I just moved to town and, unfortunately, got into a fender bender on my way home on my first day of work. I don't know much about the area, but I ended up taking my vehicle here in a panic, after getting an estimate elsewhere, and after failing to pass state inspection because of the car's smashed front bumper. Everyone at WFM was immediately helpful. I just showed up (in a panic!) and a few folks came out to take a look at the damage to my front bumper/side door/hood/headlight and to talk me through their initial thoughts on repairs. They also cleaned up the bumper a little and made sure the sharp pieces where it had been smashed weren't exposed. They secured my loose headlight so it wouldn't fall off, until I could take it in for repairs. A couple days later, my partner dropped my car and estimate off at WFM while I was at work. When I picked it up 2.5 weeks later, it looked even better than when I first got it. The bumper, hood, door, and headlight were so meticulously repaired and detailed. Not only that, but the folks at Worcester Foreign Motors totally cleaned the outside and inside of my car as well, free of charge. This could not have been an easy task: the car had been a mess after moving all my stuff and two cats up the coast. It looks like a brand new car now. It was stressful to have the accident so soon after moving, but a blessing to find these folks. I highly recommend WFM to anyone, and I will be taking my car back there in the future. read more

I'd give no stars if I could. My car has been in this shop for two months, my insurance won't cover a rental anymore, I'm stranded without a car, can't get to work, and they won't answer my calls. The owner has effectively stolen my car. And my insurance has already cut the check so now I have to sue for it back. I think the guy working the shop, Tommy, has a substance issue and has spent the check. I took another car in for a small issue and he basically kidnapped me to a bar - I was alone and afraid to say no to his insistence and put myself in any danger. This guy has serious issues. Do not take your car here and do not go to the shop alone if you're a woman. read more

Had an excellent experience getting my 2013 Honda Accord repaired. Very good bodywork, fair pricing, and Tommy definitely treats you fairly - very personable and honest. Even the detailing of all the small scratches and dings was excellent - my car hasn't looked this good since I drove it off the lot. A good local company that should be supported. While I hope to not have to get massive body work done again, if I did I'm going back to WFM. read more

The best. Excellent workmanship. I was there twice with my Subaru Outback... the first time maybe around 2007... the Subaru dealership (Patrick Subaru) recommend them. I had been t-boned in the front right quarter panel. They did a great job, looked good as new. Insurance covered everything. A couple of winters later, I got badly side-swiped by a snow plow in Oxford. Hit and run. Tommy and his crew did an amazing job fixing everything. I had a high deductible and I had to pay out of pocket, but I remember feeling like I got a good deal. Here we are maybe 4 years later and my wife needs a new side view mirror... I called on the phone and Tommy remembered me, and said he could have it fixed on Wednesday if I get him all the info today (its Monday) and, for much less than the dealer would charge. My first impression to Tommy is respectful and honest. The result also proved that he is very experienced and skillful, he fixed the problems with my axel and alignment problems that had never been solved by Volkswagen for years (never ever go to dealer again after the warranty expired). Not as many other dealers or auto shops, he didn't simply tell me what I should do. He provided a few options and asked me how I want to fix it and how much money I would like to spent on it. First, he spent few hours to had a through inspection of the problem (didn't charges me for that), then he brought me into his shop and showed me what exactly is going on with my car. he also showed me the new parts that we ordered before installation, and the broken parts that was taken off. My wife knows the owner Tommy through a relation and has taken her car to the shop a few times...mostly for issues covered under insurance. She recently brought the 2007 Mazda in for a brake job at which Tommy quoted her "around 350-400. That was for back and front rotors and pads. To her surprise, the bill was almost 1k. "Needed work" was done without her authorization - not a phone call or anything - and resulted in a bill more than twice the amount anticipated. We paid...but that's the last time we will ever take any of our vehicles there. Transparency and honesty are paramount in business. read more

WATCH OUT! A flag should have been when the owner talked a mile a minute without listening to a word I said. He told me he could take my bike in right away, which he knew is what I wanted to hear. But then he held it hostage for 2 weeks without doing anything to it or even calling me. Over the next couple of weeks, there was always an excuse why things weren't done and why I HAD TO CALL HIM, because he couldn't do so much as a courtesy call. I had to then explain to him what my expectations were for a professional shop. Lastly, when I finally went to go get the bike, it was realigned by eye, not using professional alignment machines to true the forks/handlebars with the wheelbase, as it still was not perfect. My disk lock, which I left in the saddlebags, was stoles as was the key to it off the key ring I left with him. I sucked it up and didn't et into it with him because I was afraid I'd lose it and grab him by his guinea throat and kill him. Basically, the guy is a con artist and thief, and if he didn't steal my property, is in denial about the trustworthiness of his employees. I will never go back there and would never refer anyone to him, not even an enemy. Run as far away as you can. read more

