They are located pretty close to our home so it's convenient to get to them. Their facility is fairly new in comparison to other vets in the area. They have a full-service facility for veterinary treatment, with the exception of boarding. They also have an online website for medicine/food/etc. that is available, but we haven't used that yet. We've had a few emergencies and they have been great about working us into their schedule with short notice. They also listen to our concerns and take good care of our two dogs. They have friendly front desk staff as well as caring vet techs who handle our dogs gently. They are good about following up with us after a procedure to make sure our dog(s) are doing ok. We would definitely recommend Antelope Animal Hospital to others.

I took her in to get sewn up again ... and they recharged me $85 ... when I complained the doctor said to take $10 off ... she kept bleeding and they said it was because she was still going into heat ... I took her to Brookside and the first thing they did was a blood test ... and immediately put her on medication ... which saved her life ... the doctor said she would not have lived much longer if I hadn't taken her in ... she lived another 13 years ... because I got her away from Lemmons ...

This vet is the WORST…read more After receiving a second opinion on my Dog's broken bone, it was discovered that instead of ordering the correct splint for the injury or sending me elsewhere, Coldwater "rigged" one together. The rig was not even protecting the injury and ended up causing my animal MUCH more pain and discomfort than the actual break itself. Not only that, I was told that if the break did not heal correctly, the next step would be amputation. This worried me and my family sick. The second Vet assured me that there would NEVER be a need for amputation from the injury to my dog, EVER. Worst case scenario was way better than the fear Coldwater sold to me. Also, They charged TRIPLE the cost of any other vet in Weber County. Literally, call anyone else. Please.

He ended up passing of liver failure less than 8 weeks later. We just took our other dog to a new vet - who found multiple issues that Brookside had overlooked (severe arthritis which was written off as "older dogs get stiff", and an ear infection the new vet described as chronic, likely there for at least a year). We had trusted Brookside to care about our animals. They made it very apparent that they can't be bothered anymore.

After going to our vet on Friday since our cat was having continuous seizures they said that they…read morehad never encountered it before and gave us antiseizure medicine and said that they would be closed and if seizures continued to happen to go to an emergency vet. Next morning our cat continued to have seizures every half hour we ended up arriving to Mountain View for an emergency vet visit. They took us in without an appointment and explained to us that the medicine our vet had given us takes days to build before we would even see results. They placed an iv in our sweet cat and helped put more medicine so we would see more results. We shared the blood results that we took the day before from our other vet and they noticed that our cat had higher calcium levels than normal. They informed us that it could be a sign to cancer and had us take another test to see more insight as to her calcium levels. Even with all they did the cost was less that our main vet. They really did help us and after taking her home she didn't have a seizure for 6 hours then turned to every other two hours. We issued medicine as directed to us. Though the nect morning her seizures started to increase we knew that even though the vet was able to buy us more time with our sweet girl her quality of life became into question. We had to make the hard decision of putting her down next day. We called our vet to schedule and they quoted us 500 dollars after calling Mountain View they said that it would only be 74. Goes to show that they care about you and not your money when your going through a hard time. We walked in and they brought us to a room with a comftersble couch and explained the whole process. They asked if we wanted to be in the room and gave us time to say our goodbyes. They came in with our girl we held her they began to administer the medicine putting her to peaceful sleep. After the process they gave us more time to say final goodbyes for her to take with her on the other side. The doctor was so kind and really helped us through. After deciding to taker her home they provide us with a box and packed her with so much respect. Even though it may not have turned out how we hoped this vet really helped us and gave us answers we needed. Throughout the whole process the vet team was informed, understanding and so kind throughout the entire process. They gave us and our pet respect the whole time.

When I first started coming here on referral from my regular vet, the owners were not allowed to go inside due to the pandemic. Upon arrival, I had to park in a numbered parking spot out front, call the number on the sign, and someone would come out and take my dog inside to see the vet. The vet would then call me to discuss the appointment findings and the recommended course of action. Once the visit was complete, the tech would bring my dog back out to me. More recently when I've visited, I was able to go inside with my dog and wait in an exam room. However, when the vet examined my dog, the tech would take my dog to another location where I was not present to see what was happening. I prefer to be with my dog during the visit. My latest visit was because my dog had a serious issue, and we ended up having to make the hard decision to put her down. Mountain West performed the procedure in a special bereavement room with a couch. It was nice that they separated me from the busy exam rooms and waiting room of the facility for this painful process. During all of my visits, the staff were friendly and accommodating. A few things I wished were different are that I have always asked but never received a printed copy of the visit summary for my dogs. They are very automated and seem to prefer to not print anything. And it is hit and miss with getting the summary via email also. Also because they are an emergency facility, they post on the walls and doors that there may be a long wait due to possible emergencies coming in. I usually have waited no less and 1 hour and as much as 5 hours during my appointment. There does not seem to be a option for a quicker turn around.

This group of professionals showed such care, kindness, and compassion, keeping me informed about everything. I am pleased to say my puppy is back to being happy and healthy thanks to this great healthcare group as well as my family veterinarian, Dr. Grover.
