This place was good. there was a change of ownership and it's been downhill. They no longer give you a side with your $12 slice of bread. They have cut back on the ingredients included on your price of bread. Today I got the hot veto and received 2 slice of meet 1 slice of cheese and a tomato slice cut in half. I once truly enjoyed the food here. Now it's the quality of o fresh made gas station sub. if you go here get the pizza. It's the best around.

This was one of the best little subs I've ever had. The bread was 10/10 which most places sleep on. Wish I lived closer to come back and try a cold one!

Definitely the best deli in the valley. I have been craving good deli sandwiches since moving here from pittsburgh and i finally found it! Its quality meats and perfect hot peppers with a friendly staff. If youre visiting or live here, this place will satisfy your sandwich craving! Its so good. Plus they have the best bagel ive had since moving out here. They fly them in from new york so you know they are authentic and fluffy. Drosselmeyer breakfast sandwich is unreal. A pile of pastrami and two perfectly fried eggs and then some cheese. Throw that on a everything bagel and it reminds me of the pastrami and egg sandwich from home. Yum. read more

Came here on a whim as we were passing through on our roadtrip across America. I hopped on Yelp and saw this place has good reviews and seemed decent. My husband got the VITO- that shiz was bomb!!!! I got the daily special which was the Gyro. It was good, and the coleslaw was really yummy. My kids also gave it 2 thumbs up. They got a hotdog, easy goer, and the Tuna. All really good. I recommend this place if you want a good deli sandwich. Staff super cool too! read more

I can't say enough about this deli and the sandwich I had! My husband had been here during work travels before and insisted we get our lunch while passing through on our way to Utah. I am thrilled we did because this will now become a MUST from now on. I had the Hot Vito and it was, quite possibly, the best sandwich I have ever had. It was perfectly portioned, perfectly toasted, perfect flavors...DIVINE! And what made it better was the wonderful man who took my order and made the sandwich for me. Delicious! Stumbled upon this NY style deli, while on the road. A terrific menu. The sandwiches are stuffed with Boar's Head meat. The fat sandwiches come with amazing cole slaw and dill pickle. Amazing! We were driving through town on our way to Boulder and found Belmont Deli on Yelp. So glad we did. We ordered the Palace Malice and Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches to share. So fresh and incredible blend of flavors and textures. We loved them so much that we planned to stop on our way back to California. Sadly they close at 3 and we missed them by 30 minutes. We will be back. As an aside, we appreciated that they are taking Covid-19 seriously and are mindful of keeping their employees and customers safe. read more

We went there yesterday before heading up to Beaver Creek. I ordered "Empire Maker" with pastrami and my little one ordered small version of grilled cheese. The sandwiches were definitely freshly made, you could tell easily once you got a big bite out of them! My Reuben tasted great, nice balance with all the ingredients. The small grilled cheese sandwich was very easy for my little one to eat and she enjoyed it before she got full, about 3/4 of it. The place has lots of seating which is great since the place got crowded right after we got in! Nice decoration and good staff. I will definitely come here again when I am in town next time! Tip: Come here and pack a sandwich in your backpack before going out for a hike or hit the slope. Worth it! :-) read more

Tasty deli sandwiches with a horse-racing theme. Fresh bread, quality ingredients and a nice ratio of new creations and familiar standbys on the menu. Service is quick and friendly, and the restaurant is kept neat and clean for sit-in diners. In addition to sandwiches, Belmont offers tasty Chicago hot dogs. The sandwiches may seem a bit small for the price to some - you can get a foot-long sandwich at Subway for $5 - but I would suggest that's a combination of better ingredients and the cost of being a local business in Edwards, CO. Uodate: Someone recently asked me why only three stars if there weren't any negative aspects of my review. Good question. I'd only been here a few times and I guess I tend to consider 3 a perfectly acceptable score for most places that are good, but not great. In the case of the Belmont, I'm not sure what might turn it from good to great - that's the deal with great, it's what you don't expect that provides it. Since the initial review, I've been back a few times and, more importantly, I rated the smiling moose a 3. If the moose is a 3 (still a good rating), the Belmont will have to be a 4, because it is to my mind the better option. read more

