    Sunset Sangria
    Catie F.

We stopped by for brunch this past Sunday and we're greeted with a very beautiful and very empty Cedar Rose Vineyards. Our table tried the chicken and waffles and the cheese omelette and everyone enjoyed both! The chicken and waffles look much different from the older picture I saw on her, and in my opinion better now. I forgot to take a picture of them unfortunately! The sunrise and the sunset sangria were both amazing to drink. It started to get busy around 12:30pm, but we were alone as I said from 11am until then. We sat outside, but under the shaded porch. There was plenty of seating outside and in. Before I forget, you also have to order inside at the bar and then it will be brought out. All the staff were friendly and worked quickly. The winery cat is not too friendly tho fyi!!

Very calm and beautiful ambiance! Very silent for a sunday. The service was not great. Although the servers were not rude they were inattentive. We arrived and were given menus to place orders. When we picked a table we had to open up our own umbrellas . After we ate our first round of appetizers we had plates lingering long enough so we decided to bring them in ourselves. When we went to order the entrees we felt like we were disrupting someones lunch as they were eating behind the counter. In my professional hospitality opinion : this is a big NO!The food was basic in my experience with vineyards. Salt was definitely the main seasoning as absolutely everything had pleanty of it. We ordered calamari, buffalo chicken sandwich , spinach and artichoke dip and truffle fries. Unfortunately the buffalo chicken sandwich was cold and extremely salty. The truffle fries were really just cheese and salt on potatoe strings . The calamari was actually not bad, but not a craving. If you dislike cream cheese the spinach and artichoke dip is jot for you. It is literally a bunch of cream cheese with minimal artichoke and spinach in it. I had high hopes but i wont be back! Sorry! The up side is that the wine bottle of rose was tasty!

Decided to stop by to try this winery. It was Sunday and didn't have reservations. They accepted walk ins. Place was really nice and they also have an upstairs seating area. They have tastings, sell by the glass and they also have food. For flight tastings they have options of 3 or 5 wines and they have pre-picked or you can choose your own. I choose the semi sweet flight and it was so good. Staff were super nice and helpful. Food was good too, definitely recommend the spinach dip. Prices were reasonable and place is cozy this time of the year.

My son and his girlfriend were gifted a gift card from her brother and they had a wonderful time! The place was amazing wine was delicious they both enjoyed a flight of wine each a delicious chartreuse board with cheese, bread , meat and bread. The wine master game them a tour and sample They can't wait to go back and this time promised to take me !

I truly wish you could give select places more then 5 stars. From the staff, to the wine!, to the food and music! Cedar Rose is second to none. We love everything here. Sitting upstairs in the winter you get a great view of the vineyards while you listen to some local music. Then in the summer enjoy the outside patio as you sip a glass of wine and enjoy the breeze that comes over the fields. A must stop on the list of wineries in South Jersey. I only hope they continue to grow!

All the wine made in Rosenhayn has a hint of gasoline. Not sure why but it does. Nice atmosphere though.

We ordered the flights and a few food items including a charcuterie board, all of which were incredible.

Spoke with AJ who was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the grapes, wines, and winemaking processes. He made sure we had priority seating and even walked to the vines with us to discuss growing season. We went on a Sunday and there was live music, customers were up and dancing, there was a food truck, and it looked like a private party was going on. A little rain could not dampen the vibe here.

The extra covered seating is less upscale, but provides loads of space for big crowds. We came earlier in the afternoon around 1:30pm, when they were first opening. This allowed us to get Adirondack chairs on the patio close to the live music performer. The deck and patio filled up by 3:00pm almost completely. It seemed like 50% had reservations and 50% were walk ups. All the drinks we had were really delicious. There was one bottled sangria, and the rest came in carafes. We tried the blueberry lemonade, strawberry lemonade, and the peach tea. My personal favorite was the strawberry lemonade, but all were great. My cousin tried the wine slushees and seemed to like all three, but didn't finish the strawberry banana. Who knows if it was just all too tasty, maybe?! We also ordered fries and chicken quesadillas from the food truck on site. This was a great addition to our day of sangria tasting and I was surprised at how tasty it was. It did take about 20-25 minutes to come out though. Finally, the staff was very kind and attentive. They come around to pick up empty glasses, but you need to order inside at the bar area. There are two gender neutral bathrooms inside there as well.
