We stopped at Belmont Brewerks because we needed food, and my wife knows how much I enjoy checking out new breweries. From Instagram to the website, it gave the impression that it was a brewery, so I was excited to try something new. We were seated quickly outside, which was great. When our waitress came over, I asked about their beer list. She told me their cooler had gone bad and all of their beer was currently bad. I asked if they had anything on tap, and she said no. Confused, I asked if they had just opened, and she said they had actually been open since 2020. At that point, I asked if they brewed their own beer, and she told me they did not. She said someone in Dover, OH, brews for them--but currently, the only beers available were Busch, Bud, Blue Moon, and Saucy's IPA. While Saucy Brew Works is a good Ohio brewery we've visited before, it was disappointing to realize this place wasn't an actual brewery and didn't serve anything brewed in-house. I settled for the Saucy's IPA, which was fine, but I had really hoped to try their own beer--especially given the name and branding. That said, the food came out quickly and was actually quite good, which helped redeem the experience a bit. Overall, just be aware this isn't a real brewery, and if you're going for the beer, you might leave a little disappointed. But if you're just looking for a bite to eat, it's worth checking out. read more

The food here is delicious. It is some of the best food I've had in as long time and I think the best side salad I've ever had in any restaurant. It was huge and filled with crisp greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, crumbled cheese. The club is stacked with turkey, ham, two kinds of cheese and a fried egg. The service was really fast and both items came out in less than 10 minutes. Set in a cool, old building. Very clean. Having said that, when you're ready to leave, the experience is destroyed. They want you to use your phone to snap a QR code on your receipt and use Clover Pay. I did, via Apple Pay. Thankfully Apple & my bank log the transaction. The server Justin, as I'm leaving said, did you use the receipt pay? I said yes. He says, "It didn't go through." I said, "Bullshit here's proof." He had to fool with his POS and even the bartender told him sometimes you have to log out and back in. When he finally did that, he saw that it was, in fact, paid. What a horrible way to treat customers and to ruin an otherwise good meal. That alone would prevent me from recommending this restaurant. He needs to get his tech in order before accusing customers of non-payment. read more

We had a flight of beer and asked for a suggestion from the waitress for lunch since this was our first time there! We had the Belmont burger, beer batters fries, and our appetizer .. deep fried Gouda cheese bites! Great choice. Definitely will return!! read more

We took our second trip to Belmont Brewing Company today. My wife and I had gone agile ago and had a great experience, so we took our sons and my mother with us this time. Both times we have gone the experience has been wonderful. The food is great and the staff is friendly and attentive, this time the bartender was doubling as a server but the service didn't suffer at all. The menu is a bit on the smaller side but everything we have tried has been top notch. We both had burgers the first time. They're cooked medium/medium-well but definitely are not dry. This time I tried their swine-apple flatbread, and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. My wife had their fish and kale slaw, that's not a typo, and we both left full and happy. Being a brewing company they have a multitude of mixed drinks, "boozy" milkshakes and craft beers. We've tried a couple of their mixed drinks served in sand pales (that you can take home). My mom tried their purple elephant which is a blueberry beer and i would recommend trying it. If you're looking for a great spot to grab lunch, dinner or a drink then I would definitely recommend stopping here. read more

We were doing work in this area over a few days. We ate here twice. The first time they had ordered the sampler platter.Gouda cheese bites, pickles, calamari, wings..all fried..cheese bites and calamari were the best. I don't want a pickle, I just want to ride on my motorcycle. Others ordered other stuff, not reviewing for them. I rode the pull pork sandwich with fries. The fries were meh....the pull pork sandwich was very good! I would definitely order it again! Day two.....ordered the Gouda bits and chicken wings with celery...is there a damn celery shortage??? It seems that ever restaurant in the past 4 years has been shorting celery? The wings were fried and coated with Buffalo sauce. I would get them again fo sho. The bleu cheese was watery... This place has an amazingly good vibe. The decor is beautiful, and the food is fantastic. The list from the bar is terrific, loaded with drinks your used to and other drinks created by Amanda (the manager) that you may never have experienced. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean! I ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer (delish!), and had the crab cake sandwich with old bay aioli! As a Marylander, I must say that I'm very picky when it comes to crab dishes. This sandwich did not disappoint, it was delicious! Probably the best crab dish I've had outside of Baltimore City! The beer battered fries on the side were terrific, and I washed it all down with some wonderful house brewed ale. I would highly recommend this place. It's well worth a visit, and the prices were very reasonable! So treat yourself to some great food, a terrific bar, and a staff that is both warm and very COVID-conscious! read more

This dinner was the perfect pairing! This place has so many fun drink options to choose from. I was originally just going to order a glass of Ruffino Prosecco (I especially love the Ruffino brand because it sounds like my last name) when the waitress offered me the fun version instead. The originally glass of champagne was $5 and this was $8.50. I got it once for fun, but then I got a regular refill. They also had fun summer bucket drinks I would get! Even had margarita and beer flights as well. I would go back just for the drinks! The food menu was limited, but good. The appetizers are honestly where it's at. I highly recommend the soft pretzel & fried pickles. The soft pretzel was unique because it was served with a side of pickled veggies and the pickles were deliciously paired with dill and a light ranch dressing. Decided to try out Belmont Brew Works today. How was it you ask? Well I don't know..... I don't know because I never got my food. We walk in around 2 o'clock, there is a family to be seated in front of us. My friend moved around and was standing near the hostess podium to respect social distancing. After about 5 minutes he was met with a waitress who was rather rude and said "if you stand on that side I would be happy to seat you after I seat them." Ok let's try and crane 12 people in the 6 foot' staging area that you have allowed. I thought my friend was going to just start seating people since no one else seemed to want to. I know what you are thinking well they were busy they were short staffed etc. To the contrary they were overly staffed for the approximate 25% capacity at that time. Anyway, we are finally seated and get our drinks quickly. We order a burger and Buffalo chicken sandwich. The waitress came by and said your food is up and it will be right out. I was delighted to hear this as it was over 45 minutes since we ordered. Ten minutes later she comes back by with drinks for a neighboring table and tells us that it should only be a few more minutes. After another 15 minutes pass I told my friend that I was growing impatient and I was ready to leave. He agreed. We had a Pepsi and a water to drink so we left a $5 on the table and left. Moral of the story.... servers need to spend less time on their cell phones and seat people, cooks need to cook and it may have been an enjoyable experience. However I would not recommend. read more
