There's a man with bushy hair and a beard who is so very incredibly rude and unprofessional. Fire that rude , unapologetic, terrible customer service. Worse very worst of places to deal with. I'd rather let my vehicle rot ,because that's all they do is rotten. Than let this place ever ever touch my vehicle. They towed it, all new dents,scratches on my 2018 GMC. SSomehow mmy windshield had gotten a big crack, there absolutely nothing wrong with my windshield, and all new little dents and huge scratches all down the side of it. I have pictures of my GMC before they towed it because I've heard sometimes towed companies do this and then deny it. Getting a lawyer to see if I can sue for damages. Of the hundreds of auto repair shops in Worcester, my car broke down a few years ago near Belsito Automotive.... Since then, Belsito has been my auto maintenance headquarters. Bottom Line Up Front: - No BS: You get the repairs you need and common-sense explanations why you need them. - Quality service: Your car will be repaired fully, promptly and expertly. - Reasonable prices: Repairing cars ain't easy or cheap. Generally you get what you pay for. At Belsito, you get a reasonable price. Back to my broken car: For most auto repair shops, a desperate walk-in with a broken car is an easy mark. Not Belsito. Explaining my sad circumstance to the receptionist drew Paul (the owner) from the back. He knew what to do, saying, "we'll tow your car here right now and see what's what." Within 20 minutes, my car was on a lift in the garage. Within an hour, the mechanics diagnosed my problems (many, when it came to the car). Paul sat down beside me and offered repair options with estimates of how long each repair would take and the cost of each option. He had me at "If it were my car, I would..." At Belsito, they take care of your car so your car takes care of you. I won't go anywhere else. read more

I had an excellent towing experience at Belsito. I had a blowout of a run flat tire on Rte20 in Auburn. Obviously I had no spare. I was able to make it to Belsito 15 minutes before closing (I would have used AAA or Lexus Roadside but both told me because of the China-virus I could not ride with the driver when my car would be towed to the Lexus dealership in Northborough - I was over 60 miles from home). I inquired at Belsito and they were so nice and reassuring. They arranged a flatbed tow immediately and I was allowed to go with the driver (we both wore face masks). We arrived at the Lexus dealership before its closing where I could get a Lexus loaner car in order to get home. Belsito's manager Walter and the driver Rob were the best! read more

Overall decent work although I remain skeptical - I went in for a new tie rod after my tire shop found an issue with it during a routine alignment. Then about a week later the noise and vibration I'd faintly heard earlier began to get worse. So I brought it back in and they said I needed two new wheel bearings (they recommended I get both because one was worse than the other). Ok, fine I thought. Then when I picked up the car they said the sound and vibration was "mostly gone" and "it should be fine." They suggested that maybe it might need a different job done if it continues. Mind you I'm already into this for $1,400 between the tie rod and wheel bearings, and an extra $120 if you count the rental car I needed for the day. The car feels ok, but I just feel like a better mechanic would be able to tell me exactly what I needed to make the problem go away entirely. In my experience car problems don't just "sort of" go away - it's either fixed or it isn't. It just seems like really awkward and convenient timing that all this started to happen right after I had the tie rod replaced. Not to mention the 10% AAA discount posted in the waiting area only applies to labor, so it's really closer to a 5% overall discount. If the problem persists I'm not sure if I'll be going back. read more

Recently, someone crashed into the rear bumper of my Corolla. (The car was parked in my deeded spot at my condo.) After approximately 40 years of taking my cars to Paul Belsito, he recently blew me off. I called Herb Chambers in Auburn and they told me to come right over. They were calm and professional, and did not charge me. FYI, the car still has the funky bumper, but that's because I declined to spend the necessary money. read more

The worst customer service imaginable. I got into a hit and run, my medicine and other items were locked in my car and due to the nature of the accident I was rushed to the hospital and I was unable to open the doors. Because this was a weekend, Belsito's wouldn't even let me get my asthma medicine or house keys from in the car until the following weekday. When I called to try and ask for help, the man proceeded to tell me "if you need your medicine, you can go to a hospital." Assholes. read more

My suggestion is to NEVER bring your car to Belsito's! What an awful experience. We called to make an appointment to have my brakes done. They said to come in anytime between 12-2 and the process would take 1-2 hours. I was watching my 4 month old daughter so I planned my schedule around this. A after an hour and 15min in the waiting room i went to check on the status and they said they had JUST TAKEN IT IN! Why even have an appt if your not going to stick to it? Then the owner came out to tell me that the car would be ready in about 40 min, which would have brought them under the 2hr mark. It's been over 2hrs and 20min since then and I'm still in the waiting room. I've been here for almost 4 hours now! NEVER AGAIN will come here. What terrible service! Stay away. read more

