I have moved many, many times in my life and I have never had a better experience with movers than I had with Bellhop today. From the get go, they were prompt and professional. They treated my boxes and furniture as if they were the most valuable treasures in all the land. They had previously moved others into and out of my new apartment complex so they required no instructions or directions. They even provided tidbits of info about my new digs! Moving has always been a stressful and ulcer-inducing experience that required hours of therapy to recover from. I'd avoid moving at all if I could. However, the energy and care shown by Akia and Josh not only made this move tolerable, but actually quite pleasant! I would give Bellhop more stars if possible, but Yelp won't let me. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! They will BREAK YOUR STUFF! They are NOT trained movers. I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone. The first team we had, was great. The second team they sent to our house was the C-Team. They didn't use the straps or pads we provided and they dropped our $900 washing machine off of the dolly. The machine is OBVIOUSLY broken and now makes a horrible sound in the drum. Their claims team now suggests that our video of the machine making the sound is not proof that the machine is broken. Uh. Washers AREN'T SUPPOSED TO MAKE THAT SOUND! Now they want me to hook it up again and video it going through an hour plus wash cycle. They will make you jump through ridiculous hoops and insult you when they give you an "offer." They'll tell you that they want to make sure you're happy with the outcome, but that's just cheap talk. They don't actually mean it. They make a mockery of your claim and try to wear you down so you'll accept their extremely low-ball offer. Liked the punctual time and our mover moving of most of our stuff. However, one of the movers scheduled was a no show, so my friend and I helped with all of the moving work (from moving boxes out of the basement and up some stairs into our new house) to get the job done within four hours to not pay over time. The mattresses got very dirty because of the moving truck despite us helping move them "so they didn't get dirty" outside. We shouldn't have been expected to help since we paid for the service, but our assistance was never brought to attention. read more

A complete and utter nightmare experience!! We made a Bellhop reservation over a month before moving, and then we confirmed with them a week before that there would be two movers. Less than 24 hours before we were to move in (while we were in the process of driving across multiple states), they left a voicemail saying they would not be able to keep the appointment. We called them back and discussed with them, and they could not promise us even one mover when originally had reserved two movers. They offered us an appointment two days later with a small percent discount. Fortunately we were able to find another moving company, Pittsburgh Movers, who was able to fit us the day of--after they had already worked a full day, and they got it done quickly. I will never use Bellhop again, and they made the moving process, which is already stressful, a complete nightmare!! read more

I don't care to write bad reviews on businesses that didn't do well usually, I literally made this yelp account for this review because I am praying for some level of accountability. If you don't want to read all below just know, that if you book with Bellhop, it is within their policy to tell you at the moment of the booked appointment that they will no longer help you - their words not mine. Their policy is that they can bail on you at any time. If that's what you want during a big move, then you're at the right place. My partner and I moved across the country and had booked 2-3 movers from Bellhop weeks prior to our arrival. The day of, only ONE guy (albeit a nice guy) showed up and said, "This is too much for just me to do." and subsequently left. This left us with no movers and two moving containers that were going to be picked up by Uhaul 24 hours later. We tried to explain to them that this really screwed us and they said THEY DO NOT EVER GUARANTEE. So, if you put a deposit down for something as time specific and stressful as moving into an empty apartment, their policy is that they can screw you over and bail with a moment's notice and are relieved of any responsibility. More importantly, I'm seeing a lot of yelp reviews saying "wow they let us book super last minute!" and I'm now realizing that they don't give a shit about their word (even when money has already been given to them) and will take on new customers whilst literally leaving the previous bookings high and dry. I've worked in customer service for over a decade, I'm all for being understanding when mistakes happen. The thing is, this wasn't a mistake from their perspective and they refused to take any responsibility. I wish I were exaggerating. EDIT: I am seeing them respond to many reviews sharing the same experience as mine by saying, "This is rare! We always fulfill orders!" Literally, just look at the reviews and you'll see they are just flat out lying and trying to look halfway decent for future business. We gave them opportunities to make up for this. read more

