When we went out to bids for a sports court in Austin we went to four different vendors. Chris, the owner was very diligent and very on top of the proposal and offered the best overall value. Thinking his behavior during the sales process was reflective of his service, we signed up in April 2025. Mind you the entire process he said would take several weeks. Well, in December 2025, 8 months later the court is not completed and I have decided to terminate the project and find a new vendor. It has been a surreal experience of me chasing him weekly. He would not answer for weeks. He has never once hit a milestone or an expectation. Not once. This is definitely a situation where he takes advantage of "understanding" clients. He is a poor and unfortunately dishonest general contractor and has not employees just iffy subcontractors. I believe he is very aggressive with sales because he needs cashflow and then desperately tries to manage his second-tier subcontractors. I made the mistake of not doing a full diligence when he was recommended (as usual a recommendation of a recommendation) and was attracted to the lower price. His recent on-line reviews are horrible and consistent with my experience. Save yourself the aggravation and pick one of the many other service providers in Austin. I don't really know how this person is still in business. I guess because of people like me that don't do their homework and just go off low prices and faulty recommendations. Regrets.

There's a playground with climbing rocks, swings, slide. Our fur baby absolutely loves climbing and swinging and sliding. He has the best time. He absolutely hates the splash pad (it scares him). We like walking him to this park because it's peaceful and we're usually the only ones there. Sometimes we'll grab a bite to eat on 11th and bring it to the park to eat. It's truly a nice little spot to enjoy being outdoors.

It sits on less than an acre or what might be considered a single residential home site. This property supports quite a number of amenities for its size, including a large covered area perfect for a quartet. This park boasts of a covered pavilion, 2 play scapes, a splash pad, two separate picnic areas with grills, and a fountain. I also spotted two sets of swings and a half basketball court. There are also two additional grills at the pavilion, but I did not see any public bathrooms. One thing I noticed that was noticeably absent was that there are no "no parking" signs next to this park unlike the Swede Hill pocket park just a few blocks away. Definitely a nice community park that benefits the residents in the area.
