This place was good. there was a change of ownership and it's been downhill. They no longer give you a side with your $12 slice of bread. They have cut back on the ingredients included on your price of bread. Today I got the hot veto and received 2 slice of meet 1 slice of cheese and a tomato slice cut in half. I once truly enjoyed the food here. Now it's the quality of o fresh made gas station sub. if you go here get the pizza. It's the best around.

This was one of the best little subs I've ever had. The bread was 10/10 which most places sleep on. Wish I lived closer to come back and try a cold one!

If you're staying in Avon it'll be worth the 10 min drive up 70 to check this place out. So happy to have randomly found this place of creative delicious sandwich creations. I have been enjoying phenomenal sandwiches for years at Belmont. As a hospitality professional, I have also sent countless of guests in for lunch. The bread has changed and it has certainly affected my love for the sandwiches. The Vito, the Jazil and my favorite breakfast Sammy......they all have new bread that is just not as good. Let me make this short and simple, I am from NJ and have found my to go place when it comes to east coast style subs! To top it off, I met the owner let him know how happy we were, and he told us to come back for breakfast and try the TAYLOR ham. I screamed to my husband "babe they have taylor ham can you believe it". Yea I made a fool of myself but for good reason! Belmont Deli and it's owner are both a class act. The sandwiches are wonderful but one stands out as being a unique and wonderful combinations of flavor and that is the Cuban Sandwich. We visited the deli on two of our 5 days stay in Edwards. The Cuban is the winner to be sure! If you are traveling on the I-70, plan your trip to get your lunch here in Edwards- pass all the fast food on the way to a much healthier establishment. One day we picked up our food to go and drove over to the Crazy Mtn. brewery that is right below the Edwards off ramp. Outdoor picnic tables and a taster of beer- add a Cuban sandwich from Belmont and you got it made! Will always be stopping here in the future. read more

Belmont has a wide variety of options and will make a specialized sandwich with any of the ingredient they have. The food is good and the management is friendly and fun to talk to. The food is easy to distinguish from that of large chain restaurants. read more

Such a good sandwich. I ordered the Union which is a ruben with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut. It was so delicious. I ordered a full thinking i would save half but ended up eating the whole thing. The food was hot and the seasoning was great. I also love that they have Zapps potato chips which is great because i thought they were only in the South. Great sandwiches ! A little pricy for gluten free options. Just ordered the easy goer. Delicious sandwich . Asked for gluten free bread and basically paid $12 for a half size sandwich. I have never been disappointed with the vegetable sandwiches. I recommend the D'Tara. The fresh artichokes make that sandwich something special. Service is great and timely. Only thing I would change is more seating . This deli does not accommodate large groups. read more

Delicious breakfast sandwiches! I'd recommend the Vito, which has pork roll (a New Jersey treat), and the Juniper. The spinach in the Juniper is cooked, which is a little different, but in a good way. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Currently, Google says they're closed on Fridays, but they're actually open. Also, Google maps mistakenly puts their location over by Larkburger--if you're facing Larkburger, turn around and walk forward about 50 yards (either side of the building is fine, they have an entrance on each) and you'll be there. read more

I'm sorry to write such a negative review after not even being able to try their food. Just called at 3:22 pm to order a sandwich to go, yelp says they're open until 5 pm. Apparently they now close at 3 pm. Not that big of a deal, until the guy answering the phone becomes rude, says it's yelp's problem - and when I politely suggest they might want to get times updated and hangs up on me. Truly unprofessional. read more

We live in Grand Junction, about 2 hours from Belmont Deli. Every time we travel anywhere near Edwards we make it a point to eat at the Deli or get something to go. My husband always gets the Empire maker, pastrami on rye. Loves it. My favorite is the Native Dancer BLT. The sandwiches are huge and delicous. Mike, was just as friendly and nice as could be. This place is awesome. It has definitely become my "go to" spot for breakfast and lunch. It is a small New York style deli that offers both take-out or dine in options. All of Belmont's sandwiches are named after racing horses (which I think is super fun). :) Everything is made right there in house and is tasty and flavorful. I definitely recommend everyone give this place a try for a quick grab and go breakfast or lunch before hitting the hill!!! read more

I have to go to Belmont every now and then for lunch to get my favorite sandwich, "the Vito", the spicy Italian sandwich... So good. Make sure you ask for it hot! A little pricey, but well worth it considering the deliciousness and the fact that it comes with a small side of pasta salad and a pickle spear. And they carry my favorite chips - Zapp's. The Assault breakfast sandwich is awesome as well. read more

He was busy but made the time to chat with us about skiing. He was very attentive - asking us if we needed anything, always making sure our water was filled. He was also just a nice guy to talk to! We ordered the 1/2 chicken - super flavorful, and we had the meatloaf which was our favorite. We loved the sauce! Both meals came with TWO sides. We arrived when it was pretty slow, and by the time we left it was packed, causing Diego to run around helping everyone. But Diego kept his cool and smile and made our visit enjoyable.

There was a small miscommunication with the wine we wanted from the tasting, but the way the staff handled it truly set them apart. Their customer service was exceptional--they responded quickly, were incredibly friendly, and even allowed us to come back and exchange the wine for the one we originally wanted with no hassle at all. That level of customer service is rare and so appreciated. Add in great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a fantastic wine selection, and this place is a must-visit. While traveling through Colorado, we made a quick stop for lunch and stumbled across a phenomenal deli with great New York flare. The shop was clean, and the staff were super efficient. I asked Mike, the deli owner, what he eats and he recommended "the Vito." This spicy Italian sandwich was full of lasting flavor. I'm allergic to gluten and I was able to get it on a gluten free bread and it was the best sandwich I have ever had! I typically don't care for coleslaw but the flavors were fantastic. Thanks for the wonderful experience and I cannot recommend this deli shop more! We will travel out of our way to stop there again! read more

great food, but here is the problem, the owner of this business hates money... he closes way too early, on a busy day the guy works bankers hours, disappears like a librarian... its called work ethic... you should try it sometime... stay open & I might recommend your business how good of a product you have doesn't matter if you're not open to actually sell it the key to ability is availability read more

I just had the Empire Maker for the first time! Best hot Pastrami or Reuben I have ever had. The textures were right on with toasted bread, perfectly cooked pastrami and the perfect amount of sauce to hold it all together. The Affirmed burrito for breakfast on a sun dried tomato wrap is a nice way to start the day! Those 2 items will keep you coming back. read more

I think these are the best sandwiches in the valley. My personal favorite is the classic corned beef Reuben. If your a vegetarian there are also plenty of choices. The meat is quality boars head. I would highly recommend this place read more