I called upon Bellhops from a craigslist add, obviously completely interested in the price that was advertised. Moving drains your wallet, so I was looking for the best deal from a trustworthy company, and boy was I impressed! Being 8 months pregnant and needing to move in the middle of summer isn't idealistic. This company definitely came to the rescue. Thankfully, I was able to make a reservation within a few days from my move-in date, while all other movers were booked. Um, point 1 for Bellhops! Point 2 goes out to their AMAZING customer service line! Very friendly and knowledgeable! Point 3 goes to their employee's. I was impressed by the gentlemen that were assigned to help me out. They were very kind and respectful, on time and very quick! They didn't mess around at all, got my furniture into my new home within 15 minutes all while keeping a good attitude. I am so happy I was able to use this service, as I desperately needed it last minute. I recommend using this service 100%!!!! Will be using again when I make my next grand adventure! read more

Cameron and Everett is who I had, they worked hard for me and got everything done in 2 hours before that they had done 2 other moves for people. It's crazy how fast everything was done and done well. Bellhop gave me a huge truck that fit all my one bedroom one bath house in. It was much larger than I thought. Tremendous work and such of a good company to have a move with. This review is based on a short-notice reservation in Pittsburgh, PA. Since the website allows you to make same-day reservations, I assumed this is definetly an option. After the reservation was placed, I received a notification that the time slot I selected (11-11:30am) - according to the website, it was still available - may not be available BUT I would be contacted by someone shortly. Well, I was not contacted shortly, in fact, I was never contacted by anyone. So I called the customer service number and asked what had happened and I was basically told that movers are really only interested in full moves (pack, load, drive, unload, etc.) and not really in helping loading and/or unloading only. If that is the case, the service should not be offered on the website at all. I was also told that I would only be contacted if someone would agree to take on the job. Well, the customer rep offered to cancel my reservation, which I did, and my daughter and I ended up unloading everything ourselves which took us nearly 4 hours. To unload the couch I hired two delivery guys off the street ... they deserve a 5-star rating!!! Well, I then received an email that I had been refunded the Bellhop payment minus a 10% reservation fee (the website clearly states, "In minutes, get a free quote and book with $0 down.") I contacted Bellhop Inc. and told them that I disagreed with their charge since no service was ever provided. I do have to say that they quickly refunded the remaining 10%. read more

Don't use this company! 30 minutes before my move at 3 pm they started delaying. By 6 pm the move was cancelled with a 10% confidence to move the next day. This company is terrible. They don't care about your inconvenience. Luckily I did find another mover who did the move in under 3 hours ( not the 4 hours Bellhop quoted) at a cheaper hourly rate. They are easy to schedule online, but from my experience they are often late, over-charge, and have bad coordination between the movers and the truck driver (the truck belongs to anther company). In one case, the entire move had to be cancelled because too many of the guys were no shows. They're not reliable, but for the price quite mediocre. read more

At least everything got to my place in one piece. First they scheduled me for the wrong day. Then we had to reschedule for a crazy early time because that's the next time they had available, but I would have made it work. The day of the move, they were over 2 hours late and they couldn't give me updates throughout the process. It's now over 2 days later and I still haven't gotten my bill. I would have given one star, but since everything arrived undamaged, I gave 2. Update: When I finally received my bill, I was given a discount for the inconvience of the move. I was searching around for moving help before my move earlier this month and I am glad I stumbled upon Bellhops. Scheduling movers was surprisingly simple - they were able to accommodate my immediate need for movers (within a couple of days), which clearly shows their impressive resource management. The customer representative I spoke to was courteous and polite - within a matter of minutes the move was confirmed. The two movers arrived on time and started moving items immediately - no time was wasted and they were on a mission to get the job done; quickly and safely. Bellhops is an awesome company and their customer service is top notch (they even sent me a video thanking me for making use of their services. Did I just say 'video'? Yes, it's for real) All that being said, I wouldn't treat Bellhops as a replacement for professional moving services, especially if delicate/fragile items are involved. I am conflicted on this one. I had a two phased move (big house, loads of stuff, filled two PODS on consecutive weekends). I used Bellhops on both occasions with mixed results. The three guys I scheduled for the first phase never made it though Bellhops was able to find two guys an hour and a half away, after an hour of searching. We had most of the POD loaded by the time they arrived. I schedule two guys for the second phase though only one showed up. He and I moved most everything. Bellhops was able to send three guys a few hours later, but they were not able to stay till the end, leaving me doing a lot more work than I intended. The guys that they were able to secure and send were great, super helpful and willing to work though the scheduling errors are too much for them to get a better review. read more

