Came here on a whim as we were passing through on our roadtrip across America. I hopped on Yelp and saw this place has good reviews and seemed decent. My husband got the VITO- that shiz was bomb!!!! I got the daily special which was the Gyro. It was good, and the coleslaw was really yummy. My kids also gave it 2 thumbs up. They got a hotdog, easy goer, and the Tuna. All really good. I recommend this place if you want a good deli sandwich. Staff super cool too! read more

I can't say enough about this deli and the sandwich I had! My husband had been here during work travels before and insisted we get our lunch while passing through on our way to Utah. I am thrilled we did because this will now become a MUST from now on. I had the Hot Vito and it was, quite possibly, the best sandwich I have ever had. Tasty deli sandwiches with a horse-racing theme. Fresh bread, quality ingredients and a nice ratio of new creations and familiar standbys on the menu. Service is quick and friendly, and the restaurant is kept neat and clean for sit-in diners. In addition to sandwiches, Belmont offers tasty Chicago hot dogs. The sandwiches may seem a bit small for the price to some - you can get a foot-long sandwich at Subway for $5 - but I would suggest that's a combination of better ingredients and the cost of being a local business in Edwards, CO. Uodate: Someone recently asked me why only three stars if there weren't any negative aspects of my review. Good question. I'd only been here a few times and I guess I tend to consider 3 a perfectly acceptable score for most places that are good, but not great. In the case of the Belmont, I'm not sure what might turn it from good to great - that's the deal with great, it's what you don't expect that provides it. Since the initial review, I've been back a few times and, more importantly, I rated the smiling moose a 3. If the moose is a 3 (still a good rating), the Belmont will have to be a 4, because it is to my mind the better option. read more

Amazing! We were driving through town on our way to Boulder and found Belmont Deli on Yelp. So glad we did. We ordered the Palace Malice and Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches to share. So fresh and incredible blend of flavors and textures. We loved them so much that we planned to stop on our way back to California. Sadly they close at 3 and we missed them by 30 minutes. We will be back. As an aside, we appreciated that they are taking Covid-19 seriously and are mindful of keeping their employees and customers safe. read more

We went there yesterday before heading up to Beaver Creek. I ordered "Empire Maker" with pastrami and my little one ordered small version of grilled cheese. The sandwiches were definitely freshly made, you could tell easily once you got a big bite out of them! My Reuben tasted great, nice balance with all the ingredients. The small grilled cheese sandwich was very easy for my little one to eat and she enjoyed it before she got full, about 3/4 of it. The place has lots of seating which is great since the place got crowded right after we got in! Nice decoration and good staff. I will definitely come here again when I am in town next time! We've been stopping here for years for some great sandwiches, especially the corned beef variety. The last two stops were so disappointing. Oct 2016 and again June 2017. I was hoping the October grizzle- fat-fest was a fluke. Yesterday's sandwich was just as bad. (Think texture of cheap, half-cooked bacon). The corned beef was minimal, sliced super thin, and very very fatty (almost all fat). By the time I picked out the fat, I had maybe a tablespoon of meat left on my sandwich. Even before I picked out the fat, the sandwich looked NOTHING like the pictures. I might give them one more try someday down the road, I hope to be able to update this review. read more

Quite literally the best sandwich shop I have been to. I grew up in the valley and knew how good it was, but didn't realize how lucky I was to have such a good deli near me. Now for the not so good, it seems that the owner never gets my order right. i talk to him face to face about my order and he always seems to screw it up. then there is the whole handling my food and handling money. the cleanliness and food handling is sub par to say the least. you would think someone calling themselves a ny deli would know how to wash there hands after they handle money. Stopped in with a work buddy and had amazing sandwiches. I had the Vito hot and it was one of the best Italian sandwiches I have had. Full of flavor selection of meat and the bread was soft. The owner is super nice and makes great suggestions. I like large portions so I almost went for a second sandwich! I was thinking it was small but when I finished I was full.
