I made the mistake of not asking the cost before dropping it off. They charged $80 for a new clasp and kept the old one on it!!! So now I have two clasps (one broken) and it cost me almost as much as the necklace!!! My husband picked it up for me otherwise I would have refused to pay and let them keep it... clearly they took advantage of me and I hope they go out of business for their unethical practices. That will teach me to go to a random place and not ask the price before hand.

I "snuck out" and went to Baxter's thinking I was just going to inquire about a ring but I ended up walking out with a slip and a down payment on a ring! The staff at Baxter's couldn't of been any better to me. They had beverages, a cozy couch to sit on, and most importantly WORKED WITHIN MY BUDGET. I was looking at a princess cut ring, but it was WAYYY out of my budget. Fortunately, the awesome people at Baxter's got a smaller diamond from the back and even let me use the glasses to inspect the diamond as they explained it to me. There was no "shadiness" with them. They really put me first. After I proposed to her, we went in and got her ring sized to fit. They're customer service was just like when I went in and they adjusted her ring for free. Jewelers is a family-run business and you can tell from the moment you walk in. Everyone is so personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were not pushy or trying to sell me something. I decided to have a custom ring made and worked mainly with Chris. He really listened to what I liked and made the process so easy and fun. He was detail oriented and thorough. He kept me updated during the entire process and had great communication. My ring turned out absolutely perfect and is better than I could have ever imagined. Pictures don't even do it justice. He was able to source beautiful kite shaped stones which added to the uniqueness of the piece.
