to be around. They were happy to arrange things as I requested, and didn't have the chip on their shoulders that I've seen with 'professional' moving companies. Not only were the bellhops great, but as we had not used the entire amount of time I had requested, I saw an updated invoice with a reduced amount within 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this service. For the price of paying the bellhops and renting a UHaul for the day, you'll save a good amount of money (versus paying for a larger moving company), and will end up with enthusiastic movers. read more

First, the guys were very personable and nice. Unfortunately, they were not great movers. Every piece of furniture has a scratch or damage that I didn't notice initially...because they just left a pile of furniture in the living room on it's side, and left the rest in the garage. I am a 70 year old woman who can not move furniture, which they knew. They had not plastic wrap and asked me for moving tape to tape doors. We had 2 stops, a main floor apartment and a storage locker. They just randomly put things in the truck, then had to move them again when we got to storage, which took time and was not useful. I was told several times there would be a charge if we ran late, which was fine. Only at 3:45, when the move was scheduled for 1 to 4, was I told they had to leave as they had another move. They could not move the rest of the furniture into the house, or organize the existing furniture, as had been promised. When I called customer service they told me their movers could leave any time they wanted to. I was told they would send more movers out...at a charge...in a week or so probably. They refunded me the $60 they charged for an extra 30 minutes, and $60 for my "trouble". So far I have had to take an extra day from work, and hired another person to move furniture at a cost of $200. Oh...they also did not take all the furniture from the original location and I spent an entire day getting that in my car and driving it, while paying another $100 for help. This has been a nightmare. Not because the guys were bad...they just weren't movers. read more
