I have used this compounding company for several years and have been very satisfied. It's relatively an easy process once you an your physician feel what's necessary for your health. I have always relied on my internist for recommending. Professional and courtesy staff handle your needs when you call in to get your compounded formulas. They are delivered in a timely manner and packaged carefully. I have had them deliver to me when I have been in a summer location without any difficulty. Pharmacy makes too many errors in prescriptions. Only decent thing is they admit it. I did not realize how inferior their compounded meds were until I changed pharmacies. How unfortunate. I know a lot of women rely on them. read more

Absolutely incompetent. I waited almost a week for my hormones and when I called was informed that they were missing my address from the prescription (I had received marketing materials however) and the scrip had been sitting for several days, even though they had my phone number. I paid in full over the phone, gave the correct address and waited two more days, when I received a call because they had an incorrect address written down and it "wouldn't go through". Argh! I spoke with an administrator who made excuses. Looking for another compounding pharmacy now, I will NOT be doing business with them again. read more

I have been a loyal customer for more than five years. Their customer service is the WORST I have ever experienced. I submitted a renewal prescription and after FOUR days I had to call them to follow up. I was given multiple reasons why my prescription had not been filled yet. They claimed to have called my doctor's office and were unable to reach anyone....HOW? She has a huge practice, they have a fax number, I don't get it. Why didn't they let me know?? I've been without the med for ten days now. I finally decided its time to find another compounding pharmacy. I might have to pay a bit more but between the shipping cost and lack of attention to their customers, it will be $$ well worth being spent. read more

I have gotten my compounded thyroid medicine from Women's International for several years...During that time my thyroid levels have been consistent. The last two plus months, I have been mostly bedridden from fatigue and experiencing a lot of pain and muscle aches. I just had some bloodwork done and found out that my thyroid levels were way below normal level. Normally, my thyroid levels are in the higher normal range and have been that way for years. It seems likely that the thyroid meds I had been taking were a bad batch. I called the pharmacy and talked with a pharmacist. After talking through the situation with him, he was unwilling to even consider that the meds they sent me were defective. I expected that he would at least consider that they had made a mistake and offer to send me a new batch at their cost. Or at least say that he was sorry! I'm going to look for another compounding pharmacy for my business. read more

Poor quality capsules. Their thyroid medication is oil based and leaks out of the capsules after only a few days, leaving how much medication in the capsules? and how much at the bottom of the container? I felt great for the first few days and then became lethargic after the medication started leaking- they said this was normal. Switched to a local compounding pharmacy that uses powder base and am not having this problem. Spoke with WIP about this and they don't care, they say it is normal. Since I do not have a thyroid gland it is a matter of life and death that I get my meds daily without interruption of treatment or quality issues, and they are playing games with peoples lives. The powder base used by other pharmacies is not going to leak as this oil based product. I spent $68 for a one month Rx that lasted for 3 days. BEWARE! read more

The pharmacy took three weeks to process my prescription and when I received it, it was not the right ingredients. Their prices are higher than Park Compounding in CA. It takes them days to return a telephone call. I would never use WIP pharmacy again! read more

Have used them for several years without problems. Recently had some confusion with an order which took several phone calls and emails to correct but there are still problems regarding the billing. The financial manager has taken over a week and still hasn't responded to me after I sent a detailed email explaining all the mistakes and called once. I will call again today but I have to say I'm less than impressed with how mistakes are handled. read more

The Dr. I go to uses this pharmacy. Have been going to him for about 12 years. Practically every time I have a new prescription called in it is compounded wrong. The pharmacy says the Dr. called it in wrong. Yet, the doctor's office insists it was called in correctly. It takes at least a week to get it and it isn't cheap, only to find out it isn't correct. No one ever offers to reimburse me for the mistake. This recent prescription was called in on a Thursday 10/13. I waited until Monday 10/17 and called to see if the pharmacy had received it. The "technician" I talked to said there was no new prescription showing up. Yet, that afternoon I received an email stating my prescription had been mailed. Wish I could remember the technician's name. If these technicians are responsible for writing down prescriptions that are called in, it's no wonder that 90% of the time the prescription is wrong. So, once again I will have to talk to my Dr. and ask them to call the pharmacy and correct the error. It will end up taking two weeks to get the correct prescription. Not to mention once again I'm out the expense of an incorrect prescription. Terrible customer service. They need to investigate whoever is responsible for taking new prescription orders. I do think the pharmacists do an excellent job of compounding the prescriptions once they have the correct information. Even so, I am giving a 1 star review for the consistent mistakes. read more

They are not an accredited compounding pharmacy. I am hypothyroid and need estrogen, and on both counts they are a fail. Batch consistency is terrible. They work with out-dated equipment, and quality control is non-existent (according to many posts by former employees at various spots on the web.) I would not recomment them ata all. Their drugs made me ill. Some were OK while others had no potency or made me sick. read more

Worst customer service. Would not recommend to anyone. They take your money and send your prescriptions that need refrigeration to wrong addresses not once but twice..I will never use what little service they give. Still haven't received meds.
