Livingston's Soda Fountain & Grill delivered with a nice side of nostalgia. We started with an appetizer of Cheese Sticks. We then followed that up with some burgers. I got the Livingston's Burger, which was delicious, while my brother got the Ole Tyme Burger. And as if the burgers weren't enough, these burgers were served with a mountain of delicious fresh-cut fries. But the best part of our meal was at the end, when we were convinced to get two milkshakes, one for each of us. And I'm glad we did, as these were the most delicious milkshakes we had in quite a while, and I was sipping on mine all the way back to our hotel. In short, if you find yourselves traveling through Brownsville and have the time for a proper meal, I strongly recommend you take the detour away from the Interstate to stop at Livingston's Soda Fountain & Grill, and don't forget dessert, because it is the best part here. And if we find ourselves traveling through Brownsville around lunch or dinner time again, we will definitely come back to Livingston's Soda Fountain & Grill again.

The food was great and very good milkshakes. My turkey wrap had just the right amount of turkey, bacon, and AL white bbq sauce. My friend's Mindfield wrap was great- highly recommend!

Local Bar with Massive Rib-eyes…read more Mcadoo's is an experience, and one you should explore if you are in the Blytheville area. I have, over the years, wanted to go and check the place out, but a combination of not being able to find it and not having enough time has always kept me from a visit. During my last visit to Blytheville, a business colleague and I decided to check this infamous establishment out and have a business dinner, beers, and rib-eyes. Mcadoo's is located in central Blytheville, across from the fire station, and it is in a simple metal shack, which can make it hard to find. There are no signs on the building, just the name written on the entrance door. Inside, you find a fully functioning bar with pool tables and plenty of tables to sit at. Mcadoo's has an old-school vibe as the inside is lit up by old-school red lights. Like bars of old, you can smoke inside; keep this in mind if you are a non-smoker or have allergies to smoke. Mcadoo's has a fully stocked bar, but it's mostly known for its rib-eye steaks. Our server came to our table and informed us that they had no apps and that our only options were rib-eye with salad, baked potato, and toast, or rib-eye with toast, as nothing else was available on the menu. The rib-eyes took about twenty minutes to arrive, and they were massive and cooked to perfection. The salad and the baked potato were fresh and okay, but the focus was on the steak. The steaks were juicy and tender, and they were also very affordable. The allure of Mcadoo's is the experience, the full bar and the affordable rib-eyes. It is also a favourite place for locals to hang out. Overall, a good experience and a great rib-eye dinner.

I'm so happy there is an authentic place for me to get pupusas! Hands down the best I've had…read moreconsidering we moved from a place that had endless options for pupusas. I always get the loroco and chicharron pupusas. At first I was kinda skeptic about the cabbage not being submerged in the liquids (since that's how I had it in the past) but it still holds the flavor good. The sweet salsa was a game changer for me. I never had it til I came here and it's a must have on your pupusas. When we first sat down, the owner came up to the table after our order was taken and asked if we wanted chips and guac. He made it fresh and how we wanted it, since I'm not too big on spice he had the jalapeños on the side for my husband. It was flavored so well that we actually ate it with our pupusas too. Everyone there is really friendly and always made sure we were doing good during our meal. At the end we ordered more to go to eat later.

We walked in at 9:10 but no one was there. I said, "Hello?" To be greeted by a sweet lady who didn't understand me but told me they were not open and she couldn't tell me what time they would be ready to serve. I really wish places with high ratings or not wouldn't make us spend gas and time if they don't advertise correctly.
