Good food, had the burger , tasty stuff , came in before the devils game and thoroughly enjoyed the place , good and fast service and the ambiance was super awesome

This place was surprisingly good in terms of beer selection. The bartender knows his stuff and even recommended some good beer. I've seen this place super lively right before an event and it's way cheaper than the drinks and food at Prudential so I great place to pregame. They sometimes close the road between Prudential and this restaurant which makes it a real tailgating experience. No happy hours during event nights at Prudential so keep that in mind.

This is the best pregame spot for a good meal before the Devils hockey game. Located right across the street from the doors of Prudential center it is the perfect location to eat before you're going to an event. The place is always packed. Go 2 to 3 hours before the doors open to get a table and have time to sit and eat. The food came out fast and was really good. Staff is great and efficient. Prices are also very reasonable. Bring cash to avoid the credit cars fee! I cant wait to get back here before a game.

This place was SO good. The pizza was absolutely incredible -- perfectly crispy crust with just the right amount of char, amazing flavorful sauce, and super fresh ingredients. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The mozzarella was fresh, and everything just worked together perfectly. On top of that, the service was outstanding. The employees were so friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. It made the whole experience even better.

We were attending a conference at the arena and came here because we thought it would be quick. We were welcomed when we walked in and sat at one of the high tops near the bar. At first, it wasn't so busy, but the others attending the conference had the same idea we had. Our waitress came fairly quickly and took our drink orders, and that's when the speed ended. We perused the menu and decided what we wanted. And waited. And waited. Finally, she came over with our drinks and we grabbed her so we could order before they got overwhelmed. I ordered the Smoked Wings and a Cheeseburger. I tasted my beer and it was sour- that sour milk taste when the taps aren't cleaned. We grabbed her as she walked by again and she took my beer and I ordered another. That came fairly quickly, and thankfully, tasted great. Then time stood still. We didn't see our waitress for some time, we both finished our first drink, and looked for our waitress to order another one. No sighting. My friend got up to go to the bar to order another drink when she finally appeared- and asked us if we needed another drink. We said yes, and mentioned we still hadn't received our food. She got our drinks and then finally, our food arrived. While I was expecting to get my wings as an appetizer, they came with the burger. Okay, the food matched the service- mediocre at best. The wings didn't taste smoked and you could tell they were microwaved. The burger was mediocre as well, lacking flavor. We finished our food and beers and got out of there. I can only imagine what it's like before/after a hockey game. Maybe it was a bad night, but I wasn't impressed.

I came here before the Brandy & Monica concert. Really nice atmosphere. They were even playing Brandy & Monica, which was fun. I sat at the bar and my bartender was super sweet. I do have to say though, that she didn't make the best drink. I ordered the cold fashion. It's made with cold brew, and this was the sweetest old fashion ever. It wasn't balanced at all, and I barely tasted the whiskey. It also comes in a very small, uneventful glass, and for the price I was charged ($15+20% gratuity, bringing the total to $20), I'd expect a mixologist-esque cocktail. This drink was poorly made directly into the glass. No sort of mixing or shaking at all, and it tasted as such. I kept the tab open, hoping it'd be a good enough drink for me to want to order another one, but I was good after that drink. Also, the menus were sticky and dirty. I wouldn't recommend, unfortunately, mostly because of the drinks being so pricey, yet so lackluster. I don't mind tipping 20% because I know the bartenders work hard, but the drinks need to be good.

8/2/24 Stopped in because we were early for Prudential Center event and someone in our party wanted a drink. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and Calamari. Calamari were good, crispy outside and tender inside. The marinara was good, wished we had more lol Service was good, our bartender had a smile and very accommodating.

Went to American Whiskey for some pre game drinks and snacks. When the waitress figured out we weren't in for dinner she did everything but ask us to leave to get us to free up the table. Poor experience - don't go here. ps the food we had was awful. Nachos aren't supposed to be cold!

