The nurses and staff were always available to help my mom and to answer any questions from family members. All the staff was very kind and patient - from bringing her meals, to showers, to making her feel comfortable. She had her own room that was always clean. The facility is very comfortable - with places for visitors to sit and talk to staff or patient, away from room. Very, very clean - always someone cleaning equipment and floors. Most of the staff was very apathetic (especially the night staff). I was almost given the wrong medication a few times. Fortunately for me, I know my medication very well. I have severe anxiety. My panic attacks were commonly ignored. One night, I cried and borderline screamed the entire night (I didn't sleep). The nurse ignored me, even though she could have talked me down or given me a Xanax, which I am prescribed. It was my first night there, and I was scared. I went to a different rehab facility (Encompass) after my stroke, and had very few panic attacks. The staff was always able to talk me down. Some nights, I waited as long as an hour to use the restroom. I had alarms on my bed (pretty standard). I eventually started setting off my alarm after 20 minutes, so the staff would come in and I could use the restroom. I am not a difficult patient. I never had problems like these anywhere else (hospital, other rehab). Don't send your family or yourself here! It was terrible.

I've been to a lot of different rehabs before coming here there's a difference in them. Encompass is the best by far there is no comparison I've gotten to know a lot of them and it's a blessing to call them my friends. All the staff that works here goes out of their way to make sure your needs are met. From the drs to all the staff make you feel like you're their only patient. There're so many positive things about Encompass if you need to go there once you will always try to go back. The next time you need rehab think about what you want to get out of your stay. If you put the effort in the staff will help you reach your goal. i think the highest score you can give them is a five if it was possible I'd give them 5x that.

If you are court ordered for an assessment, DO NOT GO HERE. There are different people that do…read moreassessments, and if you get Rick. You are getting IOP. Even if you do not do drugs, have no history of drug use or abuse. He will give you IOP. His assessment is you filling out a questionaire, no time spent talking to you, getting to know you. Just a quick look at the questionaire, and boom! You get IOP. An assessment should include both the questionaire and talk time. He also based his decision on what he thinks the court might want in the future. Basically saying, " Might as well do it now to get it over with". Well, Rick, the court only wanted an assessment. Not your opinion of a court case . Not your opinion of whether they would want an IOP in the future. That is not for you to decide. So here you have a person who is clean from drugs, being forced to go 4 times a week for 13 weeks for an intensive drug program. What a joke. You should be ashamed of yourself. $100 a week too. Its just a money making scheme. May karma be with you