We've been stopping here for years for some great sandwiches, especially the corned beef variety. The last two stops were so disappointing. Oct 2016 and again June 2017. I was hoping the October grizzle- fat-fest was a fluke. Yesterday's sandwich was just as bad. (Think texture of cheap, half-cooked bacon). The corned beef was minimal, sliced super thin, and very very fatty (almost all fat). By the time I picked out the fat, I had maybe a tablespoon of meat left on my sandwich. Even before I picked out the fat, the sandwich looked NOTHING like the pictures. I might give them one more try someday down the road, I hope to be able to update this review. read more

Quite literally the best sandwich shop I have been to. I grew up in the valley and knew how good it was, but didn't realize how lucky I was to have such a good deli near me. I don't live in Colorado anymore, and whenever I come back, the first thing I do is go to Belmont. There are days I will go to belmont for breakfast AND lunch. read more

They have an amazing set of for sale item ranging from bomb, boutique spaghetti sauces, killer mustards and even a restaurant quality curry sauce to take home and prepare your way!! So good. Not sure I've ever been in a deli that smells this good. The aromas get you right when you walk in and the sandwiches hold up their end of the deal. Had breakfast and lunch there. Super good. Spicy Italian Vito is killer. Give me another one please! read more

From a Chicago-style hot beef sandwich with peppers, au jus, and the best roll this side of the Big Apple...to authentic matzo ball soup with carrots, onions and celery...to a turkey, artichoke and goat cheese sandwich toasted on Italian bread. Stopped in with a work buddy and had amazing sandwiches. I had the Vito hot and it was one of the best Italian sandwiches I have had. Full of flavor selection of meat and the bread was soft. The owner is super nice and makes great suggestions. I like large portions so I almost went for a second sandwich! I was thinking it was small but when I finished I was full. Now for the not so good, it seems that the owner never gets my order right. i talk to him face to face about my order and he always seems to screw it up. then there is the whole handling my food and handling money. the cleanliness and food handling is sub par to say the least. you would think someone calling themselves a ny deli would know how to wash there hands after they handle money. It was completely dead at 12pm on the Saturday I was there. I ordered a Buddha Bowl with Pork Belly ($25+$8) which definitely reflected the higher prices and cost of living of the greater Vail area. Service was great. Decor was charming. Plenty of parking in spaces right outside. This was my second choice for lunch that day, but now it'll be my go-to whenever I'm here in the future!

While traveling through Colorado, we made a quick stop for lunch and stumbled across a phenomenal deli with great New York flare. The shop was clean, and the staff were super efficient. I asked Mike, the deli owner, what he eats and he recommended "the Vito." This spicy Italian sandwich was full of lasting flavor. I'm allergic to gluten and I was able to get it on a gluten free bread and it was the best sandwich I have ever had! I typically don't care for coleslaw but the flavors were fantastic. Thanks for the wonderful experience and I cannot recommend this deli shop more! We will travel out of our way to stop there again! read more

great food, but here is the problem, the owner of this business hates money... he closes way too early, on a busy day the guy works bankers hours, disappears like a librarian... its called work ethic... you should try it sometime... stay open & I might recommend your business how good of a product you have doesn't matter if you're not open to actually sell it the key to ability is availability read more

I just had the Empire Maker for the first time! Best hot Pastrami or Reuben I have ever had. The textures were right on with toasted bread, perfectly cooked pastrami and the perfect amount of sauce to hold it all together. The Affirmed burrito for breakfast on a sun dried tomato wrap is a nice way to start the day! Those 2 items will keep you coming back. read more

I think these are the best sandwiches in the valley. My personal favorite is the classic corned beef Reuben. If your a vegetarian there are also plenty of choices. The meat is quality boars head. I would highly recommend this place read more
