I spent thousands of dollars with EZ Moving for both my move and storage. The movers were polite, but the overall experience has been extremely disappointing. First, they damaged a dresser during the move and, even though I paid for insurance, they made it extremely difficult to be reimbursed - requiring that I find a replacement leg from the manufacturer, repair it myself, then they would pay for parts. Now, months later, they've decided to double my monthly storage rate without any meaningful explanation. The contacted rates of $75/mo per 30 square foot "vault" were already on the high end of climate controlled storage costs. The new $150/mo is unethical gouging. After investing so much, I expected honesty and accountability. Instead, I've been met with poor communication and shifting prices. I would not recommend EZ Moving for anyone looking for reliable long-term storage or customer service that stands behind its work. read more

I thought the guys did a good job overall but they left some of my furniture and boxes on the elevator at the storage. The storage manager called me and indeed they had left items. That meant we had to go back after they unloaded at my home to get the remaining items. I was not happy but very tired and had to pay for the mistake. Also there was some damage to the edges is furniture and broken items. I warned that I have a lot of glass art and decor and everything was marked glass and fragile. The truck they arrived in was not marked with the logo and the men seemed tired when they got there, but they pushed through it all and were nice. I am pretty certain all these moving companies are price fixing but the only proof I have is that despite differences in the way they structure the rate it comes out exactly the same . I hope I am wrong (thats rare lol). I used three men for my move, two would never have finished in less than 8 hours although they recommend two if your place is more than one bedroom you'll pay way too much. read more

We are getting quotes for a cross-country move (CO to MA) and Mario/EZ Moving was recommended highly by Seven Brothers, another highly rated moving company in CO that doesn't do interstate moves when we needed it. Mario was a pleasure to work with and came out to our house to see everything we had before providing a quote. He kindly provided two quotes for two different size trucks since we could have maybe made the smaller one work. He sent the quotes quickly after his visit and they were by FAR the most competitive of all the quotes we got. Every other company we talked to just farmed us out to a van line, which is universally known to be a terrible way to do it (not to mention thousands and thousands more, how?!). Mario would actually drive the truck himself, dedicated truck, and meet us on the other end. Truly this is the only way to do it, and is a rare find. Ultimately because of timing with selling our house and buying a new one, we are going to use a pod instead of Mario. But hands down Mario is the way to go for a moving truck and movers. These guys where absolutely great! They showed on time, they worked none stop and they knew what they were doing. However, I didn't plan accordingly. If you've never used movers before, don't assume you're going to pay within that time frame they quoted. They worked over the 2 hours, because I have more stuff then funiture and we were moving everything to storage. I ended paying $350 over the 2 hour quoted amount! It really hurt my heart because it was money I didn't have. Like I said before these guys are great! But shop around for cheaper movers. I hired them to move a 1-bed apartment about a 5 min distance. I had already moved out with essentials so it was mostly furniture and a few heavy-ish or bulky items. Before moving: EZ Moving was very accommodating when I needed to pull up the move date. They digitally send a legitimate signed contract up front which is nice. My only comment is it would be nice for the contract to state the quoted price for easy reference. Kelvin called a few days in advance to ask if I have any questions and confirm. Moving: My start time window was 8-9am and Kelvin called right around 8 to let me know their ETA. They showed up when they said they would, we did a walk through, and they got started. They did a very thorough job shrink wrapping (with blanket under) all my furniture, put on the mattress bag (I provided), disassembled the bed, and handled all my items with care. Now, it was only a 1-bed apartment worth of furniture & misc items with only a 5 minute drive between but they were packed up in an hour and unpacked in an hour (including re-assembly), therefore only costing me the initially quoted 2 hours. And the guys were very polite and easy to communicate with during the move. Comparison & afterthought: I didn't find damage or other issues since they left. In the past I have had movers take way too long and blowing up my budget/initial quote so I have gotten weary and better prepare over the next several moves. I was prepared with only a certain amount of cash in hand and was going to make sure we stay on time. But I never needed to supervise EZ Moving guys! I think sometimes people get sticker shocked because they don't take into account the drive time in between and that's pretty important. Speaking of driving, I drove behind them and they stayed within the speed limit, didn't take harsh turns, and generally drove in a manner that made me feel secure that my stuff isn't sloshing around and getting damaged. All in all, a fabulous experience with EZ moving and I will hire them again next time. read more