So we booked Bell Hop movers for my 70 year old mother to help us move the big stuff. It rained off and on that day. They show up 30 minutes late and didn't start til 845 because the crew were complaining about being short because one of the guys was fired and they have another move at 3. They started wrapping furniture upstairs and around 930 the main says he has to leave to get a bigger truck and will be back. Around 1130 my sister called to check in and see how things are going and when they will be back with the truck. They said we should hear something from the foreman. At some point the other guys snuck out from upstairs. It is now 130 and we are getting concerned because my mom sold her house and had to be out today. We call them back now a woman tells us they won't be able to move our mom anymore today but could move her three days later. They made an excuse saying now it was because of the rain uet it stopped while the were getting the bigger truck. Not to mention one of rhe movers said they moved someone else the day before in the rain. They did nothing to help us move that day. Thankfully the woman who bought my moms house was nice enough to let her leave the furniture at the house and we were able to get Don Farr services to help use move the next day. My poor mother had alot of issues selling the house and my sister and I did everything we could so the fact that our movers bailed on us stress her out. We moved what we could and Don Farr did the rest. I would not recommend this company even on my worst enemy read more

I was SO nervous about using this service after reading the reviews but I had a GREAT EXPERIENCE! I booked on the day of my move and was able to get movers within a few hours. The company was also offering a yelp deal $20 for $50, so my one hour move essentially ended up costing me less than $50! One of the bellhops decided that he didn't feel like working that so my move was canceled two hours before the expected arrival time. My entire life is boxed and stacked. My days off wasted. If a 0 was possible, I would give a 0. I hired Bellhops for a move last year and I still have nightmares about the experience. I booked my move for Sunday and they confirmed the date twice. On the day of, I was supposed to have four movers and only three showed up. One was a no-show. They were slightly late, and there was no truck. Now, you may think I mean that there was no truck at the moment, but there was literally no truck. No truck was coming due to some miscommunication because the company they used for the truck is closed on Sundays. They wanted me to reschedule my move, but I had to be out of my rental that day. Both my foreman and I called corporate to sort it out, and they would say that they'd call back in 10 minutes. I'd have to call them after 30 minutes. That happened at least twice. The company was finally able to track down a truck from another moving company for us to use, so four hours after my move was supposed to start and be finished, they got started. When they moved my furniture and items into my new house, multiple items were damaged. I had pieces of furniture that I had to get rid of because they were damaged beyond repair. They literally ruined my beautiful wooden desk and damaged most of my bedroom furniture. Also, because the movers were down one man, They were getting tired. I would ask them to put certain pieces of furniture into certain rooms or certain boxes into certain rooms and they disregarded everything I said and put most of my belongings in the basement. When I pointed this out, they moved a couple of the things to their proper place but left most of it for me to do myself. While they did reimburse me for the damages, per the contract, it didn't even come close what it would've cost to replace everything they damaged. While I understand this is an affordable option, which is why I chose it, I now truly appreciate the phrase, "you get what you pay for". The funniest part is that I got emails for the next four months asking me to rate them. I bet they're really glad I did. read more

BEWARE! They hire drivers for the trucks from a third party. In this specific instance he went out to have some drinks, and came back smelling of alcohol, it wasn't until the other movers with him mentioned something I was outraged. Trying to give people the benefit of the doubt. Well for this company DO NOT. A few hours into the job, meanwhile hardly anything was placed where it needed to go due to the fact of having to wait at the truck while the driver had lunch and some alcoholic beverages, they got a new job and decided it's best to leave the belongings on the sidewalk IN DOWNTOWN PITTSBURGH. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, you're better off renting a donkey and moving your belongings that way. At least you know the job will get done. read more

Update: Although my initial experience was pretty terrible all around, I am very impressed with the effort made to rectify the situation. I can tell that my situation is not the normal outcome. Unfortunately, things happen. Hopefully my experience will help them to develop a better contingency plan for future customers. The two gentlemen assigned to my move (after the first two decided not to show), were well mannered and very helpful. They asked the right questions and possessed a great work ethic. Basically, I think that my negative experience was a reflection of the 2 employees originally assigned to me, not the company overall. Even still, in their efforts to rectify the situation, it was clear that everyone from management to the movers accepted ownership of the problem and truly wanted to make it better. ------- The only reason I'm giving 1 star is that I cannot give 0. After scheduling 2 movers with Bellhop, I recieved 3 or 4 emails confirming my move. I even received photos of the movers that I was to expect. After all that song and dance, no one showed up and no one called. I called customer service. After a long hold, I was told to expect a call from the "captain" that would be handling my move. 30 minutes later, no phone call and no movers. I called again and was told the same thing. I asked him to call the movers and then call me back himself. 20ish minutes later, Joe from customer service called me back to inform me that he couldn't get a hold of my intended movers. He said that he wasn't sure what to do because "this never happens." I was told that if I found someone else to do it, I would be reimbursed. So, on a late Sunday afternoon, I had the pleasure of calling local movers to see who could come out, all while sitting amongst boxes and tending to my 4 month old. After no one could come out, my husband and I gave up and started moving things ourselves. I spent hours alternating between loading/unloading a truck and nursing my baby. Also, because no one showed up, we had to extend our truck rental and pay for an additional day. Worst experience of my life. read more

