I did a partial kitchen reno and needed to match the existing quartz counters that Mona's team installed last time. Ran into a problem: they didn't have any remnants in that color, and I'd have to purchase a whole slab just to match a little section. Mona came to the rescue! She offered me a remnant of a different color that she promised matches really really closely the original color. And since the new section was to be installed across from the old one (not contiguous), it would be very hard to tell. Sure enough, it worked out perfectly and Mona saved me a lot of money by finding a creative solution. Just like last time, I was doing this long distance without seeing anything in person. With contractors there is always drama or miscommunications, especially if you are not there to supervise. Not with Mona. Her reliability, attention to detail, and smart problem-solving in every project, no matter how small, give me total peace of mind. And the prices are still very reasonable, even years later! A week goes by and I don't hear anything, so I call. I speak to someone else on the phone who says "not sure why she didn't get back to you but I'll take a look at this and email you tonight." Things happen, I understand that. But then I don't hear anything. That was on June 7th, almost two weeks ago. I've received nothing. No follow up, nothing. Two different employees ghosted me. Even if they didn't want to take on my project, they could have at least told me. They delayed us. Serves us right for not shopping around more. And then I just received a generic follow up email, obviously from some bot or something. It irked me but made me laugh more than anything. "Perfect!" WTF? It also reminded me to write this review, so thanks.

This company installed granite countertops in my newly remodeled kitchen seven years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this at the time and ended up spending thousands of dollars repainting my cabinets, only to recently learn from another contractor that water had been seeping through the faulty seam all along, causing additional damage. When I contacted the company, they asked for $300 to reseal it, which feels unreasonable given that this appears to be an installation issue. I even offered to wait until they were working in the area, since it's a quick fix, but they were not willing to accommodate. I would recommend looking for a company that stands behind its work and provides better long-term support. Also, if possible, avoid placing seams near the sink--what seems like a minor detail can lead to significant damage over time.

Starting in January, after 4 months of design discussions, measurements, and planning, my mom had given him half the contracted price as deposit 4 weeks ago, but 2 weeks ago he said he's not ready to begin the project on the scheduled date and wanted to start in the fall. My mom agreed and asked him to return the deposit. He came by when my mom was not home and gave an envelope to me, and I had stupidly signed the receipt (without properly counting the money). When my mom fully counted the money after she returned home, there was $1,200 short. He maintains he gave the full refund. My mom and I tried to speak with him multiple times, but he became angry and started shouting that he's done and he doesn't owe my mom a dime more. He comes across as a trustworthy person, but our experience has proven otherwise.
