Terrible customer service when faced with an issue in their shop. Management tends to blame issues on customer and throws insults to the customer. Perm... Long hair $165... Added $25 more for 2nd box of chemical (Only $141 was refunded after having to fight for it. MANAGER only WANTED to refund $80) $53... Hair products bought to maintain perm (not refunded) $50... Tip (not refunded) $40... Haircut (which was not explained until I asked for a refund and they would not refunded) Spent $333... Ended up with hair half permed, not a good hair cut and where I can not repair someplace else due to changes of over processing healthy previous permed hair. I guess I paid $192 to have hair screwed up, be insulted and be accused of being someone who gets off on screwing over hair salons. Story I received a perm here. I was very pleased with the way it looked the first day. She did WONDERFUL rod work, except missed chemical application to the front (bang) rod. Just a simple mistake. They were very welcoming to having me return for a repair perm. This time she rolled only the top portion of my head (to cover the bangs and cap). My hair is long so she decided to piggy-back the rods, but did not curl the ends section. Left this loose and only curled half way down hair shaft to the root area. (I trusted the cosmetician because she was a professional) This ended up curling the hair from the head to halfway up the shaft, but it ended up straightening from halfway up shaft to the ends of the hair. The other issue I discovered was that the curl around the rest of my head was falling out. (Perhaps an expired chemical or maybe the product wasn't good) I called and reported this within a week. I was informed I needed to schedule a consult which I did (only available for them was a week later). I ended up in town (other business), i called to request I come in a few days earlier. Was told "no" but I showed up anyways (I live 40 miles out of town) I discovered the manager was out on vacation until the date of my appointment. Still, I was able to speak with someone running the shop at that time. She agreed that my perm HAD fallen out and would have the manager call me. The next week Kristine (I believe that was her name), the manager, called me. When she mentioned only refunding me $80, I began to question this. She then stated that I began the entire call being very defensive and attacking her. I did not. I wasn't upset with the hair salon at this time. I felt it was just bad product and hoped to still end up with a lovely perm. To be suggested I take a $80 refund made zero sense to me and I questioned it. I requested that she give me what I had paid for the perm, itself. $190 ($165 perm... Which I thought the cut was included) + $25 (price for second box of chemical)) I told her that I would come, in person, and discuss this with her (so she could see the mess) at this time she refused but agreed to a refund of $141. She stated it was my fault that the perm fell out due to not using correct maintenance products. Which I explained to her that I had purchase everything the stylist recommended. Then she proceeded to accuse me of being someone who goes around doing this to salons. At this time, I said I had enough and said "goodbye" and hung up. This was a HORRIFIC experience. The person who did my hair (Jackie), I believe did her best. I honestly really truly LOVED the way she rolled my perm, she just missed a rod (human error and I was not upset). In MY opinion, The behavior and experience of being disappointed in what happened to my hair and then to have to go to management only to be attacked and NOT even to be made whole for what I paid, is inappropriate and UNEXCEPTABLE. All the workers are super nice and I've never come out of there not liking my hair! I've gotten my hair dyed, cut off 12 inches to donate (along with smaller cuts) and styled in updos and all experiences have been great. I recommend getting to know a stylist and always asking for them if you're going to be a regular so they can get to know you're hair type/needs. I currently go to school in a different city and still always schedule an appointment whenever I'm back in Spokane because they're so reliable. read more

It's a great salon and all of the stylists are so nice. But they were not able to do what I wanted for my hair. I tried 3 times within the last week, two different stylists and it was still not close to what I wanted. I have dark hair so I am sure that was part of the problem. Still disappointing. read more

I went in for blonde color and came out Ronald McDonald red. Spoke to owner who couldn't care less. I am never going back.

This place is great! I was so happy to finally find a good salon in North Spokane! Love that they use Goldwell color and have lots of great styling products as well.
