I contracted with Belman Pavers to do my backyard after my neighbor did. After being told the same crew would come back in two weeks to do my property, I signed the contract with him. It took 6 weeks for a different crew to finally show up. Not a great experience - they took out a drain that was supposed to have been left, put another drain in a wrong place, and badly sloped the back part of the property after insufficiently removing excess dirt. My back door now scrapes on the pavers when I open it. The sand was not done properly so I have weeds growing around my drains and along the house. They also left my garage door open when they dumped the gravel/sand, resulting in everything in my garage being covered in a thick layer of dust. And the kicker - when they finished the project, they left a pallet of extra pavers in my driveway, blocking my garage for 6 MONTHS. Victor then sent yet a different crew to do my front patio area. They were not able to do my stairs as promised. Would have resulted in stairs that were 9" instead of the 7" which is code. Worst part is that after the crew left, I discovered that 2 of my irrigation pipes were broken in 5 places. Victor promised to have someone come fix it - his subcontractor refused so he asked me to have my gardener do it and said he would pay him directly. My gardener did the work and despite over 2 MONTHS following up, was never paid. I finally paid my gardener the $400 for the screw up that Belman Pavers made. Months later, I am still trying to get Victor to pay me back. He will not pick up when I call nor will he respond to my texts. Buyer beware! DO NOT USE BELMAN PAVERS! UPDATE: At first we were happy with how our patio turned out, but 6 months in and there are cracks everywhere. They started about a month after the job was completed, and they've continued to grow, and there now there are more and more. And we were told this is normal, and that there's nothing that can be done about it, unless we rip it out and pour it again. So now we are stuck with a brand new patio that has cracks. Even though the 30+ year old small patio they removed didn't have a single crack... The owner comes, quotes the job, but then has almost no involvement once work starts. I had to work from home just to make sure they were doing it the way we planned/designed it. They even were going to pour the concrete right up against the wood siding of my house, but I asked them to cut the siding back and put in flashing, which I had to go get from Home Depot myself. Also, none of the workers spoke English, so I had to try and manage it in my patchy Spanish. If price is super important, and this is the lowest cost option, then they will get the job done. But I would recommend a different company, as we should have gone a different route. BTW all the pictures of the cracks are in an area that's like 12 x 15 feet.
