Prices are competitive. Management and personnel are outstanding. This is the best community and store. We came up for the weekend with prosecco. Some Ben Lomand natives recommended an Aperol Spritz. We called Veruttis, Ben Lomand Liquors, and they carried Aperol. It was $10 less then BevMo. I went into this store for the first time and was making a purchase that was $15.93. I wanted to pay $15 cash and put the .93 cent on my card. The extremely rude girl behind the counter said it is a $5 minimum for a card purchase. Ummmm I'm buying $16......? Now the rudeness of the girl behind the counter turn into a total bitch! I was being cordial the entire time (up to this point) trying to explain the purchase is $16. Maybe she is having a bad day. But she definitely crossed the line with what she did next. I had to give her my id for the cigarettes I purchased and she rudely told me she was going to pay the .93 and asked me when I would be back to pay her back because she was going to pay the .93 cents out of her pocket and she still has my ID at this point. She then literally started writing down my information from my ID. This girl should be fired for sure. I will be filing a small claims suit against this establishment for taking down my information from my ID WITHOUT my permission. Why all the drama. Why was this even a issue? What is the difference if I spend $16 and pay the entire $16 on my card or pay $15 cash and .93 cents on my card? Same CC processing fee either way. This is literally the biggest BITCH I have ever in my life encountered at a convenience store. Oh and I started recording on my phone after she started acting like a mad child so I have the most of the interaction on video. I wish I could post a video on here. Anyhow I'll be seeing her in court in the not to far future. This BITCH is a liability to this establishment, unless she is a owner. I couldn't imagine that but you never know. What an amazing place to have in the valley. Awesome selection of wines and whiskey, especially for the location. I really appreciate the selection of great local wines. Most of them very good. I also appreciate the owner's apparent love for whiskey. They have some of my favorites that are hard to find in San Jose. The last thing I'll say is that they are very fair on their prices and don't try to gouge their customers because of the location. Overall a diamond in the rough and definitely worth the stop! read more

Trevor at Ben Lomond Liqours is awesome! Ben Lomond Liqours prices were on point. They have an awesome selection of local craft beer. We had a wedding at Waterfall Lodge up the road and this was our go-to for our beer. We ordered one keg but we needed a dual jockey box because we had some home brew we wanted to serve as well. Trevor came through with the rental for the jockey box. He delivered it to the venue along with all our beer (the keg plus multiple cases) and set the keg up. He walked my now-husband through how to set it up for our home brew keg, since it hadn't yet arrived. Trevor was super friendly, he and my husband hung out for so long. It was really nice. We needed to do some modifications to the jockey box for the home brew keg and he was very helpful and super chill about it. He also came back the day after the wedding to pick everything back up. Trevor may not know it, but he was a huge part in setting us up for the best day of our lives. We are super appreciative of his great customer service. He's good people! read more

This place is near my daughter's. When I visit I often drop off at this tiny and crowded hole the wall in the middle of NOWHERE. The owner is usually there. Imagine my surprise at the vast variety, competitive prices and knowledgeable service... This ain't no redneck beer stop!!! I couldn't believe the variety of single malts (my poison) and the price of the Bowmore I bought was cheaper than at BevMo in Fremont. Great brandies? Grappas even.... my goodness he has a nice variety. The best part is his knowledge of his inventory. He knows his stuff. read more