We had an appalling experience. We've had 4 out-of-state moves over the past 5 years and, speaking from experience, this was the most stressful, due largely to the inexperienced workers we were assigned. I thought that paying twice as much for four packers instead of our usual two would mean better service at a faster rate, but we ended up with only one person who actually worked, another who tried but clearly had no training and ended up damaging our furniture while trying to pack it, and two others who spent the majority of the time on their phones or waiting around. And they took them 3.5 hours to do a job that has taken 2 movers 2/2.5 hours on our 4 different occasions over the past 5 years! And because of this delay, it started pouring and drenched a good deal of our belongings just as they were finally getting around to loading them. If we take these people as representative of the company, this was absurdly bad. In addition, they did a terrible job packing our shipping containers, so much so that the U-Pack representative who arrived to pick them up kindly helped us repack one of them so that our things would not be broken on their way to their destination. We provided blankets, furniture wrap, and rope to secure heavy pieces to the inside of the shipping containers - all standard moving procedure. We had to teach them how to use the blankets and wrap the furniture, as three of them proceeded to load furniture without any protection and seemed to have no experience whatsoever. Later, we found the rope we had provided left untouched in the shipping container. Because of that, we had one piece of furniture literally split in half on arrival and a number of boxes crushed due to the shifting around of the items and an inexperienced packing job. It appeared that three out of four movers had never been trained to pack or load a standard moving/shipping container in any way. We had a good but bittersweet laugh with our unpackers - an experienced group of movers from another company - about how atrocious the job was done by Bellhops. I do appreciate the attentive customer service at Bellhops, who immediately sought to alleviate the poor performance of the movers themselves when I called during the move to report their negligence in action. This also resulted in us only being charged for the original two hours of service due to the poor performance. But I cannot understand how little the high quality of customer service relates to the low quality of the packers/movers themselves. Thank God we had better unpackers from a different company at our destination. I wish I had listened to the other negative reviews before booking this company. Do yourself a favor and book a company that is run locally and is invested in the work they do. read more

