My wife and I were traveling through Colorado and we decided to just pull off I-70 for gas and a quick bite for lunch. We always try to find local places and not use chain restaurants. We were not disappointed in this stop. We both got a Cuban sandwich with potato salad and really enjoyed it. Friendly service and fresh made food. Our go-to sandwich shop in Eagle County/Vail Valley. Tasty sandwiches with fresh cut Boar's Head meats, very reasonable prices, and nice extras like a pickle and a small coleslaw, potato salad, or pasta salad with each sandwich. Their half sandwiches are a good size and I've gotten the full a few times when really hungry. They're open to customizing you order too, by making it "hot" and toasting the bread, heating the meat, and melting the cheese on the griddle. I always get my ""Ruler on Ice" hot with cheese and it's awesome. Only slight "con" would be they seem to always get one small thing wrong per order: ask for no tomato, get tomato. Added mustard once when it wasn't requested. Once forgot the bacon on my wife's turkey club. No biggie. Otherwise, awesome place. read more

Best deli in Eagle County hands down. I love their fresh quality ingredients, in season produce and yummy bread! I have eaten here 14 times and they have made my order incorrectly 12 times out of the 14. Attitude-check. Expensive-check. The two times they got my order correct was when I ordered a lb. of chicken salad! The food is good but c'mon! I kept going back thinking "no way can they get it wrong again" but after today I am done with this place. read more

We were so disappointed with our first visit and take-away. Ordered 2 "Specials" that come with a pickle...one did, one did not :( Ordered a soup from the menu..."No soups in the summer" was the reply. :( Ordered a "Pass Catcher" --garlic spread, hummus, red peppers, capers, lettuce, & goat cheese...no taste of garlic, 3 small red pepper pieces, no capers, no goat cheese, then they added a 1/2 tomato slice??? :( No choice in bread offered, cole slaw advertised but macaroni salad given. :( Truly disappointed. read more

I was disappointed in my visit. My sandwich was NOT a bagel. I had to wait like 20 mins and they forgot the salmon and capers. I brought it back and they didn't even make a new one. The sandwich was cold also. Not worth $13. read more

I have written 3 yelp reviews so far, and they've all been negative. So I was pretty excited when I realized I was going to get to write a positive one! The staff here are extremely efficient, courteous, and eager to make your dining experience a good one. At one point I left my meal to purchase a bag of chips, and the manager (owner, maybe?) told me to sit down and enjoy my meal, that I could take care of that later. That showed me that pleasing the customer is the first priority and it also made me feel kinda special! I can't wait to try more of their menu items, and look forward to my next visit for sure. Biked over to Edwards from Vail and was looking for a good spot for picnic supplies. This place hit he spot - hot dogs and pbj's for the midgets and pretty gourmet sandos for the adults. Went here a few weeks ago and was disappointed at how little deli meat was in my sandwich. Today, I decided to give it another chance. Thought maybe they had an off day... I am so disappointed. My sandwich had 1 slice of turkey and 1 slice of roast beef. I had remembered last time that my sandwich was dry too so I ordered extra tomatoes this time which they charged .75 cents for. Fine. So with chips and a fountain drink the total was roughly 17$. My sandwich was dry again. I opened it and saw a mayo dot about the size of a quarter. 2 slices of meat, and yeah those extra tomatoes??? I got 3 slices. The bread had been refrigerated and broke in 10 pieces on my first bite. I was so bummed. I don't mind paying 17$ for a sandwich, chips and a fountain drink if it's worth it.. but for literally 2 slices of meat? It's not worth it! Avon deli is 100 x better, gives an inch of meat and the bread is amazing. Kids working here don't give a crap either... skip it. read more

WoW! What a new found gem! The bell man at our hotel gave us the recommendation and we were thrilled to find yet another fabulous deli in our old hometown. I had the American Pharaoh and I am still dreaming about it. And that slaw... YuMmO!! Keep up the divine deliciousness! Stumbled upon this place on a road trip pit stop. Had a delicious bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. My boyfriend had the spicy italian, which he described as "f-ing awesome." Both came with homemade pasta salad on the side. I tried to buy an extra pickle and they gave it to me for free. They sell lots of cool jellies and mustards too. read more