Wow, what can I say...when our original mover bailed, EZ Moving came to the rescue at the last minute, very professional, very reasonable and very reliable! Called them after 5:30pm, the day our original mover left us hanging and they were at our home by 8:30AM the next morning, had us completely moved out by noon that day. Three young men, positive attitudes, ready to work hard, wrapped everything in plastic, very careful, did not hit one wall, packed the truck carefully and unpacked the truck into our storage unit carefully. Previous and New clients please take the time to read this: If I could put ZERO stars, I would. I've moved over a dozen times and this is by far the worst company to work with and trust with your belongings, money, time and even mental health. I called around for quotes and after speaking with Mario he seemed very charismatic and told me my belongings would be safe with the requests I had made for packaging glass and sentimental items. He sent over a contact which I signed but didn't see the requests I made on their contract. Working with the company for the first time how am I suppose to know what's supposed to be on their terms and conditions to begin with when we made a verbal agreement? The movers showed up and they were really nice and handled my items with care and did their best to not damage anything during the move. Once we got to our new destination he told me my huge $800 gold antique mirror and a glass painting shattered during the move. I contacted Mario immediately and he said I didn't request for the items to be wrapped. I said wait a minute- we verbally spoke specifically regarding the glass items and you gave me your word they would be wrapped and packaged per my request. He said "I speak to hundreds of people a week and you signed a contract." I was shocked at his response for being a first time client. I said how am I suppose to know what an initial contract should look like when it's my first time working with you?! He said there's nothing I can do, I'm not going to replace your glass on both of your damaged items- I'll give you a 10% discount instead- sorry. A 10% discount with an inauthentic apology?! My sentimental items are worth a 10% discount and a crappy apology?! The 10% discount equaled to $40. I said I asked for my valuables to be wrapped and packaged - I have all my other items wrapped in a photo but 2 items, which happened to be the 2 items that broke! The movers even told me, we forgot to wrap them and strap those items down. So even with the movers admitting fault the unprofessionalism coming from management and owner (Mario & Calvin) was completely heartbreaking. After Mario and I were yelling back and forth (yes, the manager was yelling at me while I was trying to stay firm to our verbal agreement) he proceeded to tell me "you know what, I'm taking back the 10% I offered you!) Is this a joke?! Is this real?! Is this how a small company really treats clients and yells at women?! I threatened to sue due to our "binding/verbal contract" and he said if you don't pay me in full with the 10% discount I'm taking back I will send you to collections!! I hung up. This is disgusting, disturbing, and vial behavior. What originally started as a quote of $300 ended up being $800 with tip. Mario even said at one point "If you're so dissatisfied with our service don't tip our drivers if it's about money but you will pay us in full." I'm still shocked! (I waited a week to write this review to try and remove the emotion- clearly I'm still pained by my experience). You're supposed to be the leader of a company and you don't want your people to get tipped despite how disappointed I am?! I blame the leaders in this situation- Calvin (the owner) and Mario (the manager). For lack of training, control, and guidness to their employees as well for the shame they should feel on discrediting their word with something we agreed on over the phone and yelling at a first time client, especially a woman!! Where is your professionalism?? The move cost more than my shattered items. All the glass from my items were swept onto the street. My husband had to sweep and individually pick up each piece of broken glass so our neighborhood wouldn't drive over it or the children and dogs that play on our street don't get hurt. I'm a very understanding person, accidents happen, but it's how people go about it that can make a terrible situation into a positive one. Wow! These men move FAST!! I was quoted an arrival time of between 8-9am. They showed up right before 8:30 and loaded everything from my 3 bedroom (WITH basement) house. They took time to wrap and cover furniture and my belongings were fully loaded less than two hours later! It was incredible! Mario was great at communicating what I should expect prior to their arrival and how I could best prepare for a seamless move. He also called to follow-up after the move to ensure everything went smoothly. I had friends waiting with me at the new home. Took almost 6 hours to move a one bedroom apartment. I was quoted two hours. They worked slow and I had to babysit the movers because they were wrapping items like a plastic shoe rack in plastic and not furniture like my entertainment center or dining room set which was of course damaged. No accountability for when workers are not doing their job because they fall back on the .60/lb for damaged items that was agreed on when hiring them. If they wrapped things properly then I wouldn't have damaged items. Complete scam!!! read more

