I typically avoid motels because of the "sketchiness" that I tend to associate with them. However, I was passing through on a road trip and really needed a place to crash overnight. There weren't many options available so this place would have to do. We arrived late and pulled on to the well lit parking lot. It felt safe. Check in was quick and easy so we were able to get to the room immediately. It's clean and that is what's most important. It also has a fridge and microwave along with a tv. It did however lack some of the standard items found in the chain hotels. Moisturizer and conditioner would've been great. How much more would it really cost them to toss these items in? Oh well. Also no breakfast offered but they do have coffee. Chain restaurants nearby might have to be your go to. Look I know what I signed up for and was pleasantly surprised. I understood that it wasn't a Hilton property and knew to keep my expectations in check. The rates are unbeatable! It worked out just fine.

Trail rides are open to both members and nonmembers at different price points. You have to go to Salt Fork to rent a pontoon. It's sad to see a great facility being run like an afterthought.