The owner is a complete jerk and will harass you. So manipulative and rude, the guy gave my father a hard time about leaving the car outside of the gate for him to drive back home so we didn't have to pay the storage fee for leaving overnight, and they charged me $65 to look at it. I didn't want them to look at it, but they called me at work and spun it to sound like he wanted to make sure it was safe to drive. I just needed to get off the phone and think about anything else for a while after my accident and they totally took advantage of that. This should have all been included in my yearly AAA membership fee but instead I'm paying for AAA and whoever else they send me to in the process because they're trained to prey on traumatized vulnerable people in distress. I have been a car nut for 40 years. I have restored a few antique cars myself and have had my share of "less than honorable" mechanics. I have been going on-and-off for years to Belito's. I can say Paul, the owner, is a straight up guy. Ben, the manager, will go out of your way to be extremely helpful. They the job done but I've gotten my car fixed here in the past, even for oil changes and car inspections. Things are good but they honestly work as slow as snails! I made an appointment the day before and they took the car right in... but I've been here for almost 2 hours now. And this is the first time. My husband's family has been going there since he was a kid. They are an honest, skilled place for repairs. I'm going to agree with previous poster but this only reflects the "head tech" Ben (or whatever his title is). I stood there and two of the mechanics just talked around me. I had to ask TWICE for my car-- second time, quite loudly. Dave and Paul Belsito are great guys. The Worcester police had my car towed during a snowstorm when I was out of state. It was not the tow companies fault. They were extremely professional, helpful, and worked with me on the fees. Had a good experience until I picked up my car. Friendly receptionist, super fast tow pickup, serviced my car quickly in light of no appt. Had the alternator and battery replaced. HOWEVER after driving for a few minutes noticed a significant problem with my climate control -- one side of the vehicle works fine but the other only pumps out high heat, any time the climate power is on, no matter the thermostat setting, outside temperature, or even if in AC mode. Completely fubar. Never had a problem or issue of any kind with the heat/cool system and definitely working perfectly before Belsito serviced my car. I brought the car back in and I'm told it's a "coincidence". Unbelievable. To get it fixed I have to leave it indefinitely and then pay for the additional service. I don't live around here so it's not even worth my time to dispute and fight it. This is the most outrageous thing that's ever happened to me with any service provider and my advice is to think twoce before letting the same thing happen to you. read more

Not only were we towed during a blizzard, but the MANAGER robbed our car for over one dollars of stolen property. He then threatened us and told us that he would "lay us out." The cops came and we reported our stolen items, but because they work for the police we were kicked off the property and never recieved our possessions back. read more

Very condescending towards women! I felt as though they were talking down to me because I don't know about cars. Plus, they profusely assured me that they had the lowest price on a set of tires I was interested in. Fortunately I felt so directly talked down to that I decided to go home and call around. Total crooks and thieves, especially when it comes to towing. I recently parked my car outside DCU bank in Walmart plaza at 12:00 midnight. No-one in sight, so I pulled up next to entrance because it was late at night and I had a cash deposit. Technically I was parked illegal, but seeing it was midnight with no-one around, I parked near entrance because of cash I had. I was inside at ATM for less than 1 minute, I came outside and there was a tow truck already hooked up my car!!! I was furious, he said "$90 to release it or I take it to the pound. After arguing my point the scum driver would not let my car go. We finally agreed to $40 which he put in his pocket and I'm sure never reported it. These are the type of things I NEVER forget!!! read more

My daughter's car broke down near Worchester. AAA towed it to Belsito. We live 45 miles east from there so it didn't make sense to tow it home for repair. Belsito did an outstanding job explaining what was wrong with the car and fixing it. I wish we lived closer so we could use them more regularly. read more

The description above says "Tires, Towing," and that is maybe 20% of what they do. For me they've been a full-service auto repair shop...and here's how I know. In March I was in a pretty serious front-end collision with my 10-year-old (but still working perfectly) Honda Accord. Belsito's was the company that was sent by the police to tow it to their yard (clue #1). When I drove my temporary rental car there the next day the guy who helped me (really wish I could remember his name) said they would take care of everything. When I checked the car before leaving the entire front end of the was horribly crumpled, but when I tested the engine it purred like a kitten. I told him that the insurance company would probably want to just total it and be done with it, but I knew there were many good years left in it (it had only just crossed 100K miles) and begged him to try to save it...which he was miraculously able to do after the adjuster told him to trash it. He struck a deal with the adjuster. The adjuster gave him a budget and told him he wouldn't approve one more dime...so the Belsito's guy stuck to the budget, and given that they discovered a couple of unforeseen things along the way, I know they didn't make a lot of money on this job. What I loved was his passion for Hondas, and it became his cause to save the car as well as mine. I got it back in beautifully restored shape in just a couple of weeks, and it has run better than it had for years. Last Thursday, as I completed my last chore before hosting my son's 40th birthday clambake at my home I got into my car in the Bed, Bath & Beyond parking lot and it wouldn't start. I was frantic. Amazingly the AAA truck arrived in under 20 minutes. He said it was the starter motor, so I called Belsito's from the cab of his tow truck to say it was coming and they said they would do their best to get it back to me that night if it really was just the starter motor. The AAA guy dropped me at my house (with $200 worth of lobsters & clams in a cooler) on the way to Belsito's. That night, after the party at about 9:00p, my best friend dropped me at Belsito's, where they had locked the keys and my charge receipt on the front seat and I just used my other keys to open it and drive home. Huge kudos to both AAA & Belsito's. Maybe the people who have reviewed this place unfavorably aren't very nice to the people who do the work. I have found everyone I've encountered there to be friendly, incredibly professional, and very sensitive to time & cost. I honestly don't see myself taking that car anywhere else. read more

Sent out a rude young man, who never even got out of his truck until he got out to grab the phone he had handed to me when I said that I would not pay the more than double to quote price.