Didn't bring enough guys; ignored my request that they get another guy on site to expedite. One room was entirely ignored, despite instructions on which rooms to clear out. Some possessions were damaged, which I now have to replace or repair. Trash was scattered across front lawn of destination, and left at initial moving location. Way over priced. Choose someone else. Update: There was a freezer full of food; I'll spare you the details because I don't want to be in doors longer than I have to with the smell from the byproduct of what happens when movers don't bother to check that the freezer is plugged into a working outlet. Rude and aggressive, cops called. Did not wear mask covering in the building were extremely hostile with the residents. Wrong. Your guys were physically jamming the elevator, your guys also told a pregnant lady and elderly lady to take the stairs cause they could use the exercise. Stand by my comments you all are rude and aggressive and the cops were called all while violating the state and city mandates of wearing face coverings. Video was started after your teams behavior had escalated the situation and right after your team started yelling Black Lives Matter like it was racial issue. I respect you want to get the job done for your paying clients but there are 20 other residents your teams actions were disrupting, we have had plenty other reputable moving companies move people in our building with zero issues. So again my personal experience with you lot company along with handful of other residents I spoke with who had the same experience in our building. There was only one gentleman that was the issue and I notice he isn't in any of your pictures. He seems to be a liability for you. read more

Very good price and communication especially as I was doing a last minute (2-3 days beforehand move). I would definitely recommend them for local jobs, as they charged about $225-250 for two hours and didn't upcharge me for an extra 5-15 minutes they spent unloading. I don't own any super- heavy or super specialized stuff (ie a large fishtank, a piano) that requires specialized skills or equipment to move, so I can't comment on that part. read more

Minor damage on the most recent move but one item out of everything is still outstanding! Not worth complaining. Especially since it was all done as quoted in time allotted. Amazing service!! I originally found EZ Moving on Thumbtack and followed up with Mario via email. He was quick to respond and we were able to set up a plan for our move fairly quickly with about 2 weeks notice. He gave me quotes for the move and it was very reasonable. Our move consisted of two apartments (DTC & Littleton) being moved into one apartment (Lakewood). Our moving team was Alexis and Alex and they were both great. They arrived at the first apartment and got us out of that space in good time. The second apartment was just as quick. Everything was unloaded into the new apartment and they asked where we wanted everything to go. I am kinda weird and like to move things myself once I see how things fit in the space so they put things in the general areas I wanted. I estimated the whole move would take around 6 hours but they got it done in a little under 4 hours. It was awesome! The total price was super affordable and our belongings all arrived in great shape, no damage was noted. I highly recommend EZ Moving. They saved us so much time and stress. Mario came over and did a detailed walkthrough of my previous residence before he gave me a quote. Which was very reasonable. I have an upright piano, which I was really nervous about. On the day of the move they arrived on time and worked incredibly hard to fit everything on the truck so we'd only have to take one trip. They even moved a few items we asked then about that I wasn't expecting they could actually move. And they took extra care of my previous piano, which was the most important piece of furniture. Every one of the movers, and Mario himself, were so diligent on making sure everything got in the correct solace at the new house too, in spite of my slight disorganization. The movers were SUPER nice and arrived on time but that's probably the only good thing I can say. Cons: *Took 6.5 hours to move a two bedroom apartment (furniture only no boxes/TVs/appliances) *Charged me for the lunch they stopped for on their way from my apartment to my house *BOTH movers took sh*t breaks in my home (also charged for that) *One mover kept talking about how he's never loaded a truck before and "it's a lot harder than it looks" (it was his first month working here so I get it) *They had to use our tools for disassembly and reassembly because they "lost" theirs *Forgot multiple items at our apartment so we had to move them ourselves *Lots of damage! The fabric on our couch was ruined. My fake plant was snapped in half! Our bedroom furniture is all scratched. *Left packing supply trash in my apartment Ok so some of these things are forgivable IF our move didn't take 6.5 hours. The movers were clearly inexperienced. When I discussed these issues with Mario he blamed the duration of the move on my hallway that is LESS THAN 60ft long. He said they don't cover plants (I was under the impression he meant real plants not decorations). So for all of my troubles he said he'd send me $120 ($0.60/lb for my 200lb couch that cost me over $5,000). He totally dismissed everything else and ignored my follow up emails. I lived in a 1 bedroom small apartment. It took them 7 hours to move me and it cost over $500 - not good. They broke two expensive picture frames and tore a new leather couch. I asked for support. I was told it didn't happen on the move and if it did I should have noticed. Don't use this company! My email response to the manager: Complete bullshit! Your moving guys broke two pictures and tore a couch. You even said the rip was hard to notice, but I'm faulted for not noticing on the move? I didn't fucking watch them carry every piece of furniture, if I did I would have seen the two breaks and the tear. I just unpacked the picture from where they set it. Poor business. Please make this right. I am out hundreds of dollars from a sub par move by your company. I guess just another bad review on Yelp.