DO NOT use this service if you need to move on a schedule. Or care about your stuff much. Pros- lower cost than many other services in town. That's it. And that doesn't matter if they don't even show up!!! Cons- Every. Single. Thing. Factors accepted with the cost- They use hourly labor, your truck may/may not be leased, and your driver is separate. Why does this matter? Because it means that Bellhops is only the middle man. Movers don't show, driver doesn't show, truck not available - no service. Everything works out- no insurance. In fact, you'll be required to expressly accept that insurance services aren't provided or available, any payments for claims are determined by Bellhops and require surrender of the damaged item (no repair option), and the payout is so extraordinarily low that Bellhops banks on no one giving up an expensive or antique item for a few cents per pound (how payment is calculated- not by value). Insurance coverage aside, with no repercussions for damage, and gratuity prompted at booking (?!?), you can read from other reviewers how this plays out with contracted movers caring about protecting your stuff! My move was booked 2 weeks in advance. Confirmed at online booking and by email immediately after. Confirmed several times afterward stalker-style, with multiple emails and reminder texts about my upcoming move. Despite being very clear at booking about needing 4 dedicated movers, the largest truck available, and a 5 hour window, Bellhops waited to call the night before my move and wanted a complete inventory to confirm the service; because this service is billed by time, the inventory was never requested previously and shouldn't matter anyway. However, I provided the full inventory requested and confirmed all the details yet again- 9am start for the following day (also the last day of the month!) with 4 movers not including the driver. Move Day- 7:30am- Bellhops calls and leaves a message that 2 of the 4 movers scheduled fell mysteriously ill some time in the 10 hour window just following our final confirmation the night before. Multiple calls to Bellhops later, they have NO BACKUPS and can offer to send only 2 movers at 3:00 for a few hours only. HUH?!?! No, that's half the number I booked 2 weeks prior, and booked for a full half day starting at 9am. Throughout these calls, the move "manager" calls separately from the Bellhops booking service and with differing excuses and proposed resolution. Resolution- Option 1- I was offered a rescheduled booking 5 days later with a statement that they'd be sure to take care of me to "get it done" then. Did I mention that this is the last day of the month? And I'd only waited until then because no earlier dates were available. There were new tenants moving in a day later, utilities transferred, and all bedding/dishes/clothes/necessities fully packed up, but no amount of explaining this to Bellhops sunk in. And the rebooking with an hour's notice didn't come with a discount, an apology, or actual acknowledgement of being completely f**ked. Option 2- Bellhops made some calls and provided me the name of one other company (also hourly labor only and without insurance) that agreed to do the move later in the same day. They confirmed that this company would do the move that day and for no additional cost over what I'd agreed with Bellhops. Bellhops gave me the contact name and number to confirm... To a disconnected number. And a company that could not be directly contacted otherwise too. TWO HOURS LATER, I am panicked and calling around to every company I can find to get a replacement service. I never hear back from Bellhops to check in, nor from the substitute they provided with the disconnected phone. However, 1 of the 4 movers Bellhops scheduled showed up at my door. At this point, 1.5 hours after the scheduled start time and without any moving supplies (the services were booked with dollies and moving blankets) or a truck and driver, or any idea of the cancellation. Bellhops had never bothered cancelling the move with its own labor... And only 1/2 of the confirmed labor showed up regardless, and with no supplies or equipment and unapologetically 1.5 hours late! I never heard a word from Bellhops after, even after receiving and responding to the company's feedback survey.* * I received the survey a week after the cancellation and found the notation that Bellhops hoped I was satisfied and would book my next move with them a true kick in the teeth, all things considered. I worked out my own arrangements- with much, much stress, expense, personal effort, and injury to myself and my belongings. Thanks to booking with Bellhops, my move was terrible! If you're just booking an uninsured group of guys who may or may not show up, with no equipment and a leased truck, you might as well pick out your favorite Craigslist laborers ad and save yourself all the pain of dealing with the middle men! read more

TERRIBLE Planning and Experience! If I could leave negative stars I would. Bellhop provided the worst experience we have had in our 11 moves over the past 7 years. I first spoke to an agent over the phone about the move and that we had a 3 bedroom home with stuff in the basement that was already packed and ready to load from our previous cross country move. They provided an estimate and I booked online, that experience was fine. On move day the team showed up late anywhere from 30 minutes to an 1:15 minutes. One individual didn't have shoes, so I gave him an older pair. About 3 hours into the move I was told that there isn't enough room on the truck for everything and this will need to be 2 moves. The team primarily argued about who was better in football and took a ton of time to move without any planning. They truck was not full but very poorly packed. I was told by the lead that corporate would get in touch with me but they never called, so I had to call. I was then told that the 2nd move would be the following day at 2PM, no one showed so I had to call corporate again only to be told it this move was a non-garuanteed move and someone should have called me. So we then booked the 2nd day for Monday at 8am, only to find out that Bellhop provided the truck and movers with the wrong start and end address. So the team showed up late again and was suppose to have 3 guys which 2 showed up. The lead on this move was a lot better and more efficient than last time but the experience with Bellhop has been extremely poor. I was told that quality control would get in touch with me about my move and 5 days post I had not received a call. Today Bellhop charged my credit card for the second move and no one told me I was going to be charged twice for their errors. I called corporate, spoke to quality control only to have to wait another 48hrs while the investigate internally to how best to take care of this. I would never use this service again and I would warn anyone who is looking at them. I looked at their reviews prior to booking but didn't see a negative experience, hopefully this helps folks down the line. Don't use Bellhop go with another mover. read more

You get what you pay for. Simply put. I spent a few hundred dollars to have 3 college aged kids move everything out of my 1 bedroom apartment and it was poorly done. Moving truck arrived late. Several items damaged, along with poor moving skills, and the loading of the truck made this experience awful. Items were thrown in with no regard. The entire operation seemed rushed with each bellhop grabbing as many items as possible to save trips back and forth. I submitted a customer service complaint for the damaged items and was given nothing more than a $60 refund. That's it! I would recommend you gather up some friends, buy them some food and beer, and have them help. Otherwise, pay the extra money and get professional movers. It is not worth having your belongings damaged by 3 kids trying to make some extra cash in-between classes. Do not recommend. read more

