Purchased a caramel hazelnut latte and I could taste neither and another latte that was sub par. Girlfriend had a bacon egg sandwich with a small amount of bacon and I got a bacon scramble burrito which came on a fajita wrap and was filled with burnt eggs and bacon . Location This is a new location in the Arnot Mall so I thought I would give a try! The place is really small it only has seats. It more a get coffe and go plus you can sit anywhere in the mall and drink it. The coffee They had a pretty nice selection of coffee and tea products. You can lattes, french press, chai, and even pour over coffee. I had the Caramel latte and I must say I am impressed it was good. First thing to is the basic Is it hot!! I hate luke warm coffee. They passed the most basic test. It had a nice smooth flavor the only thing i didnt like was the last couple sips were pure syrup. I find this to be a common thing at many coffee shops. Please stir the latte good! The verdict Overal this shop is solid I really want to go back and try some other stuff. If possible I will always go to the local shop over a Starbucks to support the community. So if you are in the mall I would definitely recommend this place of even if you have the time. read more

World class coffee and espresso drinks, as good or better than anywhere in nyc. The in-house pastry is good but loss of a star for the half-stale, half-warmed pastry that was called a croissant, was n the shape of a croissant but was not a croissant. Suggestion to owners: buy your croissant from nearby Wegmans. Or at least taste the croissant at wegmans, that's what a croissant should taste like. Really nice coffee shop. My son and I recently went here for breakfast. We're vegan and the staff was very willing to accommodate for special diets. They made us toasted bagels with peanut butter and hash browns. I think they might make their own bagels because these bagels were different than any other bagel I've ever had (in a good way). I'm not usually a bagel fan because of how chewy and tough some bagels are. However, these bagels were almost like a cross between a bagel and an English muffin. I really liked them a lot. The prices are very good. The hot chocolate and chai we're both good. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing and the employees are friendly and helpful. read more

The coffee was great. I'm very fussy about my coffee. While there I ordered a egg bagel with smoked turkey and smoked cheese. It was pretty good I must say. I asked the gentleman working who I assumed was the owner, if they made the baked goods on site or from an outside source. He told me that everything is made on the premises. WELL, as I was paying for my meal a girl came in carrying 4 /5 large plastic boxes of crosaunts from Sam's or Walmart. I was disappointed I was lied to. While I am being critical, it would enhance the place if they would wash the windows and dust the light fixtures. Doesn't look like it has ever been cleaned. Great coffee shop, surprisingly good given that it's in such a little town. Pour-over, French press, espresso, and I assume auto-drip but given the other three options why would you care about auto-drip? The two employees while I was there really wanted the customers to have good service. Pretty good seating, plenty of room, playing some background music. Good atmosphere. Pretty inexpensive, too. I hope they do well so that I get to come back next time I'm in Elmira. read more

We loved our coffee and breakfast here. Usually I'm suspicious of trying drip coffee at a place I haven't been, but we risked it here and really enjoyed it - strong and with great flavor. We also tried the waffles and one of the breakfast sandwiches and liked both! My only suggestion would be to include a fresh fruit or vegetable option as a side to the meals - we would have liked something like that to go with our breakfast. This is a great location and bells is much better than the other coffee place in the mall. My only complaint is the young lady who works there with glasses and curly hair. A lovely little place with well-brewed coffee, comfortable seating, free wi-fi, a laid-back atmosphere, and a friendly staff. I was at Elmira College for an academic conference, and I needed to get away from campus to write and re-caffeinate. Since I couldn't find a cafe in Elmira proper (aside from McD's and Dunkin'), I drove five minutes up College Avenue to Bell's Country Coffee in Elmira Heights. The barista was happy to let me sit by the window for a few hours and try several different blends of coffee, some drip and some French press. As long as you stay in the shop, you can keep refilling your cup. Local folks came and went, and the barista knew most of them by name. Later on the owner showed up and went to work behind the counter. Everyone was easygoing, affable, and seemingly delighted to be there. So if you're in the area, maybe just driving on the 86, I would urge you to stop by Bell's. I know that next time I'm anywhere near Elmira, I'll be back. read more