Tommy and his crew at Worcester Foreign Motors did an amazing job on my only 1 1/2 year old Hyundai Veloster that someone hit. It looks brand new again and the detail job has made the car look better than ever. It was done in the time frame they gave me and they helped me with the rental car process. I called Tommy right after the accident and he came in on one of the only holidays they are closed so I could drop the car off and get things going as soon as possible. Right there shows you how much they care about service and their dedication. The front office women, Adrienne, was so nice and helpful with all the questions and help I needed with insurance. A for honesty. A for customer service. A for competence. My Prius died on the mass pike on my way home to Pennsylvania. After checking on yelp I called ahead and had the car towed here. Often when your car breaks down in a strange city, you become prey to all kinds of unscrupulous things. Not with Tommy the proprietor. From the start he made it a priority to get me back on the road. He diagnosed the problem to a hung computer, did a master reset, with my consent replaced my 7-year old starter battery, and had me on the road quickly, for a very reasonable cost. The plastic cover and front bump needed to be replaced after I hit a pot hole in Boston and half the plastic was dragging on the ground. They took care of my car and did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. Because of my work schedule, I was not able to pick up my car during business hours but they were able accommodate me. I was able to get my car the very next day. It is a very nice family run business and the employees seem very happy. We will definitely come back and high recommend them for body work. Their business cards are a holder which have those magnetic safety things for protecting your credit card which is super cool. read more

I had my car towed to Worcester Foreign Motors because my regular garage was booked solid for the week. Boy, I'm glad I did. Tomaso was courteous, knowledgeable, honest. It looked like my fuel pump had failed. That would have cost me many hundreds. But, Tomaso found the problem was due to a bad relay. He charged me for just an hour of labor, because that's all the job involved. I'm glad I discovered his shop. I'm going back next time I need work. Highly recommended. read more

I have been to this shop several times and usually have had a great experience. This past time though, it took about a month to do a job that was originally expected to take a few days. Afterwards, I found out that a mechanic got sick and so they only had one mechanic working the whole shop. The problem with my car also turned out to be much trickier to diagnose than was originally thought. They eventually asked the shop across the street to fix my car. I can understand that delays happen, but I had no idea any of this was happening. I never got a call with an update from them. When I called them, the receptionist didn't seem to know what was happening and promised me a call back with an update which then never happened. They ended up not charging me for the work they did (I did pay the shop across the street) due to the delay so they do want to make it right when things don't go smoothly. If I had known what was happening, I would have been much less frustrated. read more

I was looking for a bodyshop in the area to get a small repair done on my car. Basically a plastic trim piece broke and a replacement needed to be painted and installed. This shop had great reviews and was open on Sat so I stopped by. They gave me a price quote which was very reasonable and told me it'd take a day to get it all done. So 2 days later, on Monday I called them, spoke to a very nice lady and told her that I wanted to schedule this for any day that worked for them. She said that Tommy will call me back. A day passed by and no call. So the next day I called again, spoke to the same lady. She remembered me and said she already gave the message but will remind him again. And that I will definitely get a call back soon. Guess what - no call. I waited for 3 days and finally spent another Sat morning and found a different shop. The repair took 1 day and the price was very close but slightly better. In the end - this whole experience was just a waste of my time. If they're not interested in a small job like this they should just say so. It's not an issue. I am not trying to force anyone to work on my car against their will. I understand that maybe after I called they realized they didn't have time or something but at a minimum I'd expect a phone call saying: we're not interested. read more

Minor accident in our driveway lead to some ugly front-end damage. Never having to have body repair done to my Audi before, I went online to Yelp to see what others recommended in the Worcester area. I read thru a few places before coming to Worcester Foreign Motors and knew I found the place. The reviews about the quality of work and customer service won me over. We had already started the process with the insurance company, but going down to meet with Tommy reassured us that we were going to the best place. We lined up a date to drop off my car, Kim in the front office was helpful in setting us up with a rental car, and off we went, excited to get the car back damage free. Tommy and his team worked with our insurance company to ensure everything that needed to get done was covered and did an incredible job getting my car repaired; so much so, that when we picked it up last night, it looked like he replaced it with a brand-new car!! Tommy and family run a first-rate business. Don't even look for another foreign auto repair shop or body shop in the Worcester area, because you'll be wasting your time. Before this week, I had no previous experience with WFM. I read the Yelp reviews and had my wife's 2006 Volvo towed to WFM after an 'urgent charging system issue' warning light. Tommy went above and beyond to work with me over the phone, to diagnose the issue, to replace the alternator, and to get the car back in my wife's hands. I couldn't ask for more, and I'm pretty fussy! I could go on and on about how satisfied I am with my experience with Worcester Foreign Motors, but I'll leave it at this: I'm on a first name basis with the owner, and my wife is happy! Everyone seemed very nice and personable. However... I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They neglected to rotate the tires. When I brought this to their attention (I was reviewing the bill with the owner/manager) they offered to do it then, but I had already been there 90 minutes and couldn't stay longer. The manager also strongly suggested I replace my air filter because it was dirty and would affect my fuel consumption - while repeatedly insisting he wasn't trying to upsell me. The air filter only had 7500 miles on it and was the cleanest in-use air filter I had ever seen. When I told him this he switched tactics and pointed out that the filter was wavy, evidence of prior moisture. In my opinion it was very minor and looked like it was in good condition. Finally I just capitulated to end the protracted discussion. Also, this was a rainy day. They initially parked my car where it was partially protected by an overhang, but they left the drivers window open and removed the keys from the ignition. Rain was steadily coming in the window for the couple of minutes it took for me to point this out to them and then to find the person who had the keys. Each of these things taken individually would not be a big deal, but all together added up to a less than satisfactory customer experience. read more