Been here a handful of times because my husband and I love going to the Devils games across the street at the Prudential Center. However, my husband had a Miller Lite on tap and he says it "tasted dirty". I've had other beers on tap and cannot relate, but I usually drink IPAs or drink mixed drinks. Take that as you will. However, the main star of the show has to be the adorable Pitbull outside, who is probably the most obedient of its kind I have ever seen. Her owner was one one of the guys setting up the outside area and working the DJ system. There was a moment she went on the street, and although I hesitated to call her over on the curb, her owner said "get on the sidewalk", and she obeyed instantly. What a wonderful and well trained dog. I'd come back just to visit her!

Everybody likes to trash this place but honestly couldn't ask for more when you're going here before a devils game or concert at prudential center. I'm not sure what people expect out of a bar/restaurant that is right next door to a stadium/arena that is of course going to be packed right before an event. The food and drinks come out super quick IF YOU GET A TABLE, especially considering how packed the place is. We were seated immediately (40 minutes before puck drop). The pizza came out in like 60 seconds, not sure how the waiter even maneuvered back and worth to the kitchen through all of those people that quick. Pizza had great flavor and came out hot. Chicken tenders and fries were kind of lacking, tiny little fries like it was the end of the bag or something and only three chicken tenders on the small side. I understand it's the location but for the price I would like less fries and maybe one or two more chicken tenders. Pretzels were awesome but the nachos were just alright. Still would 100% recommend if your hungry or looking to pregame before an my event at prudential center.

We wanted to find dinner before a Seton Hall basketball game and this place was picked for its convenience. The service was good and we were given a table instantly. Our waitress was available and helpful. If you're looking for a great eating establishment - this probably isn't your place. If you're looking for a place to get a good variety of drinks - that's a different story. The menu doesn't have a ton of variety but has some solid options. I ordered fish and chips and they were OK. I'd probably come here again but wouldn't do it unless I was going to an event at the Prudential Center.

I stopped by recently on a layover to grab a quick beer before boarding my flight…read more There was literally two people sitting at the bar eating and one guy having a beer. The bartender didn't acknowledge us, welcome us, nothing! He didn't even say give me a minute which is acceptable if you're busy. I mean, don't you want my business or not bro!? I was like, HEY!!! After about 5 minutes of waiting. He was like I'm busy and I lol and said I want to order a beer I am in a hurry I need to catch a connecting flight. He said I need to run up the way to grab his food first. What!? You can't pour a beer first I thought. So then I watched him walk up the airport to grab food from a restaurant I am assuming they get their food from. All this while I stand there and wait for a beer he could have easily poured and handed me before he walked away. Then another guy came from around the bar and I am like I need to order a beer and he said that I need to wait for that guy to come back. What!!! Smh! Needless to say, I waited 20 minutes for a beer I ordered from a tablet. It was a Blue Moon which is always my go to when places don't have any good craft beers or IPA's. The beer was $18 for a Blue Moon. Hilarious! It's a shame too because it's a cool little vibey bar. The funny thing about airport bars and restaurants is they know we need them more than they need us apparently and their customer service skills suck because of this. I probably won't be back, but who knows when you're in a hurry and need to grab a quick drink before a flight. I don't recommend this place, but I guess there is only one way to find out if your service is better than mine. Sláinte!

We didn't have a reservation, but they were still able to seat us in the dining room as long as we could wrap up before 1:30, which we appreciated. I wasn't super hungry so we shared the crispy cauliflower and lamb ribs from the appetizer menu. The crispy cauliflower was excellent -- hot, actually crispy, and not drowning in sauce which I really appreciated. The lamb ribs came over labneh (a yogurt base) and the first plate arrived with the lamb cold. I asked our waitress if that was intentional and she said only the labneh should be cold. They immediately replaced it with a fresh order and handled it really well, which I appreciated. Great service recovery and overall a really enjoyable brunch spot with a lively atmosphere.

The drinks are the main event, and the Old Fashioned is every bit as smooth and well-balanced as advertised, complete with custom-branded ice as a sharp, deliberate detail.