If you want a moving company that leaves you stranded last minute then Bellhop is the company for you. I had 2 horrible experiences with them in less than a week. My dad and I both hired Bellhop to complete our Pittsburgh moves. They had good reviews, were decently priced, and were recommend by a few family friends. I am not sure why anyone would ever recommend this company. On the day of my Dad's move the movers showed up at 8 AM as expected. The truck had not arrived yet. My dad went outside and talked to the movers and told them to let them know if they need anything. By 8:30 we no longer saw the movers and still no truck. My dad had their phone numbers so he tried calling them. No response. So we called customer service and they said the movers saw unfit conditions and canceled the move. AFTER THE ARRIVED. THE DAY OF! Now their claims were untrue. The movers never even set foot in the apartment. They claimed there was a dog, and feces everywhere, none of this was the case. So they blatantly lied leaving my dad stuck to find someone to help him last minute. It was an awful experience. Now I also had the company booked and was concerned for my upcoming move a few days later. All other moving companies in Pittsburgh were booked out for a month. So I had no option but to trust Bellhop would be better for me. Huge mistake. I had my move scheduled for a month. 3 days before they called me saying no movers were available for August 2. I was panicked but let them reschedule me for August 4. The next morning they called me again and told me August 4 actually isn't available either. At this point I just cancelled the whole thing with them. They did refund my money and customer service was very apologetic, but what kind of professional company does this? They left me stranded 2 days before my move. I ended up renting a U-Hal and hiring some people to help me and just paid them cash. I saved money and the random people were super reliable. Good luck if you chose Bellhop. Read the reviews carefully because it is highly likely they will leave you in a pinch last minute. Horrible experience. read more

I used Bellhops to move my one bedroom apartment and was very impressed with how quickly and professionally my Bellhops completed the move. Both of my Bellhops were polite and hardworking and the service I received was well worth the price. One of my Bellhops was a very skilled mover, but the other seemed to have less experience with carefully handling heavy items. It was not a problem when moving my average grad-student furniture, but if you are moving more expensive items I would recommend careful packing to be sure nothing gets damaged. The company's customer service is also fantastic. Overall I was very happy with the experience and will be definitely be using Bellhops for my next move. read more

Cheap rude unprofessional. Untrained, no customer service skills. Raw poor service . I guess you get what you pay for

The driver showed up 5.5 hours late to pick up our things. He was then 2 hours late delivering them. I lost a full workday and was only given a 15% discount, which makes me think that they do not care about their customers. Although the person in charge of our move would always answer my calls, he did not seem to be able to coordinate or communicate between all of the parties involved in the move. I was given vague estimates of when they would arrive and feared they would cancel the move all together. I would not wish this experience on anyone and strongly recommend you find a different moving company. read more

I found Bellhops in a last minute google search after my other movers fell through. I had never heard of this company and was slightly skeptical of how things would go since I was basically begging other moving companies for help due to the last minute nature of my request and everything else was crazy expensive. Bellhops says that they can get movers for you as long as you are requesting at least 48 hours prior to your move. You pay per bellhop per hour. I requested three bellhops, received an email confirmation right after my reservation, then received another email a few days prior to my move with photos and information about the bellhops assigned to my move. The moving captain called me the day before to confirm details, and all three were very prompt and on time. I had extra help on hand to try to cut down on the time of the move, and in all honesty, I think the help that I had outside of the bellhops just slowed them down. They were AMAZING. Very fast, efficient, professional, courteous, and clearly experienced with moving! I cannot recommend them any more strongly. Even though my move was a nightmare to plan before I found the bellhops since I had "professional" (AKA not college students) movers hired that fell through, I think it may have been a blessing in disguise. I would happily use Bellhops again over any other moving company based on my experience with them. read more

I had Brett and Alain- they were prompt, super nice, and so efficient. Considering they are paid by the time on the job, I was prepared for a less-than-hasty move. I've had other movers that take their time when paid by the hour and not the move. Not these two- they were constantly moving and didn't take a break even though it was super hot and there were three flights of stairs. A move that has taken me 4 hours with friends took these guys 1.5. Could not recommend more! read more
