Great spot, close to the train station if you want to grab a quick drink due to possible delays or if you arrived early. As always, one of the cons is there isn't any parking but seems like a local sports bar where people may come to pregame before a Devils game or even some soccer matches at Redbull Stadium. Friendly staff too, it is pretty cozy though but still a good time!

I guess Manny is no longer the owner. 22 people inside the establishment for lunch and the bartender is the waitress. You really need at least 2 workers. The fries seem like they were cooked in month old oil. We had lunch there for an hour and the bartender(waitress) had 3 shots. God Bless

Stuck at Newark Penn Station for 2 hours. Very little choices to eat, no where to sit and no heat! Walked across the street to Bellos for lunch. Need, clean friendly, lots to choose from and reasonably priced. Great experience! 1/6/25

Good late night spot! Stayed busy all night. Food was good and service was really nice. The French onion soup was very good!

This was a small bar with an upstairs for private events it seemed like. There were a few tables next to the bar with soccer memorabilia throughout the entire 1stfloor. I sat at the bar where the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The menu had lots of interesting options ranging from traditional pub food to Portuguese dishes. I opted to share the Picadinho ($20) which was a special being offered. It was made up of clams, shrimp, pork cubes, potatoes, jalapenos, peppers, and onions in a white wine cilantro sauce. This was great value as there was plenty of food for the both of us. The sauce was tasty, but there was a ton of Worcestershire sauce present, which was different and odd. Nevertheless, the pork was very tender and had plenty of flavor. All of the toppings combined with the sauce made for a very satisfying dish. For dessert, the spumoni tartufo ($10) was ordered. It was more like a traditional vanilla and chocolate tartufo rather than spumoni. My thought was the presence of the cherry made it "spumoni." Regardless of that, it was a refreshing end to a great meal. Will I go back? Yes.

We stopped by here for a quickie before a concert at The Prudential Center and it was better then I had anticipated. This place reminded me of a neighborhood type place like Cheers for those of you that remember the show. The waitress was excellent and the food was great. I love the wings and the salad I had. Can't wait to try this place again when in the area.

Stopped by for some food before going to a concert in the area. We managed to grab a table when we got there. It was busy and loud. Our sever was super busy throughout the whole time we were there. She was nice and would check in on us which I appreciated. We started off with the nachos and they were great. I got the chicken tenders with fries. The fries were a little greasy but overall I enjoyed my meal. I ordered a jack and coke and both times my drink was a little on the weaker side. Overall, we had a good experience.

The specials menu could have been the full menu in itself! The cocktail menu also had a lot of good options; had a hard time choosing. We started with a Shirley temple, thyme out and calamari. She had the pesto bucatini with an added burrata and I had the truffle tagliatelle from the specials menu. The thyme hot cocktail was delicious. We also got complimentary bread and marinara. The bread was soft and tasty. The calamari was light and ok. My date enjoyed her pasta; said she always gets it when she comes here. My tagliatelle pasta was DELICIOUS. The restaurant is cute and all the staff are so nice. Plenty of parking but unfortunately it's paid parking (not a deal breaker though!) Some of the options are on the pricier side but normal for the area and worth the price. Told my husband we have to come here so he can try!

Host seated us in an area where we weren't asked for our drink order for nearly 20 minutes after arriving, that set the tone for the evening, since the waitress said no one told her that we were there. We then placed our food order at the same time and the waitress said no problem. We proceeded to wait another 30 min with her then saying our food was brought to a different table. She said we could have the bill forgiven or wait for a new order to be prepared we opted to give a chance, however, when she returned nearly 30 more minutes later making it nearly an hour and a half no food other than fries they brought since they thought that would be a concession she comes with only 1 order not 2 at the table when we said we originally ordered 2 Rigatoni dishes....she said she was sorry and proceeded to try to hand us the bill. We asked for the manager at that point since, we were really hungry and the order was wrong and to aggravated to eat then told him we were fed up and wouldn't be paying for this kind of POOR SERVICE and left. They literally had only 5 tables currently at their establishment and all had no food.

My old phone was taking blurry pics from far away so I wasn't able to capture it, but think very cozy, fireplace with candles glowing from within, and little alcoves in the wall for candle clusters. It was perfectly elevated while still being casual and approachable. When we came there was a Mac and cheese special with pulled bbq pork on top. I knew we had to get that because it is right up my husbands alley. It did not disappoint, my husband was tempted to order some to take home! The pasta was super creamy and cheesy, mixed with the roasted pulled smoky bbq pork on top, it was the ultimate comfort food for the cold rainy day we were having. For my meal I got the Grilled Cheese which is more of an elevated "grown up" grilled cheese. It had cheese, thin apple slices, fig jam and bacon. The flavors were great, I only wish there was a little more cheese or a little less jam to balance the sweet and savory a little more, because for me it was a touch too sweet. The sourdough it was made with was delicious and fresh, I also appreciate that they don't seem to soak their grilled cheese in oil like a lot of places do (butter or nothing, please!!) My husband ordered the burger which he really enjoyed but nothing was going to top the pulled pork Mac and cheese for him. They should consider adding it to the regular menu! He originally wanted the duck sandwich but it was unavailable on this day. All in all it was a cozy afternoon together. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure to check on us without ever being too overbearing.

Great views of NYC, especially from the outdoor seats. We sat in the dining room, and the service was likely a bit off because of the large crowds and people visiting to watch the FIFA world cup soccer games. While the service was less than 100%, the breezed short ribs were amazing! If I lived in the area, I think I could order those short ribs everyday. Pricing is very reasonable for the area, even with the "included gratuity" of 18% that they threw on the bill, probably because of all the international travelers coming into watch soccer. I understood this was something they probably had to do specifically during the world cup. We paid about $70 per person all in, we were drinking soft drinks, so the bar can push the total bill much higher very quickly. Overall, I would certainly return to this restaurant for great views, amazing food, and a reasonable value.
