I have never had Ben & Jerry's not from the grocery store so I was looking forward to the experience. Getting into the nitty gritty, it was fine but not memorable for the right reasons. The staff were a highlight, friendly and efficient. Prices were ok, not great. The ratio of cone and ice cream was... odd. Very small cone with two big scoops of ice cream caused it to get all over. Granted it was a summer evening, but the cone had begun melting on my hands within seconds. I had to shovel down the ice cream in an attempt to save my hands, face, shirt, and my dignity. I think with a single scoop or a larger cone, no problem at all. The glue that held the paper together on the cone did stick into the cone. So hopefully no chemicals too bad, or I might start growing a 4th arm. They did have a nice community section where I was able to find iconic events that help integrate me into the community. read more

I've always enjoyed Ben & Jerry's ice cream and now being in Colorado where there is a store front, I was stoked! It's right in the heart of Old Town Square so it's easy to locate and access. The shop is open with plenty of seating inside to get out of the sun, and some fun ride-ons for the kiddos. The staff have been pleasant each time I've come in, it's never been too busy, and the ice cream is tasty as always! It's a bit pricey, but worth it - I mean... it's Ben & Jerry's! I'd love to write a review about the ice cream but I didn't get to even order. I walked in with my daughter tonight (Wed evening) at 8pm. 2 young girls and 2 young guys working having conversations between themselves and the girls on their phones while I sat there waiting for any of them to acknowledge we were there. I was standing right at the counter. There were people behind me. No hello, nothing. Their phones were more important. I'm writing this so the owners know why they are wasting their money on paying kids to "work" there. We left without bothering their party. Even if I would have ordered, I guarantee neither would wash their hands after touching their gross phones and making our ice cream. Maybe we will try again another day. read more

I'm not one for writing reviews, but man the service my partner and I received at this location tonight really killed our mood to the start of Halloween weekend. The two girls (mainly the one dressed in green costume wings) deliberately displayed micro aggressive facial expressions and an annoyed tone while taking our order. While looking at the menu board upon arrival, her obvious annoyance and judge mental glances at us (for whatever reason) was uncomfortable for us. The treats we ordered were good, albeit the snobby attitudes left a bitter impression of this B&J location. We wanted to try something new, but should have stuck to our usual icecream spot at Walrus Ice Cream, the small business a block away where we regularly receive exceptional attitudes while being served. read more

We have had (multiple times) Ben & Jerry's bring their cart for events and parties and they are always so happy to be there, their ice cream is AMAZING (my personal favorite is the coffee chip and strawberry). Man, I love Ben and Jerry's and will still continue to love them, but I took my kids in here and they gave us the wrong order. My son ordered a large waffle cone with chocolate and sprinkles. They gave us a small kid's cone, charged us for the large anyway, and didn't give my son what they ordered. 16 dollars for a kids cone and a waffle cone bowl. All of this came with a harsh attitude too that made me and the kids feel bad and want to leave. I feel bad for young kids working for crappy wages these days. I worked jobs like this too when I was a kid. I get it. There's no reason to overcharge me though, be rude about it, and make a couple of little kids feel bad. read more

I'll admit it: I don't like ice cream. It is too cream and just not enough pleasure for the calories. BUT, on those very rare occasions that I actually want ice cream and not gelato, I go to Ben & Jerry's. What else can I say beside it's Ben & Jerry's!?!? Great ice cream and tons of unique combination of flavors. My personal favorite is the Coconut Seven Layer Bar, which is amazing and tastes exactly like a seven layer bar! I've also never seen this flavor in stores and the shop is the only place for me to find it. They also have a rotation of special flavors that are hard-to-find. Want to take home that hard-to-find flavor? Well lucky you, they hand-pack pints to-go! The location is also perfect right in the middle of Old Town, so you have a nice place to sit and eat your ice cream. Nothing better than an ice cream cone in the middle of Old Town on a hot summer day! The inside is starting to look a little date and could use a little sprucing up, but otherwise this place is great! read more

I guess April 12th is like a free cone day that is nationally recognized(by some ice cream shops anyway) I went to Ben and Jerry's despite being sick with a cold and got a free cone with chocolate fudge ice cream on it. High quality ice cream but it's a bit pricey. On evenings, there can be a line but it moves quickly. I love all of the options and you can see their rare/weekly offerings. Service is quick and with a smile. $5 for ice cream is a bit high. While delicious and riddled with great quality, you have to wonder if it's better to buy a pint of something at the local grocery store. Perhaps this is a visit for special occasions because you have to love Ben & Jerry's the company for all the good they try and do. read more

I recently read that they have implemented vegan ice cream options so I decided to try it out with the family while were visiting the area. I was disappointed that this location only had 2 vegan choices on the menu. I picked the peanut butter cookie option. It was terrible. It was dry and tasted liKe I was eating a big hunk of peanut butter from a jar. I was jealous of the creamy real ice cream my family was enjoying. just got back from my ice cream run to Ben and Jerry's today and it was so amazing, I just HAD to write a review. as an origami lover, it warmed my to see all of the cranes hung up. and it really brightens the mood! Holy cow, there were so many good options to choose from I got so overwhelmed. but the employees were so patient and helped me pick the best flavor which was the coffee coffee buzz buzz buzz! I also got a great deal because the employees suggested I do the great plates fundraiser!! and OMG it was so good! it was like the perfect combo of creaminess, sweetness and just pure deliciousness. and OMG, I can't forget to mention the incredible service... it was almost better than the ice cream... if that's even possible !?!?! this little girl, Chela, was so sweet and was an amazing help when I was trying to choose which flavor to get. I had a very good experience at this Ben and Jerrys. There were a lot of young people working and they were all just soooo sweet! I went in and asked if they had the banana split flavor (my favorite) They did not have it but we all had a great conversation about how good the banana split flavor is! They were all so pleasant to talk to! I wanted a cookie with just a little bit of ice cream. A girl rigged me up a chocolate chip cookie and put just the right amount of ice cream that I WANTED on it. She charged me accordingly to what amount of cookie and ice cream I ordered. They didn't try to rip off by charging me for a full scoop when I didn't want it. Everyone working there was so nice and so helpful and so fun! This is, by far, the best ice cream in town! The shop is owned by a local Fort Collins family. The ice cream is fair trade and free of artificial flavors or colors and is made from cream without gmo's, which makes it a little bit more expensive, but worth it! They make really delicious and creative cakes, too! The staff is exceptionally friendly and are really entertaining. I also choose them over any other "local shop" is that they are dedicated to their community. There is a rack on the wall that has little pamphlets that give you information on their missions, which I would suggest reading. They just started providing marley coffee, which is delicious too, especially when it is really cold out. I occasionally eat at other ice cream shops in town, but am never satisfied with the product, staff friendliness, or cleanliness of the shop like I am with Ben and Jerry's. I would definitely suggest that you check it out for yourself! read more
